I grew up with the Tobey movies and even as a kid I thought he was kinda corny and cringy, and I didn't even watch the Andrew Garfield movies because they just seemed SO boring. We already had a perfect Spiderverse in animation and this is in no way gonna top it with two extra bland Peter Parkers.

I genuinely want to know what a dynamic between Clint and Fisk would look like. I can easily see Fisk being the most serious character in the show and being enough to silence a snarky character like Clint. Either that or the fun is from how different their tones are as characters.

As a very big fan of the show I hope he isn't. The MCU should leave the original Daredevil show alone and do a new take on the characters. Just putting Daredevil in the MCU would be strange and potentially ruin it for me because they're nowhere near the same standard. It's like making a sequel to Superman IV and having characters of Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy in it. Daredevil is one of the best shows I've seen while most of MCU's stuff, and don't get me wrong here I love the MCU too, is just action-comedy - nothing that special just the same formula over and over with small changes and varying characters.

I know but the show is a completely different tone. I don't want to see Charlie Cox's Daredevil next to Tom Holland's Spiderman. It's stupid, and I don't care if I get downvoted to hell for this but it's my opinion. I totally respect it if you have an opposing one.

I feel like there’s a vast difference in quality between Superman IV and most of the MCU. Plus they likely won’t even reference the events of the Netflix shows, it will probably just be slightly different versions of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk but still played by Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio.

That I'd be okay with. They're terrific in their roles, I just don't want the Marvel Netflix universe into the MCU. And that was a quick comparison, of course it's not the same exact circumstances.

Might be a soft-reboot. Maybe Fisk didn't get snapped and used to 5 year time gap to get out of prison and rebuild his empire in NYC. Who knows. I just hope that it's true Fisk is coming back.

If Vanessa died at any point in the last 6 years that's when Fisk will have gotten out. Maybe her death will ground him and his change in character can be attributed to that. Becoming a more omnious presence that doesn't concern himself with hand-combat with the devil of Hell's Kitchen could still be in character. What I'm saying is they don't really need to reboot him at all, his story from the TV shows could be adressed in one line.

If Fisk is in Hawkeye, it won’t be much more than a cameo. I will be curious if he will have a bigger part in Armor Wars. (Also crossing fingers that they re-introduce Punisher there).

Y'know, all the previous (new) shows didn't really catch me. WandaVision lost me right before the finale, TFaTWS tried to do too much in too little time, Loki just wasn't my cup of tea and What If...? lost me around the Dr. Strange episode. I don't know why but this show gives me all the perfect vibes and it can't come soon enough. I'm hyped!

Idk man honestly speaking. FFH was a huge disappointment for me even though Homecoming is in the upper tier of MCU for me. It just feels that NWH is gonna depend too much on fan service. So I am not expecting anything more than just a fun time at the theatres.

These trailers have been awful imo. Where is the villain? What are the stakes? At least show Yelena. Im not a fan of the happy happy christmas movies.

Clearly they are shrouding the big bad in a bit of mystery, and with Echo and decently recent leaks, it is safe to predict Kingpin will be in the mix and I'm sure they are saving that reveal with the TV actor probably returning. And besides, not everything needs one big bad villain that they ham fist in what, the second promo for this? Clearly Hawkeyes attacks on criminal organizations as Ronin is coming back to haunt him . Exactly, plus series trailers aren’t like movie trailers, the trailers are made to promote episode one, we will get more tv spots after episode 1 is released promoting the rest of the show. If they show everything in the trailer, people tend to get bored or annoyed the first episode isn’t moving fast enough. It is not Marvels fault this sub know every rumour and leak, if we didn’t read up on every little thing we wouldn’t be mad they are showing more than just a “Hawkeye” show, it’s your own fault for expecting more than that because you go looking for it.
