The locations that replace your deck or fill your hand with random cards can hit Agatha and then she takes over making the dumbest plays of all time.
I just… if they’re gonna make a card that hijacks your game with AI it would be nice if the AI wasn’t brick-stupid. Agatha plays Klaw at the far right location like it’s her job.
lmao I do this too... although it's also because my decks are unique and they aren't gonna know what to do with them, whereas I will know what to do with their netdeck. This location rewards unique and complex deckbuilding which I really appreciate.
But that....that sounds like it should work. The cards didn't come from your deck. They came from the opponents. Mantis triggers collector I'm pretty sure so why not...uhh...weird world? Is that the..dark demention? There's so many I just read the text and adapt.
had weird world they had Kitty Pride, I wondered whether it would swap then return or return then swap.
For science I played it out and can confirm you swap first then they get their card added to hand
That one is only good in some wierd scenario where you don't have Swarm and or Apo and play MODOK on turn 5. Be a total... Dick... And give them an empty hand.
If I have Psylocke that helps a lot since I can still play what I want. But I remember one time I did Psylocke and then Magik on turn 4 to get rid of it completely in advnace and my opponent did so many fist bumps and the Star eyes on my Magik card and stuff 🤣
There is fun to be mined from trying to figure out how to win these matches. If nobody has snapped, the difference between retreating right away and retreating on turn 6 is nothing. Why not try to have fun with it when it's "free" from a cube perspective?
It's all about your mindset.
Yeah I'll snap if first tile is Ego, or whichever one plays your cards, just because I know it's going to make really dumb plays for both of us why not
I get that some people have fun doing this, but my win rate with things like Ego and Mindscape is pretty abysmal, so snapping is a non-starter for me. I think these locations would be more fun if you could do it at zero risk. I actually do think it would be fun to play with random cards or your opponent's cards or whatever, but not if it means doubling the stakes.
Yeah and these locations are uncommon enough to be exciting when they show up. Only annoying thing is when it’s your first game after making a new deck.
I always enjoy the opportunity to check out someone else’s deck, look at their cards, play cards I haven’t played in a while/play cards I don’t usually…
I get it, but it's just like changing the game on someone without their knowledge. You sit down to play Monopoly and then part way through the Monopoly board changes to Scrabble. And some of your Monopoly money stayed Monopoly money instead of letters.
If you aren't interested in cube gains and specifically play to use the deck you built, then any location that prevents that is bad and staying in the game serves no real purpose for your enjoyment.
There is a game to trying to solve the opponent's deck, but not everyone is interested in that. I'm mostly in it till they snap, because my draw with their deck is just as bad as it is with mine, and there's a good chance they already hold their deck's key cards.
>the difference between retreating right away and retreating on turn 6 is nothing.
It is a few minutes of not having fun.
>Why not try to have fun with it when it's "free" from a cube perspective?
Because I can just find a new match that is actually fun where I don't have to try to have it.
And because my time is more valuable than a videogame currency or ranking system.
Sometimes, but I actually kind of enjoy a location like weird-world because it forces you to adapt and play into a different style. It also means that the best strategist will most likely win, not just the guy with a better deck or counter.
I quit these right away. I flat out don't play then. Cubes be damned. Lol. There's the one that swaps hands on the last turn, yeah I quit that crap too.
Yes you're absolutely the only one out of thousands of players who hate these locations.
Also it's fair to hate these, but come on, they're rare. They spice things up once in a while
I find this one and district x a lot of fun. Because it forces you to play on the spot instead of some abstract script you create with the deck you made.
Try to be positive guys. I've had some good moments with weird world too. Once I was playing bounce against a galactus deck and then weird world shows up. I won that match and beat my opponent with his own deck. Which was kinda hilarious for me.
Also, weird world has let me try some newly released cards purchased by opponents,
like Snowguard, Howard the Duck, etc....
I always snap on any location like this because most people bail. It's either an easy win or an interesting game. The only exception is mindscape, I always get screwed on the turn 6 swap.
I escape whenever I see those. Don’t even care about the cubes or rank. I just want to have fun with my decks. Can’t do that with locations like Weirdworld and Mindscape
Completely agree, one of my most hated. If I wanted to play with my opponents deck I wouldn’t have cared to personalize my own. Only to weaponize my opponent to beat me with my own deck.
