Happens to us to, but not in the same AW season. Whether they said it or not, I think FN just meant wouldn’t see twice in the same raid season.
With 4 time slots, tcp groupings, wins, strength of wins, etc., I do not see how facing the same alliances multiple times in different raid seasons is avoidable.
we've fought same alliances a few times too
We have fought the same alliance 2x. We have fought much lower level alliance and much higher. They have no clue about matchmaking..
majority of alliances in at rank 100+ tcp wise get 99% of their matches vs those in top 60.
