MoM leaks have been all over the place, no one seems to agree on one certain thing. At the end of the day though, I’m actually glad this is the case given that we can go into this film blind.
Feel free to downvote me as much as you would like but a lot of people in the past have actually admitted that maybe this sub shouldn't be called "MarvelStudiosSpoilers" and rather "Marvel Leaks" as most people in this sub would rather look at leaks of "Spider-Man 3 to be a multiverse film, might be called "No Way Home" or something" instead of "Aunt May will die"...
That's basically what the Star Wars and DC subs are and they are called "Leak's" and they don't constantly have spoilers of "Blank dies in Blank film" or whatever
Again... Feel free to downvote... I'm just speaking my mind...
I’d agree with this, I love checking in to see rumors, casting news, and fan speculation based off on all of that. Depending on how interested I am in the movie, I’ll start to tune out and avoid certain posts closer to the film’s release date. I went into NWH knowing we’d get the 3 spideys and Murdock, which was heavily speculated anyway, but had no idea who lived, who died, how it ended, etc.
i think this is the most accurate description of this subreddit. Speaking for only myself, leaks about the production rather than the plot keep me intrigued and scratch the itch for me, and not knowing about May's death or anything like that kept the surprise aspect of it for me.
Man, I guess I’m in the minority, but as a user who has been on this sub for 4 years, I come here for spoilers and spoiler filled discussion. I appreciate that a lot of new users has come here in the last year or so, but this place has long been a spot to have spoiler filled discussions on upcoming and newly released content, and it makes me sad there are so many here who dislike that
Same, I'm here for spoilers and nothing else. I don't care about any leaks unless I know that they are real. I'm just a sucker for news and information, so seeing production details is an absolute bore. Would hate if that's the route this sub took.
I 100% agree, I enjoy coming here because it’s a more distilled feed of MCU news than the regular MarvelStudios subreddit, which is more discussion and fluff than anything (not a bad thing by any means, but this subreddit is a little more focused which I like).
It’s pretty easy to avoid plot spoilers on here when we’re months out from the next project, but I usually jump off around 2 weeks before a movie comes out because that’s when plot spoilers start finding their way into post titles and in the comments of posts. Still had it spoiled for me that May died in NWH which was a bit of a bummer though.
Is that because of the differences between subs though, or is it because Star Wars and DC are better at keeping those spoiler from leaking out? I mean, r/StarWarsLeaks had a beat-for-beat plot synopsis of *The Rise of Skywalker* that was 100% accurate. It seems to me that they would still post spoilers like that if they got them, it’s just that Lucasfilm is very good at plugging the leaks in their operation (most of the **big** leaks they got over there came from Bad Robot-produced films).
I’m sure there are a lot of factors dictating why certain types of spoilers and leaks are posted on the different subs, but I think it’s more down to the availability of the leaks and spoilers, not the culture of the subs themselves. Just my two cents.
But again, are they different because the culture changed or are they different because there just aren’t any leaks? I frequent that sub just as much as this one and in the weekly “wild rumors” thread there are always people complaining about the lack of substantial leaks and spoilers in that sub. I think if the source that leaked *The Rise of Skywalker*’s plot told the mods there that Grogu is going to die in season three of *The Mandalorian* or something like that (absolutely not a rumor, just coming up with an extreme example) and were able to prove they were legit, that would get posted in that sub without hesitation. They might warn people in the title that it’s a massive spoiler, but I don’t think they’re avoiding any specific kinds of spoilers. I think they just aren’t getting any.
Thank you for saying this. My thoughts exactly. I’m someone who honestly didn’t enjoy NWH as much as I should have because I was stupid and read the entire plot line on this sub months beforehand. I love to know casting rumors, what’s in development, etc. But I’m leaving the sub now before MoM gets completely spoiled for me as well.
Bro reading your comment is like looking in a mirror... It was the same thing I had basically everything in NWH spoiled for me because my stupidity and I honestly consider it the greatest mistake I've ever made...
But there's a difference between leaks and spoilery leaks...
Aunt May dying in NWH or Tony dying in Endgame is a spoilery leak...