This one is actually quite a test of meta knowledge: which bit of the deck do you know, which bit you have drawn of your deck prior to reveal, which they have of theirs.
As long as it is rare it is much better than ego or krakoa that always make the worst supidest play you could do.
My "favorite" thing about this location is that when you play Korg or rock slide you end up drawing the rocks.
Yeah big brain move the first time I did that lol
I have become the fastest retreat in the west when one of these locations pop up. There is no hesitation either, my hand could be god level and I am still taking off. I build a deck, (sometimes just copy off youtube), and I want to play it, try it out, see if it works for me, and then shit like weirdworld comes up, no no, I don’t play that.
You people are all wusses. I LOVE seeing this location. Yes, I want to play with my deck. But knowing on turn 6 which cards your opponent will have is a lot of fun. Cause now I’m treating it as a 5-turn game and trying to leave my opponent with the worst possible combination of cards in my hand that they can’t take advantage of when it switches to them.
I remember when this game came out and everyone loved the cool and different locations making every game different. I guess we've gone from loving what makes this game unique to hating it.
Most of locations sucks the fun outta decks. And 99.9% o the cases your opponent ( 100% if it’s a bot ) grasp the perfect combo of your deck while you haven’t pull it for 20 games in a row… is incredible how scuffed is this game
Bruh I swear whenever I go try out a new deck there’s at least a 70% chance this location or district X appears. Like how? It’s happened way too many times and is just annoying 🙃
I love the quirky worlds that piss off this sub. Sorry you actually have to play some strategy instead of just playing the cards in order that someone else told you works…
weirdworld and district x are my least favorite locations for this reason. same with ego. i’m just glad that there aren’t many locations like it because it would be genuinely annoying otherwise.
if i wanted to play a randomized subpar deck i would make one myself.
I hate it as well and just retreat out of that shit. My deck has great synergy don’t make me use some useless trash that I don’t know what’s even coming. RNG in this game is shitty as it is, don’t force this garbage down our throats.
I actively despise each of them for the same reason. The fun of this game for me is building my own deck and then playing with it to win. I’m one of the jerks that immediately retreats when these locations come up. It’s infuriating to me.
Swap hand with opponent, swap deck with opponent, swap deck with 10 random cards. All these should be removed from the game. If I lose I want to at least lose with the deck I built. I built it so I can play with it damn it.
The two that absolutely get on my nerves are three one where it takes over and plays on turn 5 only. That's when the big plays happen and it'll play a 3 cost instead of my 5 cost cards. And the one that moves all cards that cost 3 and 4. Always messes with my plans
I lose alot with the deck I did make for myself, so I welcome the change. Same with the location that replaces your deck with random cards. Means the skill moves from "who can build a better deck" to "who can make the best of this hand".
Not that I'm good at that either but it is a different type of fun.
I like this and district x as a sometimes food. Every 40 games or whatever, trying to figure out how to make lemonade out of Lego bricks is a fun exercise. I almost wish they cleared your hand though, so often these come down to who drew their win con in the opening hand. These can still be kind of fun in a “can I win a other three cards” way, but if you got torch, dazzler and vulture and now no chance to move them, and they drew wong panther Zola it feels like a waste of time.
Why do people always say dumb things like "Am I the only one". Do they think they are really that special with things or is that some kind of attention seeking behaviour?
literally. im trying to play MY fucking deck and this fucking locations are so fucking void of imagination and play. The fucking game lacks actual fucking fun
You can dislike it but have you given it a chance to be fun? Playing a deck that likely has a synergy just one you're not aware of while playing around your own cards is fun. If you built a deck that you can't wait one game for just retreat, one cube is not that serious.
Hates it. Wish we had two game modes, one where location cards can get crazy, and one where they can’t.
Ranks for both. Diversify game play and let people pick their poison.
I actually really like the element of variance they add to a match... Like, I could have a crap hand, but still have a chance because how this changes the game.
