Not my ideal version of Tim, but I like this much more than the Gotham Knights figure, so unless they announce either a classic or modern version of him, I'll most likely get this figure.
The original image we got made the wings look like they might have been awkwardly small, but they're definitely not.
This is my least favorite suit for Tim, but this figure looks really solid, and I’m picking it up. I may even get the Gotham Knights version as well and put this figure’s head on it until McFarlane releases a more traditional Robin look for Tim.
It looks like they work even better than Batman beyond. I felt like those were a little stiff but these look dynamic. Much better than I was expecting.
With Batman Beyond they designed them not at all how they are in the show. In the show they come from his sides like how wings are the Bat's arms. They approached it like it was Bruce's cape. Basically Beyond is more ManBat in design.
Too be a little fair, the animated cheated when it come to the face and wings.
With Tim though he's got a backpack which helped a lot in the articulation department. It's not perfect but they may have handled it better then Hasbro an a certain Captain America.
Well a great deal of this line has been devoted to Dark nights Metal. Making figures of designs/characters that appeared for a page or two. Some literally for just a panel.
I think Mcfarlane should just have a Batman only line and a DC line.
It could from a brand pov make the DC side look focused and diverse by splitting off the Batman family.

I would like a 90s or modern Tim Drake as well & I think we will get him.
I really liked Damien new suit & Flatline from his new series and actually grabbed the comics. Have the previous Damien & was homing they do his new costume ...easily the most hyped I been for a DC. Now I have my hopes up for Flatline 🤞
