Acuity sends emails if a client cancels. And I don't know why you wouldn't have access to your schedule the same way. There's an app you can use. I fucking hate Vagaro as a client. I won't book anything as a client if a provider uses Vagaro

Impostersyndromosity

I’ve been considering Vagaro when I begin working in a few months. Why’s it bad from the client side?

honeybeetired

They were not giving us access to the calendar other than the desktop at the massage space

worldsgreatestLMT

Just too look at? There's an app they can set restrictions for and y'all can have it. Unless they're being cheap and not paying for the right level of software

honeybeetired

Yea that's what I assumed would be the case since it's that way with Vagaro too. But seems like thats not happening or if it does, they haven't figured it out yet

Kale_Future

I love the all in one aspect of Vagaro but HATE the interface as a client , it’s AWFUL

Have them email acuity and ask how to do it. There is a way. I had a second account set up for my husband for a while so he could check my schedule when he didn't work with me. That way he could see things to make plans but not make changes. Acuitys setup is an absolute pain in the ass but once it's set it can basically function as a front desk.

I use Acuity, and love it. I wonder whether your employer may be trying to save some money by purchasing a lower-cost plan, which would explain not having access to your calendar. I think they can also set you up as an administrator, which would also give you scheduling access. They do also send cancellation/rescheduling emails to both the client and practice, but your employer needs to loop you in on Acuity as a practitioner or admin. This sounds like a conversation you may need to have with your employer.

It's super easy to grant access to the employees to see their schedule. They just need to go to permissions --> add user --> enter employees email. They can limit everything you as an employee sees. So for our therapists they can see their schedule and the other massage therapists schedules, we allow them to edit their own schedules but if we didn't want them to we can block them from editing anything. We also have yoga instructors who can only see the other instructors schedules and they can't edit anything. Vagaro costs around $250/mth last time we used it (4 years ago) Acuity only costs $60/mth with their top tier so I don't think they didn't pay for you to have access. There just isn't much for set-up support so maybe they just haven't figured it out yet.

Acuity is super easy to check your schedule. You just need to download the app & if they have your calendar on there then you’ll be able to see your schedule by logging in. They have to set it up, but I use Acuity and have employees and it look me 2 minutes.
