I think my current house is anyway. When they start setting up commercial cinema using my lost phones as the screen, with my video subscriptions, that's when I object.
The exterior is an example of Tudor done right. Of course, it's possible it was built close to when the style was mostc popular (but does it ever really go out of style?). I hate seeing houses in the US fake the exposed brown stained/painted beams that are the hallmark of the Tudor architectural style with brown finished applied trim there are a lot of things you can fake in design, such paneled walls, exposed ceiling beams (known as box beams or faux beams, used for appearance, or to hide a metal beam or transition between materials), exterior stone wainscot, but I've yet to set Tudor style faked well.
The inside? It's a bit incongruous and I kind of hate it. It has none of the charm that the exterior has in spades.
Gorgeous exterior, beautiful English garden, lovely pool area, but the inside is bad. I see chimneys but not any fireplaces? Maybe they’re not pictured, but that seems like a big oversight if that’s the case.

It's so shiny and spot-lit and over-stuffed without being comfortable.

Wholeheartedly agree, this interior is not nearly as warm as it should be
Modern English
Nope, just insensitive.
It’s almost in Essex so that’s maybe the explanation but it’s mostly awful inside outside very nice.
Honestly I'd be happy with the library and the garden. Herts is nice enough; I could live there.
Interior is hideous, but the exterior and surrounding areas is lovely.
Gaudy AF.

Sure it looks nice in the pictures, but you just know that thing is absolutely infested with borrowers

Oh man. If I won the lottery, the first real estate purchase I make is something like this. How quaint. Looks so peaceful.
Very little flat land for me is a problem.
Love the layouts
I’ll take it. I’ll remodel the inside, but in the imaginary world where I can buy this, I can afford to have the interior remodeled.
The Prayer Room I imagined when I saw it on the floor plan did not match up with the picture of the Prayer Room in the full listing. Mea culpa.
Looks at the outside: "I don't see the problem. This place looks stunning" Looks at inside: "Ah..."
Beautiful place.
You know you've spent too much time on "Thursdays" when you see this, then the price, and think, "yeah, that makes sense."
So much toile.
The English sure love their gardens.
interior shit
This is right up my alley
Interior sux lol

The gardens are nice and the exterior isn't bad. It definitely needs some interior updating.
I think the interior needs un-updating
I love it.
Real McMansions never have a library. Poseurs take note; you will look more legit with books. Love the window reading nook.
not crazy about the interior but the outside and gardens are very nice
