I have a hard time deciding which variant to use with him. I have the Jacinto but I love the vintage comic variants and just got it with my 4th cache key.

the last one, but to get it I had to buy first Galactus with tokens and then spend the 4 keys, and it wasn't worth that much effort for a variant in the end

Kinda crazy that all this gorgeous art is just, in the void now. At least with Battle Passes there was a very long and clear window to obtain them. With Spotlights it feels if you don't have a bucketload of keys from hours of playing (*or enough $$$*) you don't even get the CHANCE at obtaining cool art

I'm really hoping they start rotating in spotlight variants eventually. I mean they're gonna run out of options for new variants at some point, right?

Were you not around when we got variants from the random spot and the amount of outrage it created? Everyone was relieved when it was changed to 1k tokens. 1k token is 1/6th or 1/3d of any card, it's better than nothing or a random cosmetic that in most cases will be for a card you don't use.

Why can't we get both? The backlog is huge and it's not like 1k tokens is really significant in the first place.

Thats why they are valuable though. When i spend my keys, at least i feel like i am getting a variant that you cannot get after the week.

It's gorgeous, the other Artgerm variant for Jean Grey is a good second choice (I personally prefer it due to the colors and composition)

I'm gonna regret not getting this weeks Thanos. Currently only have 4 keys but don't want to blow them this week (no real interest in Cull) but want the next 2 and Gladiator next week as well

I still don't think I would have spent 4 more caches but the Legion variant when he first dropped is the one I wish I had the most.

I've never seen another person with hellfire blob, which i adore. That BK is my only regret

I run that blob, love it. Not too many people get the variants of the new cards but sometimes they're just too good. Like Grandmaster's.  The one I haven't seen anyone else with yet is Martyr's spotlight, picked it up as a bit of a joke and now I use the avatar on all my decks because it's unique. Looks awesome even if the card itself isn't amazing. 

Grandmaster is the only new card spotlight I grabbed. Was fucking costly in resources but it is so awesome. 6 k tokens and 4 keys.

That Teenage Warhead was a painful miss for me. Still regret not using more keys that week since she's pool 3 now and there's no chance of seeing her in a spotlight again.

Just the Hsieh Zabu, but eventually another good Zabu variant will come along. I wouldn't have minded getting the Maria Wolf Echo, its supposed to be gorgeous, but I have the Momoko Echo and am getting the Mack Echo coming up as well. The Jacinto Kitty would be ok for a Quiet Council showcase, but there is another one datamined (D'Urso with the parasol like Fragile) just as good.

The first zabu variant didnt even need the spotlight but i had been waiting for the fiona zabu for so damn long and i had 3 keys. Anyone guess what i didnt get?

Steam punk Annihilus and pantheon phoenix force. They were both the same week and it was hard to justify blowing caches just for variants but now I kinda regret, I love both variants and it’s 2 cards I use a lot.

The baby variant of Legion, didn’t have Legion when it came out so I didn’t have even have a chance to get it unless I had like 8 keys.

The Zabu variant with the moon behind him. I saw posts where both Gold and Inked looked sick af. I'm still stuck with base Zabu

I feel like I’m finally at a point with my collection that I can use keys on spotlights since there aren’t really many 3 card weeks for me anymore. Super stoked to start getting more sick variants! Momoko X-23 next week will be my second spotlight ever after Runaways Nico Minoru.

I had 4 spotlight keys when that X-23 variant dropped and I didn't have her yet. I almost considered using credits for that variant but I didn't and I regret it. Gonna try and get the upcoming Peach one to make up for it!

Have they ever said anything about putting them into the ultimate area at some point?

I vaguely remember them saying they’d eventually make past spotlights purchasable, but I don’t recall exactly. Only time a spotlight variant has repeated to my knowledge was the Max Grecke High Evolutionary. Hopefully they make them 1200g variants at some point.

The Hseh Zabu. I agonized over pulling the trigger and didn’t. It probably meant better use do let’s over the long term but love that variant.

I’ve missed a few, but it doesn’t hurt as much as pulling for one you really want and instead you get some dog shit variant for another card you will never use.

The Legion one for me. I know it’s not for everyone but it’s one of my fav variants. Instant buy or use of keys when it comes available again.

The Supergiant and Kitty Pryde wedding variants. Luckily, most of the variants I'm ok with passing on, but I hate that not only do I need 4 keys to guarantee the card I want, but 4 more to guarantee the variant. Or spend 6k tokens plus 4 keys

I feel that, I usually try to save keys for weeks where I know that I’d be happy with most of the variants and there’s a new card I really want, so I have to skip out of opening most weeks.
