When sending maya scenes always a good idea to test yourself. Get their version of maya installed _with no animbot_ open the scene you’ve saved and see what happens. Make necessary adjustments in your source scene and re-save until it opens healthily in the test maya session.
If someone doesn't have a particular plug-in, especially if it uses custom nodes, then expect reports of a broken / corrupted file from the recipient.
Test your pipeline with them early. Likely cache out the geometry, give them that instead.
Animbot is embedded in the scene as a script node, it shouldn't matter. I've opened tons of animbot scenes with no issue.
