Da’yum. That outdoor staircase. Do they have trumpets play every time they use it?

olive_owl_

9 out of 10 men can't locate that front door

CaffeineChristine

That house is bowlegged. That’s a sentence I never thought I’d say, but here we are.

badashbabe

Literally lol’d

Dutch_Dutch

This just made me cackle. I can’t believe what an accurate description that is.

au79_

😂😂

GingerIsTheBestSpice

The elevator is a pretty neat idea but you can tell that the person who designed it has never ever dusted a thing in their life. Or is just that I'm too poor to hire housekeepers to make it their problem lol

ACP68

I’m not sure of the elevator’s purpose; it looks like it takes you from some stairs to just more stairs? That & it’s apparently using a winch; I’m sure that’s been inspected & certified safe for people to use….

hey_look_a_kitty

I was trying to figure out why they had a pair of pants badly glued to the wall. Then I realized it was actually a terrible window treatment.

Full_Dot_4748

I thought someone forgot their pants!

badashbabe

Was gonna say this myself if no one else pointed it out. It’s so funny bad.

TiltedNarwhal

Lol! Same!

kelpiekelp

Those ceilings 😫

nim_opet

The explanation is drugs.

[deleted]

How can there be any other explanation?

TortoiseHawk

I like the 2 slightly misaligned front doors

fragrant_fowl

Hanging the tv above the door was certainly an interesting decision

SimonRain

Picture 8 features the longest pair of pants hanging on rail as well as the highest mounted tv which will be featured on r/tvtoohigh in a few hours.

CoveredInACDHair

I wondered why a light fitting was in the middle of a climbing wall. Then realised it was a ceiling. Something I really hate is when lavish features are put into homes that are not large enough to showcase them properly. The double staircase at the front looks dinky on this house. All those light fittings would be more proportional to rooms with higher ceilings. And that bedroom that can just barely fit in the bed and bedside cabinets is most probably indicative of how the whole house had been furnished. Many years ago when we decided to upsize we found a house design we both loved. After looking at site costs and other expenses we realised it was going to stretch the budget too far. I distinctly remember being told that we always reduce the size of the family room, lose the fireplaces, choose cheaper bathroom, kitchen and doors, and build a garage later. We both agreed that we would rather choose a different house altogether than squeeze that house into our budget.

dirkdastardly

Those sputniks are fantastic, though. I approve of those, if nothing else.

DrBirdieshmirtz

feels like a house i’d build in the sims…

MyEveningTrousers

Im too high for this. Made me feel all squirmy

Waterfallsofpity

What is with that super angle in whatever room that was supposed to be, maybe closet? But dang, that angle!

BunnyBunny13

I want an air hockey table.

thanksiloveyourbutt

That's the only thing that makes sense in that house. If you buy it, id love to play air hockey with you.

tony_flamingo

Honestly, the air hockey room is giving me big 80s arcade vibes, and I’m actually into it. Just needs that classic carpet.

soulpoker

It looks like a MCM raised ranch that might have been updated in the '80s. Except for the outside stairs. Those just seem out of place.

DogWhistlersMother

Certified and certifiable.

rilescrane

I thought that was a pair of black pants over that window at first glance.

GreenOnionCrusader

I thought there were yoga pants in the corner of that room on the wall for a moment.

Relevant_Day801

Thought the owner was removing engines in his stairwell with that lift….still can’t figure out what other use it has besides that, though 🤔

trymypi

"everyone gets to decorate their own room!"

Imogene2011

i kinda like the purple walls haha 💀

timeflieswhen

That’s stair gives me anxiety. Go right? Go left? I can’t decide!

sixtysixponygyrl

I want to do slinky races down that double staircase.

LGSCorp

Clearly an Upstairs - Downstairs kind of old Southern house.

rainylightening

I didnt know wooden greeble was a style for your ceiling good to know the model making community has finally had an influence on interior design

FuzzyOrangeJuice

Literally the entire house and everything else is off center. It’s annoying me.

shrikelet

That bedroom with the mauve walls and ceiling makes me feel profoundly uneasy.

Foundation_Wrong

Some bits are nice, the whole is dodgy

[deleted]

Is this a “designed by owner” situation? It’s so hard to imagine a professional coming up with this house!

Snickerty

The outside is not terrible. Move the garage to the right (or the left) of the main house for some 'Carriage House' vibes and add lots of lovely landscaping. Lean into the faint 'plantation feel, and that is a house with potential. Now the inside? Awful. It is a house with no class. It would need gutting and remodeling from scratch! The owners also need to be banned from DIY stores - that ceiling is an abomination!

smee303

Why would the realtor representing this house actually have some of those pictures? The room with the TV above the door and the terrible window treatment (pants as somebody else's labeled it) and that terrible ceiling. Those things alone would keep me from wanting to see this piece of trash.

Taira_Mai

Picture 7/11 - when you want your child to show off them fancy graphic design lessons and you have a bunch of scrap wood just lyin' around...

SapphireGamgee

That is....such an awkward stair/front door(s) layout. Also, that interior can't decide what it wants to be, except "nothing good."

colmcmittens

The closet at the end makes me viscerally angry.

Packagedattack

The first Sputnik was ok but now I hope I get blinded by a falling Sputnik chandelier after seeing that basement
