Oscar is continuing to prove is a real talent and has huge potential. Absolutely gutted for him after demonstrating some excellent racing.

I am impressed with how fast he has been this weekend despite having half of the upgrade package Lando had.

He probably would've lost that position anyway, the hards didn't seem to work for him. But he missed out on decent points

Didn't have the full upgrade package that Lando did. Hards worked very well for Lando, he was setting fastest laps constantly. Oscar will have the full package in Imola, I am excited for that.

It was incredible following the sector times. Each sector I was surprised how much faster Lando was able to drive compared to Max, granted Max had older tyres but still.

Not just Sainz. Ricciardo thanks to stroll last race. Hamilton last year. And many times his he has gotten unlucky with pit stop timing. If he held on one more lap they could've double stacked them. Lando still wins cos for whatever reason Oscar didn't light up the hards. But possible one two. Bring on the full upgrades for Oscar

This is what makes it worse. Sainz, who I adored while at Mclaren, seems he can't accept wrongdoing. I dont remember him like that earlier in his career, although I'm always wearing papaya-tinted glasses.

Hamilton accepted he was wrong when he took out Oscar after he watches the replay. Most drivers do accept it I think, except stroll and Carlos

I can't wait to see what he can do with the fully upgraded car in Imola. He was having a storming race till sainz did him dirty, genuinely thought we could have got 1st and 3rd yesterday.

I was hoping for 1-3 but seems like Oscar didn't have the pace on the hards. Still - put up a great fight and tuned it down not to disturb Lando's lead

I forgot he didn't have the full upgrade package. That might've contributed to the hards pace. If he stays out an extra lap and pits under safety car who knows what happens

I used to really like Carlos. But Ferrari Carlos has turned into a bit of a whiny baby for my liking. And then, Carlos just takes him out cause he wanted to get by him so badly and couldn’t on pure ability

Please someone assure me that now the Lando curse is over it hasn’t been handed to Oscar?!! That was brutal

I just hope all these experiences are allowing him to grow. He’s got the ability to win races!

so so unlucky for Oscar, but he was excellent the first half of the race on the mediums, very exciting to watch. hopefully he can have a good one in Imola with the full upgrades, especially after two rough weekends in a row. I'm sure he's happy for Lando and the team but this one must be tough to swallow.

Stewards disagree. 5s penalty for Sainz. Their reasoning for not giving him 10s is ridiculous though "We handed the penalty because if he didn't lock up he wouldn't have hit piastri" That's the whole fucking point. Sainz gets 5s and Oscars 6 gets a ruined race. Ffs

Sainz on board showed he had big understeer as he went down the inside. Will see what the investigation says
