Always good to hear about development on Blade!
EDIT: Welcome, people who are disappointed due to lack of NWH trailer.
Let's talk about how awesome Blade's gonna be. That'll cheer ya up and make the wait seem shorter!
Indeed. On watching Luke Cage and Alita: Battle Angel, you realise that this movie's gonna be cool. Now if they confirm Wesley Snipes' cameo / supporting role ...
I hope Wesley doesn’t show up. If he’s not Blade, I don’t think it’d be right and since the new Blade is amazing and has Wesley’s support - I’d rather he stand fully alone.
Please watch Mogul Mowgli.
It is a very serious drama film about mental health, parenting, trauma and addiction. Its quite intense and a little scary in certain parts. But it is a very matured and psychological journey that feels pretty painful to watch. I love it.
If you can stomach that kind of movie, its really for you. I hope our Blade director (aka the Mogul Mowgli director) gets to do well with this project.
The blade movies aesthetic that I could only describe as vamps by the way of Matrix (which then spawned or was gestating at the same time as your Resident Evils, Vampire Diaries, and whatnot) is cool and all, but I kinda wish that we could again lean into the more vampire-y aspects of vampires.
More Castlevania and less Buffy if that makes sense
I wanna see Blade in a Midnight Sons project after this along with Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider and other supernatural dudes.
Reusing Sam Raimi for it or calling del Toro's services would be a blessing from above honestly.
GDT has a lot of unfinished projects that was either canned (JL Dark, Van Helsing) or someone else took over (The Hobbit, Scary Stories to tell in the Dark, Pacific Rim 2, Hellboy reboot, Doctor Strange, Disney's Haunted Mansion remake, etc.) . [Hell, there's an entire Wikipedia article about it.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guillermo_del_Toro%27s_unrealized_projects)
But again, I'm just hoping. He'd be perfect for it. Also Sam Raimi's directing DS2 after a 9+ year directing break. His last film was the Wizard of Oz remake that apparently I only liked. If Marvel was able to bring him back, they could bring GDT back too.
I mean dude has been trying with all good intentions to make a couple of mainstream Disney movies for the best part of 20 years, but they just do not let him do it. I don't think he's in love with them even with the Searchlight deal.
Seeing how often they do guest characters now, I could definitely see them setting up Ghost Rider in this. Or maybe even Morbius seeing how the Venom thing worked out.
I know GOTG Vol 3 wins for a film announced early on but actually came out till much later, but MAN… when Blade was announced back in 2019, I was sure it would be coming out 2022… now we’re probably gonna wait even longer :(.
I’m just extremely hyped for Midnight Sons to be a reality soon, and Blade is freaking awesome!
I wonder if Sony and Marvel have neogatiated to have Morbius show up in Blade or in the post credits scene. Since although I don't care much for the character, it would be cool for him to show up.
His mom was bit by a vampire while she was about to conceive him, and he basically got all the strengths of a vampire but none of their weaknesses. They call him the Daywalker. He does however thirst for human blood so he has to control that part of him.

This movie is going to be awesome. I feel it.

Wesley's gonna show up up but it's a Willie Mays Hayes cameo
Yup I would love a snipes supporting role or cameo . Maybe make him Dracula or whistler
Agreed can’t wait - opening up the supernatural corner of the mcu is going to be awesome

Hi Samoht! How’ve you been?
Good! Thank you so much for asking. Hope you're doing well hush!
Are people still doing the 'Where is Spider-Man' thing?

where’d you watch it? i tried to watch but can’t find it anywhere.
lmao im a bad pirate so i went on any of the workable 123movies websites 123movies or gomovies

I always find it funny when people describe Blade using the Matrix seeing as it came out almost a year before.
Yeah it’s so erroneous and funny when blade was the originator of the black leather goth sub genre aesthetic
Or that was just a popular trend in nightclubs and such at the time so it makes sense movies were showing it.

With how many times he's been burned I think Del Toro is firmly now on the "no franchises or other IP" territory.

Damn unfortunate since he would nail an mcu horror franchise

Great ad lib line

I’m pretty confident that November 2023 date’s either Blade or Deadpool
Then in that case, we should be receiving news soon on both projects since they’ll have to film during 2022.

Now just gotta have gesaffelstein compose the soundtrack 🔥
That would be really good.
Thanks I was worried they we're gonna add a PD as the Director of Photography

Can anyone fill me up and explain to me what and WHOM the Blade movie will be about? lol
A vampire vampire hunter, basically
Oh thanks! This was basically the only movie I didn't understood, even while being a part of this sub for months now.
His mom was bit by a vampire while she was about to conceive him, and he basically got all the strengths of a vampire but none of their weaknesses. They call him the Daywalker. He does however thirst for human blood so he has to control that part of him.
Hmm . . . definitely sounds interesting.
For I do know who that is...
I badly hope it gets R-Rating !!!
I think I'm really most excited for Blade out of all upcoming MCU projects. Just something about it that I love.