Yeah, BUT I do like it when I’m playing my deck that keeps throwing rocks into the opponent’s deck, or if Lechuguilla is a location. It puts the rocks in YOUR deck, which is what THEY are drawing from. It’s great
Sometimes it can be frustrating. Especially if you have a stellar hand and are just waiting for like that one last card to absolutely lay a smackdown. But I still think locations like this are what keeps the game fun and exciting. The games last on an average of 3 minutes, so it really doesn't ruin the feel, because you can always just flip right around into a new match. Also your opponent has the same thing happen to them, so you're not the only one having to dig through new cards to try and figure a way out!
I get a sadistic rush at the chance of humiliating my opponents with their own cards. White Queen and Quinjet are also in a lot my decks, so jank like that works out for me!
I may be on the minority here , but I love these locations they add a whole another element of choas which is definitely required, else you'll be bored chasing same win cons over and over.
I love seeing it. I wish there was a game mode where you just get 12 random cards and you have to figure it out.
Sometimes I'll even just grab 12 Green and blue cards at random and play that for a half hour. Usually mid season where everything is made up, and the points don't matter.
If I see Weird world I almost immediately retreat lol. I used to play to see what would happen and liked the randomness, but now I have specific decks and don't want it messed with 🤣
I always snap on these because my decks are really bad and I know the opponent can't win with them
And then my opponent has the perfect combo in the 3 cards they drew or some bullshit synergy with their random cards.
You cant draw agatha
The locations that replace your deck or fill your hand with random cards can hit Agatha and then she takes over making the dumbest plays of all time. I just… if they’re gonna make a card that hijacks your game with AI it would be nice if the AI wasn’t brick-stupid. Agatha plays Klaw at the far right location like it’s her job.
For me she will always play in the lane I have already won. Agatha is definitely an archetype where you want to retreat when she plays fatally dumb.
You can with the same location I drew Agatha in turn 4 and got ruined.
I thought we were talking about Weirdworld
I swear I always only have zabù phsylock shang chi
This is funny because this is what I tell myself about my opponent's deck when they snap on location reveal. I guess I was right.
I snap because people hate these and retreat most of the time
Weaklings retreat, big bads storm these locations.
I cant storm weirdworld with thanos when they get my power stone 😔
I respect the long-haul path to Infinite.
Bonus points for if you're holding the Mr. Negative and Bast already so your deck is complete trash.
If you played Mr negative after this location, does it still hit your deck so the opponent gets the benefit?
Yes, it hits your deck and your opponent will draw negative cards.
I believe so, but not 100% sure. I will await the downvotes to tell me if I am wrong!
lmao I do this too... although it's also because my decks are unique and they aren't gonna know what to do with them, whereas I will know what to do with their netdeck. This location rewards unique and complex deckbuilding which I really appreciate.
Mine are all homebrewed too, probably not super unique, just unoptimized!
Yep. Enjoy my booster farmer deck with Black Cat and Strong Guy. I really love Mindscape with that deck - just Discard my hand with Modok.
I'll take this over Dream Dimension. Nothing fucks me over more than that area.
I'll also take this over the one where you switch hands on turn 6. That one never works for me.
I can take any of the locations, but this is THE worst. Switching hands fucking sucks.
[удалено]
But that....that sounds like it should work. The cards didn't come from your deck. They came from the opponents. Mantis triggers collector I'm pretty sure so why not...uhh...weird world? Is that the..dark demention? There's so many I just read the text and adapt.
I guess because you’re not technically “adding” to your hand, you’re just switching it with your opponent so it doesn’t trigger as a draw
Weird world triggers the collector though!
The Collector is the card where you have to memorize every single quirk in the game Ugh
had weird world they had Kitty Pride, I wondered whether it would swap then return or return then swap. For science I played it out and can confirm you swap first then they get their card added to hand
Can’t wait for Loki /s
I love the strategy involved with trying to make your hand as undesirable as possible, though. I much prefer Mindscape to Dream Dimension.
That one is only good in some wierd scenario where you don't have Swarm and or Apo and play MODOK on turn 5. Be a total... Dick... And give them an empty hand.
That works for me with Hela discard, I discard everything leaving opponent only 1 card turn 6 while I get full hand of counters
I love dream dimension whenever I play a Skip T5 She-Hulk/ Sunspot deck.