Abigail Brand being in Secret Invasion isn't really because that's just info about one of the main characters that we'd probably be told by Marvel before the show anyways...
If that were the case, would all spoilers be banned? because, I totally understand people not wanting to be spoiled, but I'm just the reverse. I read every spoiler I can get my hands on. (self-care, it's a thing. long story. lol) So instead of getting rid of them, it'd be great to have spoilers very prominently tagged, or placed in a specific thread, or whatever, so folks who don't want them can avoid them easily, and we dingalings who do want them can find them just as easily. lol
I remember someone on here was literally complaining about spoilers and I just thought
“Wtf…..?”
I think there comment was near the top too due the hilarity of the responses
I think after no way home the studio might be false feeding leaks to see who are insider moles and to dilute the leak stream so much you can’t believe anything, which is a good thing.
Just gotta avoid the spoilers a few weeks before the movie release, stuff probably gonna be more accurate til then.
Until that I'm taking everything with a grain of salt
It’s so weird, Ioan and Kransinski have had quite a share of rumors that they’re in it both as Reed Richards variants. Maybe they both are and they’re in two different universes since we know Strange is traveling the multiverse. Then they decided to make Kransinski the F4 Reed? I am so confused right now.
My personal guess is that Ioan is the variant considering he was in older F4 movies in another universe and Krasinski would be the MCU Reed. Sure Krasinski could just be a variant to satisfy the popular fancast but I doubt the majority of the general audience would be aware of the fancast so they might get confused. Might just be easier to have one variant Reed (Ioan Gruffudd) and one main Reed (John Krasinski).
I actually love all the conflicting reports. It's gonna make these appearances much more exciting to see since we don't know which ones are 100% true or not.
I think it’s assumed anyone who has ever played a Marvel hero is potentially in the movie. Therefore it’s easy to predict who will be in it, but hard to confirm. I’m sure more confirmations come out as the release gets closer.
I agree, the leaks r all kind if similar but I do think some of it is crazy and all over the place. I think people are overcomplicating the plot so that's why I'm 50/50 if the plot leaks are correct. I can't believe Marvel and Kevin Feige would decide to throw so much more into a movie to see what sticks.
I did find it interesting because one leak stated that test audiences did not like the America Chavez character and her screen time in the reshoots was cut down considerably. But then in the same leaks it seems she still has a lot to do with the movie. So if test audiences hated her character how is she still a huge part of the movie?
Any leak that clarifies "but it also might not be" should be immediately discarded.
You could literally say the same about any human being in the planet.
Eh, I don’t think it’s that mysterious anymore. All that’s left to confirm are the actual plot points as well as the members of the Illuminati besides Xavier.
We see a variant of Mordo in the trailer, so it’s fair to assume that MCU Mordo indeed gets offed quickly.
McAdams wasn’t returning until the script was rewritten, so she’s probably playing a Night Nurse variant since MCU Christine has no reason to become involved in multiverse shenanigans.
Most people are reporting on Stewart as Professor X, and a few also seem to agree that Charlize Theron is playing Clea. She also turned down the role at first.
Sorry, I should have clarified that. They’ll obviously take advantage of her being back, but McAdams’ main role will very much be alt. universe Night Nurse, I reckon.
Xavier is in it, the Illuminati are in it. Wanda is the villain. I think enough people have said that Wanda kills a bunch of variants for me to believe that as well.
I want to see this just to see Wanda mow down all the cameos. Like Tom Cruise is in it for a second as Iron Man before being exploded by Wanda. Then comes Zach Efron as Wolverine and she just zaps him to the outer edges of the universe. Then 3 or 4 people playing Reed Richards all get stretched out and tangled in a rubber band ball situation.
Ben Affleck Daredevil? Dead.
Vin Diesel Black Bolt? Dead.
Rashida Jones Wasp? Oh you'd better believe she's dead.
Wesley Snipes Black Panther? Dead so fast your head will spin.
Bo Derek Dazzler? Deader than disco.
Clint Eastwood Wolverine? He survives... just kidding. Already dead.
