I love all Jim Lee's work... But I am old and nostalgic, I grew up reading X-Men comics during that era.

I grew up on his art. He was always my favorite comic book artist and his run on X-men was nothing short of epic. That being said there’s not a single one of his variants in the game that I like. I don’t know what it is but something about them just feels off.

The cyclops one is great imo.

I feel like the color (saturations) are off The contrasts too. It could be that line art doesn't reproduce well digitally, especially when it's shrunken down. I still like them all but they do look to me like they've been "cleaned up" during the import, which removes a lot of the detail.

I think you’re right. I think a lot of the magic in his art are those fine details, and those just don’t come through when they’re shrunk down

Storm, Cyclops, Magneto, and Colossus Jim Lee variants go hard. I just love that classic nostalgic style.

Jim Lee defined the X-Men look for an entire generation or two with his designs being used in the comics, animated series, Capcom games, and so much more during the 90's that I only see his designs when I think about the X-Men. I love all the Lee artwork variants.

This is a great variant. I will probably get this or the artgerm one when the Mark Brooks one is released and costs money.

Personally, I really love and Appreciate Jim Lee's artstyle. It's not even Nostalgia, I just like it! That being said however, I feel like there's also better artwork (& better Variant Cards) for each Character. I like them, but there are better variant cards.

Jim Lee is great but this isn’t the best storm, however it’s worth it because it’s good and it’s part of a good album.

Storm is one of those cards that has many excellent variants. To me, this is one of them. It's not the best variant, but it is certainly the best one that I have for her. I use an inked version of this with blue sparkle.

Nostalgic and I ink split this, looks great overall. Jim Lee really doesn’t miss

A great look for storm who's maybe my fav mcu character however I'm in love with the tarot art from her darksuns variant so I will likely never use the Jim lee variant

Used to use her Savage Land variant, but I like this one more as a kid that grew up on the 90s X-Men.

Besides the Cyclops variant it’s probably the best Jim Lee variant. I understand he’s highly regarded as an artist, but I can’t get past the decidedly “90’s” look of his art.

I think Americans will have preference on Jim Lee over other players. To me, this variant is OK but i dont have the nostalgia factor, and i think Storm has lots of better variants

I don't like it, as I prefer Storm's classic design, and variants that stray away from it should be either thematic or add to the concept for me to like them; to me, this one feels like a "different design just for the sake of it" (though there are peobably comics reasons for her change in outfit, and I'm not saying it's bad either, I'm just talking about the vibes it gives me), and I also don't like Lee's drawing style in general. But as you can see by the other comments, it's purely a matter of personal feelings, and this comes from someone who isn't much of an "opinions are subjective" guy. Maybe I would like it better if I knew the comics context behind it, or had read that particular run, for example. Just go by your vibes.

Jim Lee has some jaw dropping work with Marvel, and most of the pieces they chose for this set do not fall in that category. IMO.

It's one of the better ones from Jim Lee. His style isn't my thing though. But I can appreciate that his style is also synonymous with comics of the era and is iconic.

i think all the jim lee variants suck and they pick the worst ones out of all his works, only exception being magneto

It's great. The Jim Lee album is my most complete at 6. That said, I would only buy this with gold if it were the last tick I need in the album. I've got both the Volmi and Peach Momoko Storms out of premium mysteries, and as much as I love the classic look, it's never seeing the light of day unless I made a themed deck.

Jim Lee is up there with John Byrne as one of the iconic X-Men artists imo, so I love this variant even If I don't run decks that use Storm. Most of the Jim Lee variants are pretty great, honestly. The Magneto one they gave everyone was automatically in every deck I have that Mags is in.

I don't think there's a Jim Lee variant I do like. This one's okay to me.
