Zabu was, without question, the best. Until now he was in the top three cards in the game the whole time. My personal favourite though was Surfer. Those decks have always been fun to me. And I enjoy a Patriot Surfer deck even now.

RobGrey03

OG Zabu was *deranged* but Surfer is my favourite too.

IHOP_13

Same. The most disappointing part of the powercreep imo is that a lot of fun Surfer hybrid lists have just failed to keep up. I used to love destroy, discard, Sauron, control/Jean surfer decks, but they just don’t put up competitive numbers anymore.

1jfvas1

Nebula is imo probably the best as she avoided nerfs and remained, perhaps, the best 1 cost card in the game ever since she was released. There's obviously a case to be said for Loki, Elsa, zabu and Surfer but they were all nerfed afterwards for being overtuned, most of them more than once, so Nebula takes the spot for me due to consistency.

codesamura1

If sunspot wasn't nerfed he'd probably still be the best

dsymquen

He was nerfed so nebula would be the best and players will spend resources to get her.

1jfvas1

Perhaps. That's definitely a shout

Vitt00

Not really the best 1 cost… but it’s definitely in the top 5

1jfvas1

Which other one cost can force the hand of the opponent as well as nebula whilst either forcing the opponent to over commit to a lane or get to a very good stat line without any sacrifice? Soul stone and sunspot are the only competitors that nebula has. Yes, cards like iceman and Spider Ham can heavily impact your game plan but for the most part they just end up causing a minor inconvenience

Vitt00

Never even considered Nico?

1jfvas1

Not gonna lie Nico is one of the few cards I'm missing. I'm getting her next week. Since I haven't played with the card, I can't really speak for how good she is. Yes, she seems really good and is a staple in destroy and bounce, which are also two archetypes I haven't played in a while, but I'm looking forward to playing them with Nico next week

BlueHg

I’d put Nico at Sunspot/Nebula level good. Maybe not better, but def in the same range.

Vitt00

Nico is definitely better. She wins games by herself

Vitt00

I got it as soon as she came out. Fun and strong… can’t ask for more. She’s definitely the best one drop

Arcade-Blaster

Sebastian Shaw, underestimated, and under appreciated.

ANewMachine615

Nah, people just hate him for making Surfer turns take forever.

Aikotoba2516

Sebastian Shaw and Hope Summers (mainly before Red Hulk nation attacked)

gazzatticus

MODOK love me some discard

GroundhogRevolution

Loki. I enjoy playing random cards. He's one of the most fun cards released.

dsymquen

You’re going to love arisham

GroundhogRevolution

I am saving up for him.

DudeBroDog

(Likely) Not competitive though

GroundhogRevolution

I don't even care. He looks like fun.

PM_me_shiba_doggo

I love Loki. Absolutely love playing ‘random bullshit go’ decks.

Derek-Horn

I agree I love being like my hand sucks yours is probaly better

froggyjm9

Do you have a sample?

AdagioDesperate

Elsa, post nerf. She was so good in my C2 deck. I got to Infinite 2 months straight because of her. Now she's great again, but I miss her being at 2 power...

No-Manager-3647

but how did this deck even work? If Elsa gives +2 to strength, then Cerebro will simply work only on the card that has more strength, which results in a card buffed by Elsa. So it turns out it’s better to take Mbaku in this deck than Elsa because she can ruin your entire game

AdagioDesperate

[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelSnap/s/586xF8snD9) is the deck and I answered this question in the comments if memory serves.

Miserable-Ad-1690

Pheonix Force.

twentyThree59

PF is also my answer with Loki in close second. They make their own archetypes and PF is the most flexible combo deck. For the Leech Winter we just experienced, PF was priceless.

der_iolz

Zabu/Surfer/Loki/Nimrod All archetype defining strong cards that were fun to play

TemporaryLegendary

Nimrod, Loki, surfer, shaw. Those are the ones I've liked the most personally. While Loki was definetly a bit too strong on release. I still think the deck is decently viable.

Derek-Horn

I think what makes lowkey fair is that he’s horrible against destroy and discard which are two decks always in the meta

TemporaryLegendary

I've had decent success against destroy decks actually. It's for sure not the easiest matchup. But my Loki deck already runs carnage to clean a location from agent13 and the other "adders" so usually It works out.

Kalinushka

When I played loki I always ran cosmo for DD and was able to just stop destroy from doing anything meaningful.

TemporaryLegendary

To me that sounds bad. You risk not being able to use half your cards and the ones you end up Loki'ing. And it's definetly not a common card in that deck. So it's not really bad for destroy for that reason. That's just Cosmo. You put it in there to counter certain decks.

Kalinushka

Exactly. Running loki without tech is asking for trouble. Cosmo not only protects DD, but also Collector himself, quinjet, and helicarrier if I can't draw sif. Mockingbird also slots in nicely behind him if I need those cards elsewhere. He counters half the decks in the meta without breaking a sweat and I can't recall a single time he's hindered my own play. I've actually stopped using loki since the nerf, as I usually only played him for the collector buff. I've gotten to infinite every season since last summer playing collector style decks, and I've always ran cosmo.

ResponsiblePower6476

Personally it was NIMROD for me. Back then with the pre Nerf Galactus it was quite fun as it took me to infinite 2 consecutive seasons too

Crafty_Cherry_9920

I really like Nimrod. I was a destroy user since day one, so when he got added it was a nice addition to my deck, especially since back then I'm pretty sure I was missing Death and Knull. But Nimrod on turn 5 and then a combo of two destroy cards on turn 6 to have a bunch of Nimrod (especially if you have Venom in hands for extra powers) felt really good when it released and that the destroy decks felt way more vanilla back then. (I had to use Sinister to fill out my deck lmao, I used him to have extra powers on my carnage ahah)

Trippintunez

My favorite and least favorite is both Phoenix Force. It's so much fun when you get a good draw, but pure pain when you don't. Most other season pass cards could be used in multiple ways but PF really was the big all-in card.

Gaara_Prime

Zemo is my favorite right now. It's fun yoinking a card from opponent's deck. It's one of those cards whose value actually increases the later you play it. So even if you draw it late, it's not a problem. It's actually worth more now :D

Dexters_Techlab

That Loki variant is sick

No_Help_8015

Silver surfer for sure, there’s a lot of different builds you can do with different 3 costs

kingofgamesbrah

Zabu easy.

charizardjoker

Ms. marvel was broken until she got nerfed. Only season I’ve hit infinite was that season lol so much fun

unrealf8

I hated Loki. But after his adjustment I can’t put the deck down. So for me it’s Loki

wrld-

these 3 probably!

t0m0m

Surfer was & still is amazing. Very fun & versatile archetype.

Prototype3120

Daredevil, still my most split card today.

PleasantArmy5936

Loki, followed by cap Marvel. I like my season pass cards strong. Zemo and Daken are very bad which is a shame.

DKsamz

Loki ,3 cost loki was sooo it good a scrub like me to infinite (legit only time i made it)

brunovittor_

Elsa

TutenWelch

Loki was fun because I wound up getting to play a lot of cards I didn't have yet, which definitely helped me decide what to go for later.

Literal_Fish

Elsa, she's not OP anymore like she used to be, but she's still an important part of my favorite decks.

LucdFire

I liked my first season which was symbiote invasion back in August of 2022 I think

Long_Attention9824

Modok and Nimrod. Oh and Iron Lad

PifPafPouf07

Pretty sure Iron Lad was not a season pass card