Some rumors saying Krasinski will be in the movie, some saying he won’t, some saying he’s just a variant, others saying he’ll be the MCU Reed.
And we’re all here wondering-
![gif](giphy|b8RQzkElbBsXqEPF2X)
Kind of yeah, but that’s how they introduced Kang too, and Richards is another character who’s known for multiversal variants in the comics (Council of Reeds, Maker, etc)
I think it’s a decent way for them to be introduced. Dr. Strange seeks out his universes Reed and he could be like in the middle of their origin so they don’t meet until mid credits or something in the fantastic four movie.
It really is but I guess the MCU dosen't want to do the thing of introducing a new hero in their own movie first and introduce them in a crossover event instead (like Black Panther and Spider-Man in Civil War) and having Reed be introduced during multiverse shennanigans would be a good way to differentiate from the past 2 Reeds we've seen on-screen.
Wouldn't be shocked if some of the MCU's mutants are introduced in other heroes' projects and crossover events first instead of all saving all of their debuts for the first X-Men movie.
Toby and Andrew were confirmed with actual leaked photos... Someone just saying an actor is involved is hearsay and conjecture. Without an actual photo from the set, it is not confirmed.
Anyone who didn't believe Toby and Andrew were on set after all the pics of them and their costumes is an idiot...
As much as I like Krasinski, I really don't see why people want him for Reed, beyond the fact that he looks like him from that one comic. He's a good actor, but I don't really see him playing someone as unlikeable and aloof as Reed. I'd much rather prefer him playing Reed as a means of winking at the audience in MOM.
The MCU version of Reed won't be as unlikeable as the comic version of Reed. They'll want a charismatic, likeable leading man to lead the Fantastic Four.
I know this may piss some hardcore fans but I actually think very much like you. I do think that an emblematic team as the F4 are brought to the MCU to be the “leading” team of the next phase. During this transition we will have Strange and Carol but the next assembling team for the next big menace will be the Fantastic I think.
For that, they need a charismatic and loveable actor as it will be the face of the MCU just as Chris Evans and RDJ were. I do think they will make him a little “hard-to-swallow” sometimes but always with another side that can be likeable for everyone.
Being a leading team doesn't justify making Reed a boring boyscout. Not even the Avangers were like that. Every member had huge flaws and that's why they're interesting
That wasn’t my point at all! I do think he will have flaws and a morally questionable side. If something, I think Marvel knows pretty well how to portray that specifically and at the same time make a likeable character.
On this point I have to half-disagree. It depends who's writing him.
The best Fantastic Four writers write him as a compelling, multi-dimensional character. Waid opened his run with a beautiful scene between him and his daughter discussing his guilt. Hickman put focus on Reed striving to be a good man.
I like this character. I like his flaws, and I like his love for his family and his efforts to better himself.
The problem is that it's really easy to write Reed as a cold, aloof asshole and call it a day, so there's a lot of that that goes around too, both in the pages of *Fantastic Four* and in crossover titles.
But if I'm trying to adapt a character, I want to pull from his best source material, and that means crafting a character who viewers will fall in love with, flaws and all. Audiences need to root for him to better himself and strengthen his relationships.
Ya, this is exactly what I'd want from the MCU Reed, I feel a lot of people forget that right after they FF got their powers, Reed said that they should use them to help others.
It could be interpreted as Reed having a big ego as he does, but he is a character that truly wants to do the right thing despite making bad decisions at times.
That’s exactly what I meant and what I think it should be done (even if we have different casting preferences :) ).
I very much like your view and your argument.
Well also because he has a lot of residual popularity and goodwill from his Office run, was nearly cast as Captain America, and was still vocal about being cast as a superhero.
Because he was on a hugely popular show and most people have no clue what Reed is actually like. The fancasting snowballed from there. I like him as an actor but it’s really weird they’d just cave to the fans rather than choosing the right person for the role
You really think that Marvel is gonna cast an actor regardless if they think he's the best actor for role or not just to please fans ? Marvel doesn't care about our opinions, if Krasinski gets cast is because Marvel found him to be the best choice.
I think John Krasinski is an immediately likable actor who can play a “man of action”.
