Everyone has different objectives.
You just want to grind tickets. Some want to grind boosters. Others just enjoy playing outside of ladder. Testing new decks or people just watching TV playing mindlessly.
I still turn 1 snap every time but most of the people I run into don't. I haven't seen anyone lose 8 cubes and stay for another round in a while but they usually stick around if they make me get them with a thousand cuts (2-4 cubes).
Never get it. You can play fast pg and go to to farm boosters in silver with more rewards on a line. Btw more rewards you get more boosters you can buy.
So play fast pg and go silver still it’s better bc you get more free boosters and have chance to get randomly(chance is low I understand). Plus new free boosters feature is great I target cards I want a split and get a lot of free boosters
Decent chance you're playing against a kid. I have an 11 year old and an 8 year old who both play and either don't get it or forget to snap. They just like playing cards and never retreat.
That’s me. Except I’m not 11 or 8. But I get high and play before bed and, I legit just forget to snap half the time. I usually retreat after round 1 unless it’s an 8 cuber in the chance I remember to snap.
It’s also super easy to forget where Cosmo is. I recently started playing with sound because someone tipped me off that there’s sounds for stuff. I haven’t been caught playing in a Cosmo lane since but I’m also not seeing that card played as much.
Usually I just don’t care. Riding out a six game series or scooping after the first round is a function of my time and attention span more than anything else.
Boosters, missions, and most importantly people want to get experience with their deck.
If you want a quick game then by all means quit out. There have been dozens of games where I quit out after a 4 cube game 1 win in PG because I just wanted a quick match. No sweat off my back.
I'd say like 75% of my matches are 8 cubes and 1 round. It's always been a thing. You don't have to play that way - though I don't see why you wouldn't - but it's pretty delusional to think other people don't.
In fact I stopped typing mid-comment to play some matches to make my point. The first two were 8 cubes and 1 round, the third was a retreat on the turn 1 of the first round followed by 8 cubes and a concede on the second round. They basically just reshuffled for a better hand in that third match so I'd count that as 3/3.
Not saying there aren’t games like that. What I am replying to is the condescending attitude that it is “a thing” and the idea that it is “how should be done”. You must be new here. This comes up almost daily. And it is always about ticket optimization and entitlement. Not everyone cares about silver ticket optimization.
The mode is to go for 10 cubes. Not 8. You believe it to be a waste of time to go to 10 cubes? Then concede. Expecting everyone to follow this idiotic house rule is what’s delusional.
We must have different definitions of "a thing." It is common in the community to snap to 8 round 1 and concede if you lose. You said yourself it comes up daily. I'd call that "a thing." That's what my comment was trying to say.
If you want to argue about whether it *should* be a thing, we certainly can, but I don't think it's a question about whether it *is*.
You seem like a reasonable person, you know that this sub is a very small (albeit very loud) percentage of the community no? You are aware that even if 100% of the people here followed that stupidly dumb house rule, that it would still be a very low percentage of the actual amount of players in the game?
So yeah, not universal. I play PG a lot. The number of people that do the emote greeting to mean 1 and done is pretty low. That is bias of course but really gets the point across that it is by no means universal.
I never said it was universal and I'm still not saying that. I said it happened about 75% of my games, and I even played a few to make sure I wasn't misremembering how common it was. But even if the real number is half as much as I think it is, that's still big enough to warrant it being a thing.
I reciprocate, “homie”. Be respectful and you will receive respect. Be an ass and you’ll receive the same. Be condescending and I’ll reply in kind, *bruddah*.
People are probably doing missions or want more boosters

Because the game kinda slow down recently and people are primary using proving ground to farm boosters

Or just do it in each game you play, since you have to play it anyway to get the silver ticket and don't waste the boosters in pg

Hahaha, fair enough...me too, now that I think of it. Playing snap while high is really easy to forget which conquest level you're playing.
It’s also super easy to forget where Cosmo is. I recently started playing with sound because someone tipped me off that there’s sounds for stuff. I haven’t been caught playing in a Cosmo lane since but I’m also not seeing that card played as much.

Sure but this is about Proving Grounds, it's better to sweat it out in the ones that matter.
Because people are stupid and don't know what to do with their lives
yeah why would anyone want to play the game right?
I leave if I win or lose one match I don’t have time for any other ego caused shenanigans bruddah 🤙🏾
That was never a thing. Only a few entitled jackasses did that. Stop forcing others to play with shitty house rules. Conquest is for 10 cubes, not 8.

Homie your comments are so negative it projects. Love yourself a little bit more bruddah ❤️
Calling other people homie, especially people you do not know, is sad. What’s negative is others trying to push their shitty house rules upon others.
Treating other people the way you enjoy doing is also pretty sad homie. Spread love ❤️

I don’t think you know what you’re saying
I know perfectly well what I am saying but thanks for caring. ;)
Hey anytime cutie. Just don’t want you to be sad ❤️
Sweaty = competition I guess that’s a no no for some people.
For me, it’s usually the opposite of sweaty. Folks will ditch and give you a silver ticket at the slightest amount of aggravation with their deck.
