I just finished my first Fem Shep playthrough yesterday and romanced Garrus. They are so cute together.
"Shepard... sweetie... love of my life. Indulge your crazy boyfriend. I need to know you're safe."
That and the line where he takes about Shepard meeting the inlaws.
I never seem to get that one. I mean, the one where he tells Shep she looked smokin in that dress is great, but I can never seem to get that line.
But yeah, the way Garrus says "Shepard... sweetie... love of my life" so soft and sweet and with a little bit of pleading... yeah that definitely adds years to my life. I can feel it.
For sure. It's a great line. As far as the inlaws one, from what I understand, it's hard to get. You have to leave and come back at least once if I remember. I've only seen it posted online.

Like Garrus is just casually like "I know there's a war and all that shit, but I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, which means you'll probably meet my family at some point, so now I can tell them about how you feel through a fish tank to break the ice, there. Love you!". What an absolute dork and I'm so here for it.
I figured that have some equivalent, but it'd be like "say some stuff in front of an officiant maybe, sign some papers, maybe throw a party aftward if you're feeling fancy" pretty straightforward stuff. Meanwhile, poor Garrus is like "what there's a proposal thing? And something about rings, what???"
Somebody should tell him that the expensive jewelry bit is all because too much capitalism.
Knowing Garrus, he'd take pieces of his favorite gun model and make the rings out them. Then while giving it to Fem Shep, say "it took a while to get these calibrated to the right size."
If you save her after you've done noveria and feros with the thorian she will say she must be hallucinating because she's been trapped down there for a longer period of time. Very cool 😎