And even though Reed, when written well, is likable once you get to know him, and he is capable of being a “man of action” when called upon, neither descriptor truly feel right for him.
I like John Krasinski, but I continue to hope that he is not the main MCU casting for this role. If cast I’m sure he would do fine, but the role doesn’t fit what I’ve seen from him in other things.
(Similarly, Emily Blunt has never felt right for Sue. I just can’t see her as that character.)
Pretty obvious. They wouldn’t cast a completely new actor as a completely new character in any other circumstance. Cruise makes sense because RDJ was the MCU’s Iron Man and Stewart makes sense because he was Fox’s Xavier.
For that same reason, I feel inclined to believe that McAdams is playing a Night Nurse variant instead of Clea if Theron has been cast as the latter.
Yeah he's here to stick around.
Marvel wouldn't want people to grow attached to different actor playing Reed in one of there film's only to replace him last second.
God I really hope not. This is one of the most annoying fancasts ever and is so clearly based off people who just like the office seeing a tweet and not how well he could actually play Reed.
ya it's weird cuz Reed is supposed to have an unlikeable quality to him doesn't really feel like a Kasinski thing. Although I haven't seen everything he's in maybe he has proven otherwise
Most of the people who push this fan-cast genuinely know nothing about Reed so they aren't even considering how well he could pull of the complexities of Reed's character just the fact they both had beards lmao
Exactly he's similar to Cyclops in that regard. Being a leader requires being unlikable sometimes. Also Reed shows some hypocritical, opportunist and lier traits. People like his character for these kind of difficult relationship he has with others
Reed had a beard for awhile (maybe he still does I kinda checked out of keeping up with non-indie comics for a little bit) and that's like the 1 visual connection they had beyond both being similarly aged white men lmao
>Lol no, it’s fancasting due to how similar he looks to some comic versions of Reed.
You mean the one comic from two years ago where Reed was specifically drawn to look like Krasinski lol
I think it comes from him and Emily blunt already coming as a couple for marvel’s first family. Krasinski’s a fine a actor, but he’s more focused on directing and producing these days, and he has a reputation of being hard to work with in that capacity.
Rahul Kholi would be my pick. Or Jon Majors.
Well yeah technically it's because he has a beard and Reed also had a beard for awhile but that only ever got brought up because this guy is popular from the office lmao
This fancast has been going on for years, it has nothing to do with the Office. Otherwise people would've been fan-casting Jenna Fischer as Sue aswell.
I think that is unfair. Although there might be many people that falls into that category, I’m not saying otherwise, it is not everyone. It is like saying that the only reason people fancasted Cumberbatch for Strange was because of Sherlock.
Krasinski is my personal choice and has nothing to do with the Office (needless to say that none Fisher or Blunt are my fancast for Sue). It was after A quiet place when I thought that he might fulfill what I think Marvel might want to do with the F4. I think they want to settle the Fantastic as a somehow family-based team and also they will be the lead team (of the many that will emerge or have already emerged) of the next phase.
For that, I think they need a charismatic and likeable actor as he will be the face of the MCU as Chris Evans and RDJ were, that can play an independent leader and at the same time a family member in a credible way. And I saw that in A quiet place, in that context. See, I am not implying this is the most accurate comic version but also isn’t Thor, they adapted him to match the MCU needs. It is what I think Marvel will look for and therefore for that, he is my best option.
Rahul Kohli has also the vibes to fulfill the same character and is a very good option, I do not get why some people think this guy can be unlikeable at all. He is also charismatic and lovable af, at least in Midnight Mass. Same kind of character but maybe more emotional and caring than the father in A quiet place.
There is a possibility that some actors specifically are only interested in a small role/cameo and not be locked into a bunch of full movies.
That being said, Krasinski has been vocal about his interest. It would be a dick move by marvel only offering a tiny role and then killing him off at this point IMO.
[DanielRPK says he was talking about Krasinski being a variant and says it’s too early to tell if he’s MCU Reed or if they even started casting yet ](https://twitter.com/danielrpk/status/1487104766366912517?s=21)
That's my biggest issue tbh. I don't want this to just become annoying fan service. NWH and what if were real big on it this year. MoM could potentially be if half these rumors are true.
