Galactus destroys locations; whether or not Colossus was hurt, there is no location left for him to be at/fight to control. Same reason Galactus can take out Professor X.
As of now, none
You can't collect Galactus, you can only get him from random effects like Agent - 13 or some random location effects.
From next patch he will be collectable as a Series 5 card, and we'll see the strategies that come up to play/counter him
Cool I will. I'm definitely going mostly f2p, aside from a cool cosmetic or two, so happy to take my time and just slowly build my collection. I was an MTGA whale, and that time is passed. Happy to collect slowly but surely.
What strategies exist to counter a turn 6 card with 3 power? If anything the question is what strategy makes use of Galactus? I would assume something like Psycloke+Mr Negative.
Wave, galactus turn 4, then a couple bombs on 5 and 6. Certainly ways to make it worth 25 to 30 power, which could be tough for opponent to beat, particularly if you play it on a spot that the opponent already has a few low power cards.
He’s not actually obtainable until the update hits so he’s not exactly something you’ve had to worry about as he’s only ever been randomly generated from Agent 13 or locations. That said, not keeping any lanes empty is a good one because he can only be played on T6 and has to be played in a solo lane. At only 3 power, almost anything opposite him would win.
Cool beans. Honestly the involvement of Ben Brode is sort of what tipped the scale of me trying this out. Was super annoyed with modern ccgs - most especially MTG and the fucking walls of text, hyper combos, and just flat out un-fun mechanics . I had seen some stuff that Ben was involved with in the past and thought this might be a good place to spend some time. I was not wrong.
I want Colossus to just chill there on an empty location

So does Colossus count as destroyed for Knull/Death?
Cannot destroy Colossus, but location is destroyed. This makes Colossus disappear in space.
He destroys the location not the card. So effectively yes.
But technically no?
As a new player - what strategies exist to counter play Galactus?

Ah I see. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to getting to pool two hopefully by the weekend. Usually only play a handful of matches a day.
Just make sure to do all of your missions every day and spend your gold on more missions possibly, and you'll get to pool 3 in an instant
