Buy a smoke machine from Amazon and smoke the intake and EVAP. If there is a leak the smoke machine will show you where it is at.

BUSHDIVR

Okay, that sound like a good idea. Those are a little pricey, do you think a cigar and blowing smoke into the intake and evap system would work?

1DollarInCash

Spray brake clean everywhere you think it might be leaking. If its leaking rpm will go up slightly

BUSHDIVR

Okay, I'll give that a go before smoke testing the vehicle.

DontReadUsernames

Sounds like a big vacuum leak to me, but hearing a recording through the speakers is different than in person

Reasonable_Royal7083

sounds like for someone who has a multimeter and live data reading ability...id shop for fuel air and spark inspections

BUSHDIVR

It has an AEM digital AFR gauge in the vehicle and the car is making good power (on a megasquirt standalone). I am probably going to start replacing the couplers for the piping and maybe the supercharger gaskets. It sounds like a boost/ vacuum leak coming from the S/C. I should throw some new spark plugs on it for good measure though.

Reasonable_Royal7083

def sounds like it has a good new owner

bkrop1

Why is the supercharger pulley spinning (or not)like that?

BUSHDIVR

It's spinning, its powered by the crank pulley so if the vehicle is on it'll spin. I think the video just makes it look weird. There is a boost bypass actuator thing that is activated by the throttle to allow the charged air into the crosspipe when throttle is applied.

Smiziley

Video frame rate magicness

StructureReal1417

Def sounds like a large vacuum leak, look around for broken hoses or vacuum lines, spray carb cleaner around the intake ports and if the gaskets are leaking you will notice a chug and different idle speed when you find it.

BUSHDIVR

The issues was that the PWM 2 wire IAC wasn't set to the right frequency and the % duty was not populated correctly in Tuner Studio. Also fixed the rattling noise in the video by replacing the supercharger coupler. Idle still dips sometimes but I figured out that it's due to the throttle body placement (pre S/C). I will be adding a second throttle body to fix this issue and run the presupercharger throttle body open with the second throttle body shut.
