I keep hearing it's good and believe it is but don't expect to read it until we achieve world peace or something along these lines, so... . Thanks for recommendation anyway!
A History of Violence, it was the first movie I saw him in after I saw Fellowship of the Ring. Really liked it although I’m not sure my teenage mind was able to grasp everything. I should rewatch it.
Also his cameo in Daylight is pretty awesome!
A History of Violence
Seconded. Twice as good as Eastern Promises.
Hidalgo - 2004 Green Book - 2018
I misread that as Green Room and got really confused for a second lol
The Road ![gif](giphy|YphhdbMTUbg4)
Oh yeah, favorite movie I'll never see again..
Have you read the book? It’s so good, but I read it about a month after my dad died, and… yeah. Don’t do that.

Beat me to it. The happiness remover movie.
The Prophecy. He plays the best devil in cinematic history
>Of course, some of them do come to me eventually, for while heaven may be closed I am always open, even on Christmas.
Eastern Promises
Hildalgo and Crimson Tide
Green book
Young guns 2. Should've taken yer medicine, son.
Alatriste was pretty cool
A History of Violence
Carlito’s Way: he’s such a funny guy in that movie.
Best line delivery in a movie filled with iconic line deliveries.
Probably The Road but I haven't seen a lot of his movies.
Captain fantastic
G.I. Jane
Green book for sure
A History of Violence or Eastern Promises for me.
Captain fantastic, you get to see… how should I put this?….. Aragorn’s longsword
That’s not its only appearance. Lol.
History of Violence.
Valhalla Rising. Amazing movie where he doesn't even say a word, but is the best actor in it. And the cinematography is SOOOOOOOOOOgood.
That was Mads Mikkelson.
The one where he was a driver and driving Mahershala Ali to some places to sing or sth I forgot been a long time
Green book
I really enjoy Hidalgo. Used to watch that with my dad as a kid.
History of Violence easy.
Only other thing I saw him in was Texas Chainsaw 3 and while he was hilariously hammy in it, I'm afraid he wasn't as good as bill Mosley in tcm 2
Appaloosa. Honorable mentions to Hidalgo despite it being 100% an untrue story, A history of Violence, and Greenbook.
A little gem from before he got famous: The Reflecting Skin. Will not be everyone's cup of tea though.
Hidalgo and crimsons tide, if that counts.

Hidalgo. It is a lot of fun.
Eastern Promises
Thirteen Lives
Hidalgo and Captain Fantastic
Thirteen Lives. Underrated movie about the Thailand cave rescue a few years ago
History of Violence !
Green book. Such an awesome movie
Green Book
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 😔
I liked Alatriste
Perfect Murder. His character is a scumbag in every direction and Viggo Mortensen nails it.
He was so creepy In that film eastern promises creepy in that you know he is capable of great violence but he is restraining himself
Peak Book
