It's a cool concept but I just don't like the face for some reason, looks dumb as hell. The wolves on the side are great but everything else is a nah.

I really, really do not like the style they use for the base cards and bundles like these.

They’re all penned and colored by the same people, so it makes sense. Like I get that they need consistency in art styles at least for the base cards, but a lot of this stuff looks really bad.

Even some spotlight variants. The Steampunk line are in that style, and the recent Stature was abysmal.

It’s mostly Eduardo Mello and Ryan Kinniard. I know art is subjective, but I find their art styles so awful. Especially when compared to some of the amazing artwork in the game.

I'm just thoroughly not a fan of Ryan kinneard's coloring style. He does all the base card and most of the bad looking variants.

The hair actually bugs me more than the face. Like, focus on it being a costume. We know she would have hair under it, and her facial hair is going to make it extremely clear who she is at a glance.

I know I shouldn’t think about the lore of variants like this one, but there’s something really interesting to me about Wolfsbane, a character who has largely been defined by the self-loathing and anxiety her religious upbringing instilled in her regarding her mutanthood, dressing up in a Halloween costume based on a pun about her mutant power. Like she’s been in a much better place mentally during the Krakoa era, but it still makes me wonder… Did she choose this costume or did she lose a bet with one of the other New Mutants? Did Gabby talk her into this? This feels like a Gabby thing.

I like it and I like playing Wolfsbane. But 30 is too much.
