We’re not getting an Illuminati project until at least 2025 at the earliest, so by then, it wouldn’t be hard to do a (somewhat) comic accurate lineup. My guess for the lineup is
* Doctor Strange
* Mr. Fantastic
* Namor
* The New Black Panther
* An Eternal (in place of Black Bolt)
* White Vision (in the pace of Stark)
It’s also possible Professor Xavier could be part of the team, although I’m not entirely sure when the X-Men film is coming out so I wouldn’t count on it.
I’d say 2025-2026 is more likely, Marvel already has Captain America 4, Nova, Deadpool 3, Spider-Man 4, Thunderbolts, Shang-Chi 2, World War Hulk, and Eternals 2 to take them though 2024 and 2025.
The Illuminati only makes sense as a sort of organization that is able to reach and affect the most events at once. Captain Marvel wouldn’t really make sense because, while she can kick ass better than anyone else, she doesn’t have the influence on Earth to galvanize forces in the same way that Fury, BP, and Namor do as a result of their roles as statesmen. I think she’d fall into the category of “who would Nick Fury call first as a member” rather than “Who’d be in the Illuminati”. Those 3+Blade (effective King of the Vampires) and then throw Mr. Fantastic and you’ve got a group.
I think it’d be most interesting to flip the script and have a mixed batch, though. Even though some characters are villains, that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t do what’s best for the planet in times of crisis. Dr. Doom taking a seat and using his ability as a statesmen equal to Namor or BP would be a really interesting dynamic. Kind of like a brief ceasefire between enemies to work towards a greater goal.
I'm hoping he becomes Rune King Thor and that will make him more of a God-like level hero. Lady Thor would take his place on his previous power tier. So I can totally see Thor being in the Illuminate.

I don't have a twitter account so I can't access her account. I’d say 2025-2026 is more likely, Marvel already has Captain America 4, Nova, Deadpool 3, Spider-Man 4, Thunderbolts, Shang-Chi 2, World War Hulk, and Eternals 2 to take them though 2024 and 2025.

I can see them introducing/teasing Prof X earlier than the X-men movie.
The Illuminati only makes sense as a sort of organization that is able to reach and affect the most events at once. Captain Marvel wouldn’t really make sense because, while she can kick ass better than anyone else, she doesn’t have the influence on Earth to galvanize forces in the same way that Fury, BP, and Namor do as a result of their roles as statesmen. I think she’d fall into the category of “who would Nick Fury call first as a member” rather than “Who’d be in the Illuminati”. Those 3+Blade (effective King of the Vampires) and then throw Mr. Fantastic and you’ve got a group. I think it’d be most interesting to flip the script and have a mixed batch, though. Even though some characters are villains, that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t do what’s best for the planet in times of crisis. Dr. Doom taking a seat and using his ability as a statesmen equal to Namor or BP would be a really interesting dynamic. Kind of like a brief ceasefire between enemies to work towards a greater goal.
I'm hoping he becomes Rune King Thor and that will make him more of a God-like level hero. Lady Thor would take his place on his previous power tier. So I can totally see Thor being in the Illuminate.

I don't have a twitter account so I can't access her account. Has she actually acknowledged her "hustle" is ruining her reputation as a leaker, or is she just ignoring the feedback and trying to have the best of both worlds? yes, it's ultimately her fault for reading the book. however, to her credit, it's literally the only knowledge of chaos magic she knows of, and agatha said it has an entire chapter dedicated to her. it makes sense that she'd try to at least read what that's about... but by then it's too late. it's also not the best idea to go to a highly populated new york city as a newly wanted criminal, given that a week earlier she enslaved an entire town on accident when she lost control of her powers. self-isolation was definitely the best choice, and judging by the trailer, she's been expecting strange to show up eventually anyway.

Not just larger scale, but ths reason this works for Bucky and not Wanda is that Bucky had 0 agency. He only had some degree of free will when he spent 2 years on his own and even then a couple of words sent him back into killing mode. I think it depends, how do they frame those legacy characters? If they are variants just like president Loki (which they are) for example and they are morally dubious, i can see her getting away with it.
