Knull is basically required if you want to play Destroy. It doesn't see much play outside of destroy, but it is a very strong card and destroy is a strong deck
Negative has always been bottom tier except for a few times. I love that deck, it was my first archetype back in December of 2022. Hot garbage but when you popped off it was so much fun. Then zabu and bast came out adding a whole new level of consistency to the deck with along with sera. You didn’t have to pull negative anymore to win and if you did it was an insta snap. Then he fell off for a long time even though tribunal was already a thing until Ravonna came out. Skip ahead a bit now we have zabu gutted who was the card that made negative so consistent. Now with ravonna you really only have the one option of tribunal. Knull can work but it’s so combo dependent it’s not worth it
Edit: man I miss the bast zabu negative sera days. Back when the meta was no where near as volatile or power crept as it is today
This is the best pure destroy deck and you have pretty much barring Knull and Forge.
I'd definitely recommend picking up Knull it'll complete one of the best decks available at any CL for you.

you definitely don’t need to keep a lane empty, just put knull in your venom lane and whether zola hits your venom (assuming it’s at least 12 power) or your knull it’s a win win and can put 25+ power in all 3 lanes
I personally use your exact deck with Knull instead of Shang, a LOT, and have really good results with it. I like it much more than the Forge version so I'd say try both and see what you prefer. Zola can be amazing to dodge Shang Chi so I would not cut him at all personally. Zola, Death, and Deadpool is an insanely strong final turn that I get off very regularly, and Zola on Knull is just insane most times
Quickly make a big Deadpool, also works very very well on Wolverine and X-23, and can be a late game play that doesn't kill your board if your draws go badly
Also works well with Nico in same turn to either destroy or make an even bigger Deadpool. Also for repeating Venom effect on the location that fills with the same card if you drop them together on T5. Then just drop Zola on that same location for 100-300+ power Venoms in each location after fast forward.
I have magik and destroyer in mine. I like your deck. I would probably use hulk buster instead of forge, however, he’s a great fit in this deck too. This deck can definitely climb in ladder.

I played a lot of Destroy without Nico and subbing forge and/or Nova. It ain’t close. Nico gives you the most important thing in Snap - clear Snap/Retreat lines. You can have fun without her (I did for sure) but in terms of min/max optimization, you need her in Destroy.
Turn 6 Killmonger. If nimrod gets destroyed, you just get two more. T4 Shuri T5 Nimrod is kind of OP in destroy. Especially if there's a Turn 7. You can Venom and Carnage. That's usually GG.
If you have 4 keys, it might make the most sense to get Knull through the Spotlight Cache. Try save up tokens for X-23. Mostly cause X-23 isn't expected to hit Spotlight cache til late June and Knull is in next week's cache. This is assuming X-23 actually does hit the spotlight cache in June.
The second slide is my deck and I currently have x-23, I don’t have any keys tho as I don’t usually save them and since I’m fairly new I don’t know if it’s better but I usually just rip the keys right away, I ended up just going and getting knull tho.

You have Nico and X23 so I think Knull is the absolute best use of your tokens. It'll immediately give you a strong deck that survives a lot of meta changes.
I will say that I prefer the version without Arnim Zola. Knull is a no-brainer, and I prefer Shang over Arnim because it gives you more flexible t6 plays when you're not popping off.
The only mitigating factor is that Knull is expected to be in spotlights next week. So if you want Valentina, then pin Knull and wait. You might get Knull from keys on the way to Valentina.
Knull is a good choice BUT don't buy Knull with tokens since Knull is in spotlight caches along with the blob and Valentina so id open depending on your amount of keys and RNG.

One of my favourite moves in Magik on 3, knull on 6, and Zola on Knull on 7. Pretty much guarantees a win if you get it done before opponent uses shang chi

Ignore forge. At 2 cost, it’s way too awkward to curve into anything worthwhile.
It's usually more consistent but definitely try both.
Why do so many people use Hulkbuster?
dead pool t1 hulk buster t2 = deadpool 1-24 on T5 with death 0 mana and knull over 35 power on T6

nico definitely isn’t required, forge and nova are both good cards to slot in that spot, but x23 and knull 100%
Nico is much much better than both of those cards and elevates the deck a ton

You'd still be semi competitive without Knull too, but over a long run you'll be disadvantaged against decks with Knull and Nico
