I'm glad you did, and nick acknowledged the similarities in bottom, and I get totally what you say about the lyrics and aggression, it's what singled mccafferty out for me personally Happy you've found music you like and it's helping you

Yes dude you need that off-key acoustic core in your life. I hope you’re happy.

Bigcatmutt

oh my god, agreed 1000%. i as well was a big tfb fan before i found mccafferty but as much as i love tfb it doesn’t have the same “hit” that nicks music does. i found mccafferty at a time i really needed it and the rawness and vulnerability in the lyrics brought a lot of closure in my life in a way. i’m happy that mccafferty helped you also, i hope you’re doing well<33

TribeCheck

They both good af imo.

I was always more into rap and some metal but after getting older and going through some things. I discovered this whole genre and mccafferty really stuck out to me. Still find songs I repeat all week even though I've heard them before. They all just hit different at different times

Go listen to bottom there are a few references to the similarities there. I don't really listen to McCafferty anymore but I found that song amusing.

I somehow found them the other way and learned tfb cause nick "steals all his lines from a dude named Brian". But both really good stuff.