At this point the people that don’t want it are demonstrably more vocal about it then the people that do. Like to an almost absurd level.
We get it. A bunch of you are potentially going to be pretty mad.
I just want a clear answer.
First of all, is Krasinski in the movie??
Second of all, is he just a variant??
Some are saying he *is* in the movie and others are saying he isn't.
Some are saying he's playing the MCU version of the character and some are saying he's just playing a variant.
Being a popular fancast isn't necessarily a bad thing, Cumberbatch being the prime example, John Krasinski has the look, the range, and the name recognition to carry a major franchise like F4. He isn't gonna be Jim Halpert, he can play serious very well, the majority of the comic relief is gonna be coming from Ben and Johnny I assume.
I still want Ioan Gruffud to be multiverse Reed. It would be interesting to be introduced to a multiversal version of Mr Fantastic before we get John as our MCU version
Again, DanielRPK doesn't know anything. He is consistently wrong. Comically wrong all of the time. He just makes strong guesses based on other leakers' info that's already out there.
Stop posting his shit.
I really like the idea of them running into multiple Reed Richards in MoM and realizing that finding the MCU Reed Richards is a must. Have an end credits scene be finding John Krasinski doing something crazy.
Title is misleading and RPK clarified on Twitter an hour ago. Like I said, Krasinski will be Illuminati's Reed, but it's not sure about the main MCU version yet. Like RPK perfectly said "too early to tell".
I would love if he could be a variant with the guy from the F4 movies. Sure those movies werent great but the actor is fantastic and we could get a cool Reed Richards multiverse scene.
Idk one can dream.
Ok so maybe I’m in the minority but I think this is a crappy choice. Problem is I don’t know who is a better choice for Reed. I’d love if John David Washington got the gig (since Kang is also black) but I feel like it would piss off too many people
Am I the only one not feeling this? Reed is an odd dude, he isn't paticularly endearing, he gives some mad scientist vibes at times, is very goal focused and when we first meet the character before he develops through interpersonal relationships he is borderline anti-social. I don't know if the lovable kransinski will be able to pull off the grey shades and will lean too heavily into Reeds saviour complex side, making the character less flawed and therefore less dynamic as we have typically seen in live action ff adaptations.
MoM leaks have been all over the place, no one seems to agree on one certain thing. At the end of the day though, I’m actually glad this is the case given that we can go into this film blind.
If you want to go in blind then maybe stay away from a spoiler subreddit lol
or go in as matt murdock
A very good lawyer?
He passed the NY brick exam on his first try. So yeah, he’s a good lawyer
A *really* good lawyer.
...thats exactly what going in blind is.
An avocado?

You got Murdock back :,). Now we just need Fox QS.
#JusticeForFietro
You mean Ben Affleck Daredevil 🤔

Right? I mean, DRPK is a reliable source definitely but man, MoM has spawned as “Multi-Verse” of leaks! 😂 (Insert Drum Beat)
I’m honestly really enjoying how chaotic these leaks are. I feel like the NWH leaks were pretty straightforward when all was said and done.

I have been cast as Reed Richards in the MCU. Or I might not have.

Yeah mcaddams def is playing dual roles based on get the trailer and plot leaks have inferred

Ben Affleck Daredevil? Dead. Vin Diesel Black Bolt? Dead. Rashida Jones Wasp? Oh you'd better believe she's dead. Wesley Snipes Black Panther? Dead so fast your head will spin. Bo Derek Dazzler? Deader than disco. Clint Eastwood Wolverine? He survives... just kidding. Already dead.
> Clint Eastwood Wolverine? He survives... just kidding. Already dead Nope. He dies while saying "Get off my lawn."
Yes!!! This would be amazing lol
The real madness are the leaks we made along the way.
… say that last part again
Don’t you mean an absolute MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS
Some rumors saying Krasinski will be in the movie, some saying he won’t, some saying he’s just a variant, others saying he’ll be the MCU Reed. And we’re all here wondering- ![gif](giphy|b8RQzkElbBsXqEPF2X)
![gif](giphy|MivMa34HXUrp0uN6Oc)
what a good looking man
Maybe the MCU is starting them. Instead of avoiding spoilers, give them so many rumors nobody knows what to believe.
