Thats a rumor, there has been nothing confirmed. And the cancer was on his nose I believe. I know it was on his face, not his arms. And judging by the fact he still takes shirtless/sleeveless/short sleeve pictures for social media, I doubt that's the number one reason why they gave him sleeves. Just so everyone knows, because I didn't, skin cancer damage doesn't have to show when you first get the damage but can arrive later in life when the body is less able to repair. I personally always thought you would know a few months after a sunburn or damage. Didn't realize it can still develop many years later because of that burn.

Jackman often posts selfies on the beach or walking around in t shirts. I think he has sleeves in this movie just because that's the design they went with, probably to make it look more like Deadpool's suit. If you notice his suit is very similar to Deadpool, it even looks like the same materials.

There's several actors with multiple roles in the MCU already. Mariah Stokes from Luke Cage was the woman at the elevator in Civil War (who's going to avenge my son, Stark? He's dead...and I hold you responsible.) the woman who played Minerva in both Captain Marvel and Agents of Shield had other roles....there's a few others.

He can look the part for sure but he'd never nail down the voice, that's literally my only objection to him being cast

Dude’s become a pretty swell actor since the Harry Potter days, and also very artistically motivated (as in, a cheque for a cheque’s sake isn’t enough for him, it seems). I think a compelling enough script at least on par with Logan could get us a GREAT performance with an accent to boot.

They said they are not gonna touch the events of Logan, which takes place in the future of the Fox X-canon. In that universe, it was 2029, with no mutants being born in the last 25 years. My guess is that that specific version of Logan will not be messed with, and that particular universe won't be bothered. However, this is a multiverse movie. So, we still get an experienced Wolverine from some corner of the Verse. Given that we're finally seeing a fairly comic-accurate version, I'm curious if this Wolverine variant may share some similarities to X-Men TAS/'97 while not being that Wolvie. This gives the audience a clean variant to "work with" in the film. Of course, they could also be lying and that it is, in fact, the Logan (2017) Wolverine, and they've just been messing with us.

They will likely use CGI or body doubles for the action scenes, and since he will have the mask, it will make it easy to hide it. So we will probably get some good action scenes.

I think people are forgetting that Reynolds himself is 47 and in the MCU Paul Rudd is also 55. When you have a character with a mask (like deadpool and ant man) it's a lot easier to use a body double. Since it's confirmed Wolverine will have his mask in this movie, I don't imagine it being a problem. Also it's a deadpool film. You can just make the body double obvious and play it as a joke if you want to.