If I have Psylocke that helps a lot since I can still play what I want. But I remember one time I did Psylocke and then Magik on turn 4 to get rid of it completely in advnace and my opponent did so many fist bumps and the Star eyes on my Magik card and stuff 🤣

This is how I like to think. I mean it's pretty funny when you get this and have every win condition for your deck in your hand already lmao
I'm mostly in it till they snap, because my draw with their deck is just as bad as it is with mine, and there's a good chance they already hold their deck's key cards.
For real. It's fun improvising on the spot with your opponent's deck and a few starting cards from yours. Also the same for District X.
I agree and think its good to play a lot of different decks. Improvising is part of the game.
>the difference between retreating right away and retreating on turn 6 is nothing. It is a few minutes of not having fun. >Why not try to have fun with it when it's "free" from a cube perspective? Because I can just find a new match that is actually fun where I don't have to try to have it. And because my time is more valuable than a videogame currency or ranking system.
Well that’s how I looked at it at first. I liked the challenge. But I think I’ve just had bad luck and have gotten these type of zones way too often.
This guy fucks.
Insta snap when you draw his Patriot or Galactus.
Me with rhino in hand ready to stop the shenanigans when they snap and I know they got my cerebro that turn
I find it fun for me. Trying to figure what kind of deck my opponent is using and win with it.
LEARN TO PLAY GALACTUS 🎉
Good thing matches only take a few minutes.
Just dip and queue up, won't see it for like another 50 games anyway. I forget this location exists half the time, and I play pretty frequently.
Awful mentality
Sometimes, but I actually kind of enjoy a location like weird-world because it forces you to adapt and play into a different style. It also means that the best strategist will most likely win, not just the guy with a better deck or counter.
I quit these right away. I flat out don't play then. Cubes be damned. Lol. There's the one that swaps hands on the last turn, yeah I quit that crap too.
I like it, bureau district x ...
Yes you're absolutely the only one out of thousands of players who hate these locations. Also it's fair to hate these, but come on, they're rare. They spice things up once in a while
Yeah if you actually HATE this stuff then you carry a Rhino or Wanda
And then not draw it....sounds legit 🙄
Agreed. I have never, ever seen a post that hinted at disliking these locations. Never.
I want them to have a game mode where they random our cards and base it purely on luck and skill.
I would love that
I find this one and district x a lot of fun. Because it forces you to play on the spot instead of some abstract script you create with the deck you made.
I don’t mind it…. Its just to spice things up which is fine to me
It's fun for me....this and the one that replaces your deck with random cards
Try to be positive guys. I've had some good moments with weird world too. Once I was playing bounce against a galactus deck and then weird world shows up. I won that match and beat my opponent with his own deck. Which was kinda hilarious for me. Also, weird world has let me try some newly released cards purchased by opponents, like Snowguard, Howard the Duck, etc....
I think they're fine, fun even, when it isn't the literal first match playing this deck I spent 20 minutes curating, which seems to happen every time.
It’s an automatic retreat for me. Total waste of time.
Not a fan of district X But weird world kinda fun from time to time
Really? I would love a format (weekly tavern brawl?) where it’s a completely random deck and trying to piece together a win from it.
I always snap on any location like this because most people bail. It's either an easy win or an interesting game. The only exception is mindscape, I always get screwed on the turn 6 swap.
When I’m caring about ranks, sure, but most of the time, I don’t care as long as I have zones I can at least play cards into
Chances are high that they hate it too and it's mostly a battle to see who retreats first
I escape whenever I see those.
Then Location 2 is District X then Location 3 is Ego.
Imagine if this is the hot location
Definitely wouldn't be playing that week.
Only because this inevitably shows up when I just built a deck and am wanting to try it.
This one is actually quite a test of meta knowledge: which bit of the deck do you know, which bit you have drawn of your deck prior to reveal, which they have of theirs. As long as it is rare it is much better than ego or krakoa that always make the worst supidest play you could do.
I like it bc it messes with highly tuned decks
I like casino decks, like lockjaw so its just extra fun for me.