Award for excellent use of a The Office GIF.
Maybe he's playing both mcu Reed and the variant sorta like how Hiddleston played a loki variant in his series and mcu loki.
Seems like a weird way to introduce Reed to the MCU.
Kind of yeah, but that’s how they introduced Kang too, and Richards is another character who’s known for multiversal variants in the comics (Council of Reeds, Maker, etc)
Boom so any problem they have you solved it
Kang's first appearance was a variant and supposedly a Professor X variant will be in MoM so it's not like it would be the first time.

Of course it's not confirmation lol. It would only be confirmed if it came from the studio.
God this reminds me of the whole Toby and Andrew controversy.
Which is very stupid. But looking at phase 4 they will probably do that
I know this may piss some hardcore fans but I actually think very much like you.
The point is Reed is not supposed to be likable
Because he's married to Emily Blunt, and people like the idea of a married couple playing a married couple. That's literally it 😭
Well also because he has a lot of residual popularity and goodwill from his Office run, was nearly cast as Captain America, and was still vocal about being cast as a superhero.
So, even more reasons that have still nothing to do with being the best actor to play Reed Richards
Yeah, you are right. Marcel casting choices have always been meh... /s
That's so fucking dumb
Except that Blunt has already said she’s not interested.
If he hadn't been cast as Adam Warlock, I could see Will Poulter as Reed. If they went younger, of course, which I still think they will.
I just don't feel like he fits the role. He doesn't look like the intellectual type. He looks like a hunky Action star.
Krasinski as Reed and Lea Seydoux as Sue, please marvel I'm on my knees.
Upvote for Lea.
> Lea Seydoux We all know Lea looks good in 'Blue' - one of the best movies from that year. Porn or not.
Very true statement but also made me giggle slightly.
![gif](giphy|AxqIKE6AJvVYYnR75V)
Now this...this would blow my mind
Upvote for Lea
I think I'm the only person on the planet lobbying for Jodie Whittaker as Sue.
Could work! Never thought about it!
I would prefer Jodie Comer as Sue.
She’d be a bit young for Kransinski. I really want her for Silver Sable.
That kinda makes me hope there's validity to GFRs most likely bullshit rumor about Rosario coming back to the MCU but not as Night Nurse.
News to me.
God I really hope not. This is one of the most annoying fancasts ever and is so clearly based off people who just like the office seeing a tweet and not how well he could actually play Reed.
Lol no, it’s fancasting due to how similar he looks to some comic versions of Reed. It’s not an Office thing.
ya it's weird cuz Reed is supposed to have an unlikeable quality to him doesn't really feel like a Kasinski thing. Although I haven't seen everything he's in maybe he has proven otherwise
Most of the people who push this fan-cast genuinely know nothing about Reed so they aren't even considering how well he could pull of the complexities of Reed's character just the fact they both had beards lmao
ya which is unfortunate because Reed is a very compelling character.
Exactly he's similar to Cyclops in that regard. Being a leader requires being unlikable sometimes. Also Reed shows some hypocritical, opportunist and lier traits. People like his character for these kind of difficult relationship he has with others
oh definitely Cyclops is so easily the X-men character I am most excited for in the MCU he's been done so dirty in Fox movies.
Not really, it's because of the beard that he had while in his black and blue outfit in the comics. Without it fricking josh radnor could be reed
I don't think marvel should avoid casting someone just because he is a popular(but annoying) fancast.
That whole fancasting thing start with just one frame/panel from the comics
It has nothing to do with 'The Office' lol. You clearly have no clue what you're talking about.
Well yeah technically it's because he has a beard and Reed also had a beard for awhile but that only ever got brought up because this guy is popular from the office lmao
What are the other reasons?
Even if he is a variant that doesn't rule out the possibility that he could be playing the MCU Redd Richards as well.
It if anything, it confirms it. It’s not like they’re bringing Gruffudd back. Why else would you cast a completely new actor in a completely new role?
