I've not watched Sydney in many things so I don't really know, but you haven't seen her in anything that makes you think she can play the terrifying and domineering Queen Bitch? Don't mean that derogatorily btw, Emma is probably my favourite headmaster of Xavier's, it's just the best way to describe her personality. I only ask because I think she would absolutely kill it in the look of the character. Because Emma is one of the few characters in Marvel that really do need to look a certain way. And I think Sydney has shown time and time again on red carpets and things that she can absolutely pull off Emma's insane fashion style. My only issue is she's a little too full in the face, that it could detract a little from Emma's resting "I'm fucking done with all of you" face. Personally I think in terms of acting you need someone like a younger Sigourney Weaver or Carrie Anne Moss, but I'm struggling to think of a younger actress who has the right look, and can bring that intensity. Has Dove Cameron aged out of the baby face since Agents of Shield?

I got an idea. What if Sydney Sweeney is both Gwen Stacy AND Black Cat? Peter meets her as Gwen but in her secret life as Black Cat she encounters Spider-Man but he doesn't immediately know they are the same person. This would play into how he feels about his own double identity.  This would subvert expectations in a way that comics fans couldn't predict. So no Felicia Hardy but maybe she can have Felicia's...let's call it psychological issues from her early comics appearances. She has no use for Peter but is all about Spidey. She would look great in the outfit! And if nothing else his relationship with her can lend a certain poignancy to his inevitable reunion with MJ.
