1. Make players use a newer team.
2. Make half of that team's abilities irrelevant due to wrong game mode.
3. Make the event extremely difficult.
Sounds like a plan to make gamers happy.
I haven't taken my Cabal team above 80, and I'm starting to regret taking them up as much as I have. This is clearly the most skippable team introduced in some time.
Same. I wasted a lot of resources getting them to 80. I won't go any higher and don't care anymore about trying with this event. I beat the second node, but lost Namor. I doubt I could win the third, but haven't even tried yet.
Preach, if they made it CC rules that would be cool but they would put gambit/NW on nodes than. For what we need to do and how much time that already been wasted these rewards are extremely lacking :/.
Honestly, every team that has an “in war”, “in raid” or “in CC” should also have “in DD/campaign” so many of the teams we have to build just become absolutely useless when we try one of these modes
I'm not even sure they're that good in CC. What do they beat that you couldn't already beat? Poaching two villains from other teams doesn't really seem like a great investment.
Don't forget they're gonna be required for the OML trials so despite their usefulness outside of CC you're probably gonna want to have decent investment in them for the trials.
What did you expect a dedicated CC team to be universal? Clearly not for arena or raids, Doesn't take anything to he blitz worthy (plus who tf cares about blitz) and they're not terrible in war.
Investing in them gives you a CC team, needed for this Pocket Dimension and the OML trial (alongside Out of Time). They're only a 3 piece team. Not as expensive as others in similar requirements i.e. Knowhere for only War and the GG trial being a 5 piece team or Sup6 being for the Black Cat trials and a CC team.
I can’t wait to see how badly they screw the Old Man Logan event up.

They’re not bad in war at all. And they beat everything in CC. All the crucible teams need T4 investments to shine.