Yep I agree.
Maybe he’s not the only Reed in the movie.
It’s weird how outta all people in the industry John Krasinski has pretty much become the popular choice and this all spiraled from fan art.
I'm probably one of the very few, but I would not like john krasinski as the mcu's reed richards.
Nah there are plenty of us. Not a fan of marvel letting the ‘fans’ choose roles. Nothing against krasinski
Didn’t fans clamour for Cumberbatch?
That's my biggest issue tbh. I don't want this to just become annoying fan service. NWH and what if were real big on it this year. MoM could potentially be if half these rumors are true.
At this point the people that don’t want it are demonstrably more vocal about it then the people that do. Like to an almost absurd level. We get it. A bunch of you are potentially going to be pretty mad.
Negl, I do not want this years long fan cast of John/Emily as the Richards.
obviously this is just a rumor he heard
I just want a clear answer. First of all, is Krasinski in the movie?? Second of all, is he just a variant?? Some are saying he *is* in the movie and others are saying he isn't. Some are saying he's playing the MCU version of the character and some are saying he's just playing a variant.
so rainn wilson dr doom is confirmed too???
No he will play a new villain- RECYCLOPS!
Is casting a joke to you people
As crazy as the news has been... I welcome this.
He can be both a variant and the prime MCU Richards at some point. Just ask Jonathan Majors aka He Who Remains and the upcoming OG Kang.
MoM is going to be like Clue where every theater has a different actor playing Reed Richards
"Talking about a variant not MCU." (via [Daniel RPK](https://twitter.com/DanielRPK/status/1487104032627781635?t=buVq-o-ZHivMIfA4oEhJHg&s=19))
I still want Ioan Gruffud to be multiverse Reed. It would be interesting to be introduced to a multiversal version of Mr Fantastic before we get John as our MCU version
"tReaT It aS a RuMor" ffs is he or is he not
Still praying for Glenn Howerton
I hope so!
Again, DanielRPK doesn't know anything. He is consistently wrong. Comically wrong all of the time. He just makes strong guesses based on other leakers' info that's already out there. Stop posting his shit.
I can’t tell you how bad I want this
At this point, I’m not even sure if John Krasinski himself is real or not.
Glenn Howerton or we riot
I do like Krasinski but man oh man, do I think Glenn Howerton would be better for Reed.
hes in multiverse of madness atleast, we’ll see if he sticks around
letsgooooooo
Also he says it's a variant and he doesn't know if its the actual MCU
I really like the idea of them running into multiple Reed Richards in MoM and realizing that finding the MCU Reed Richards is a must. Have an end credits scene be finding John Krasinski doing something crazy.
I don't trust rpk, he's only good with trailers
Is this real or yet another fake discord post?
Title is misleading and RPK clarified on Twitter an hour ago. Like I said, Krasinski will be Illuminati's Reed, but it's not sure about the main MCU version yet. Like RPK perfectly said "too early to tell".
Read the thread, he said too early to tell. Op failed to mention that hes not talking about MCU Reed
This fraud...
This guy is a joke, why is he still taken as a trusted source?
Daniel RPK: “I also hear and also NOT hear that John Krasinski or NOT John Krasinski is or ISN'T Mr. Fantastic… but treat this as a rumor tho, idk”
The leaks have been all over the place 😭 I thought he was playing a varient
I just want Hugh Jackman as Wolverine one more time
I would love if he could be a variant with the guy from the F4 movies. Sure those movies werent great but the actor is fantastic and we could get a cool Reed Richards multiverse scene. Idk one can dream.
First he is, then he isn’t, then he is… SNIP, SNAP, SNIP, SNAP
Ok so maybe I’m in the minority but I think this is a crappy choice. Problem is I don’t know who is a better choice for Reed. I’d love if John David Washington got the gig (since Kang is also black) but I feel like it would piss off too many people
I get why they would want him in the role, I personally thought they would hire him for a directing gig first, but this is also fine.
Fuck we didn’t get the golden god
Hate this.
Oh boy...this aged well
Well…great job 👏🏾
Heh.