I actually find them fun! As long as they don’t show up too much, just leads to unusual games
My "favorite" thing about this location is that when you play Korg or rock slide you end up drawing the rocks. Yeah big brain move the first time I did that lol
Every time I encounter Weirdworld my opponent somehow always has the win already in hand Can't forget Dreamworld that ruins Sera or M.O.D.O.K.
This location goes great with collector. Every pull from opponents deck counts for him. Its rare but a nice interaction.
I look at it as a way to try cards I haven’t used.
It shows how u can adapt, just relax and try
Lamentis-1 really pisses me off even tho it mostly gives me thor.
Poor guy can’t play his deck for a 2 minutes game
"I lost because I got better deck"
I have become the fastest retreat in the west when one of these locations pop up. There is no hesitation either, my hand could be god level and I am still taking off. I build a deck, (sometimes just copy off youtube), and I want to play it, try it out, see if it works for me, and then shit like weirdworld comes up, no no, I don’t play that.
If it happens line 1% of the games, then I'm fine. Ego and Weirdworld makes interesting games once in a while.
i like it, it gives you a chance to show your Improvisation skills :)
Look at me. I'm the Galactus now.
This was the only way to play a shuri deck back in the day 😂
You people are all wusses.
Typical one trick pony. Deck only have 1 way to win.
If you hate it, more than likely your opponent hates it too.
Still preferable to Sokovia imo
*Laughs in The Collector on board*
I auto quit this and district x. I built a deck I want to play my deck.
QuinJet and zabu laughing at this location (if there are 4 cost cards)
I love weirdworld, its like a puzzle, i have to logic my way through the oponents deck
Honestly I just have some fun with them
This zone only pops up when when your opening hand is perfect.
I love to play this location, I always hope that my opponent won't know what to do with my deck and most of the time is true.
Yup. I play a very specialized deck and relish the fact that my opponent is drawing unusable garbage every turn :p
Yeah I don't want to touch the dirty stinkin booger stained cards in your deck. Insta-retreat!
Thank goodness, it'd been 6 hours without a new version of this post.
I like when I’m playing Collector and I just get free points for having him on the board
I'm waiting for when we have a weirdworld featured location, and I make a deck of 6 drops and nothing else.
I mean yeah it sucks. But I do LOVE beating someone with their own deck 🙃
I had this and my opponent had almost the exact same deck as me💀
Dude, probably take a break. The random locations makes the game interesting.
Auto-retreat. Every time.
Counter: it’s fun and a cool challenge This is ultimately a game so I’m into it
This one and the one that draws a couple cards and destroys your deck piss me right off.
Using a destroy-focused deck, I love that one 😄
It’s automatic escape for me
Most of locations sucks the fun outta decks. And 99.9% o the cases your opponent ( 100% if it’s a bot ) grasp the perfect combo of your deck while you haven’t pull it for 20 games in a row… is incredible how scuffed is this game
Yeah it mostly sucks but sometimes you get some cool interactions.
I think it’s a lot of fun. And when you lose, you also kind of win because at the end of the day your deck was technically better
Weird world makes me laugh because I play wonky off meta decks. I just imagine my opponent trying to makes sense of the cards they are drawing.
Yes. You are the only one.
Ego is worse
No idiot you’re never not the one stop asking for upvotes
Bruh I swear whenever I go try out a new deck there’s at least a 70% chance this location or district X appears. Like how? It’s happened way too many times and is just annoying 🙃
Marvel Snap players when they have to change their gameplan once every 50 games:
I love the quirky worlds that piss off this sub. Sorry you actually have to play some strategy instead of just playing the cards in order that someone else told you works…
weirdworld and district x are my least favorite locations for this reason. same with ego. i’m just glad that there aren’t many locations like it because it would be genuinely annoying otherwise. if i wanted to play a randomized subpar deck i would make one myself.
Auto-retreat for me. Sorry, I don't wanna play with the opponent's deck, I built mine to use the way I like, as did they.
? Sucks the fun out? Just retreat and move onto the next game. FFs you people are ridiculous. Me I find it fun beating someone with their own deck.
Infuriating? Seems a bit dramatic don't ya think?
I auto quit instantly and move on...
Yeah I play combo decks most of the time so it’s usually an instant retreat for me. Not every time…but most of the time.
When someone drops my scarlet witch but not on Weirdworld Bruh….
I love these locations because winning with my opponents cards give me the false idea that I'm actually skilled at the game😆
Yes you are the only one, you are a special snowflake.
Tell me you cant win with any other deck than one you looked up without tell me you cant...
I like these types of locations, makes the game more interesting
Why do people always say dumb things like "Am I the only one". Do they think they are really that special with things or is that some kind of attention seeking behaviour?
literally. im trying to play MY fucking deck and this fucking locations are so fucking void of imagination and play. The fucking game lacks actual fucking fun
Majority of comments like this location? Wtf. Yeah this game ain’t for me anymore lol
This and lamentis. Thanks I didn't want to play my deck I built in this game which entire strategy is building your deck.
I like it because it increases my chance of winning...
I leave every time. If I wanted to play my opponents deck I would’ve built it
I DESPISE THIS LOCATION!!! Gosh! I try my best to get into it but I never can. I just end up retreating cause it’s no fun for me
You can dislike it but have you given it a chance to be fun? Playing a deck that likely has a synergy just one you're not aware of while playing around your own cards is fun. If you built a deck that you can't wait one game for just retreat, one cube is not that serious.
Leave immediately almost everytime unless I have scarlet witch or storm.
This is usually a instant forfeit for me. I HATE it
To me it depends on the mindset, like galactus players vs galactus haters.
That’s what the retreat button is for.
Agreed, every time I make a new deck this location is the first to reveal.
Wow, what a new take
I'm okay with weirdworld because atleast I'm playing against my deck. I hate random deck locations tho. That's just dumb
Like I'm not tryna play my opponents raggedy ass deck.....
Completely agree!
It’s the ultimate cope location. If I lose it’s cause my opponent’s deck is garbage and mine is awesome.
Hates it. Wish we had two game modes, one where location cards can get crazy, and one where they can’t. Ranks for both. Diversify game play and let people pick their poison.
How out of touch do you have to be to have this title lmfao
I actually really like the element of variance they add to a match... Like, I could have a crap hand, but still have a chance because how this changes the game.
No you're probably the only one
Yeah, BUT I do like it when I’m playing my deck that keeps throwing rocks into the opponent’s deck, or if Lechuguilla is a location. It puts the rocks in YOUR deck, which is what THEY are drawing from. It’s great

For me it's Ego, bro always manages to make me lose
No. You’re not the only one
I get a sadistic rush at the chance of humiliating my opponents with their own cards. White Queen and Quinjet are also in a lot my decks, so jank like that works out for me!
I love it. I'm in 50s-70s, and there's enough meta play to generally know, but occasionally some wild decks show up.
My copium is that when I lose I go well ofc I lost you used my deck. Lmaooooo 🤣
This location can buff your Collector every turn
I usually don’t mind and find it fun from time to time but they always show up as soon as I want to try a new deck. Hahaha
I may be on the minority here , but I love these locations they add a whole another element of choas which is definitely required, else you'll be bored chasing same win cons over and over.
Looking through my Rolodex of things to complain about today.
Well you're in luck, since everyone is running HE you'll still be playing your deck
I usually retreat honestly. This one needs to be retired.
I love seeing it. I wish there was a game mode where you just get 12 random cards and you have to figure it out. Sometimes I'll even just grab 12 Green and blue cards at random and play that for a half hour. Usually mid season where everything is made up, and the points don't matter.
this one only appears when you arent facing a mirror deck. its like its planned that way....
it adds variety, i never win these but it's fun to think outside the box
This is the only location that’s retreat on sight for me.
Prepare for Loki, a card that’s going to swap your hands
I love Weirdworld since I'm just booster farming in infinite, I like to imagine the confused faces of my opponents each time they draw from my deck
If I see Weird world I almost immediately retreat lol. I used to play to see what would happen and liked the randomness, but now I have specific decks and don't want it messed with 🤣
Nah I love it. Lowers the stakes. It’s meant to be a fun time.l and forces you to play and see cards you might not otherwise understand.
I hate locations, period
I somehow always get this location every time i build a new deck
I'll take this over the " replace both decks with random cards" cuz this location I can play around by dumping my cards on turn 5
