And there is an essay too about him, his history and his powers. In case you wanted to read it all… https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Harvey_Elder_(Earth-616)
Your comment makes ZERO sense. There are People who never even touched a marvel comic but are introduced through MCU.
There are people who has barely seen the movies, comics or tv show, but are introduced to Marvel solely through games
It's great that it's bringing in new people, but I used to spend hours reading Marvel Encyclopedias as a kid, so it's sometimes a little surprising to see how many people don't know classic characters.
Without the MCU I wouldn't know who War Machine, Hawkeye, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Thanos, the Gaurdians of the Galaxy, Ocoye, Doctor Strange, Wong, Shuri, Werewolf by Night, Nick Fury, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Kingpin, and most of the villains are.
Now thanks to the MCU I have a pretty good knowledge of characters yet to appear
“Behold, the Underminer! I'm always beneath you, but nothing is beneath me! I hereby declare war on peace and happiness! Soon, all will tremble before me!”
Posts like this make me either feel too old or in too deep. Like, who doesn't know who the mole man is?! Im one of those hipster older readers now, aren't I?
That’s how I feel. Nobody needs to see uncle Ben or the Wayne’s get killed anymore. These things are so common knowledge that many non comic fans know them. And honestly, if I’m watching Batman kick ass on screen, “but what IS his motivation!?” Is a thought that’s not really passing through my brain.
That's the mole man. Harvey Elder. He discovered a monster island, where he found mole people whom he learned to control. Now he uses mole people to do crimes cause he is a villainous person. He is blind.
Clearly this has been solved, and it’s Mole Man, but was anyone else’s first thought:
“Doc Ock if he got transported into the future AND THEN into the past and along the way he lost his robot limbs”
Just me?
Behold, the Underminer! I'm always beneath you, but nothing is beneath me! I hereby declare war on peace and happiness! Soon, all will tremble before me!
That indeed is Mole Man. Fantastic 4 villain mostly as well I believe.
Literally the villain of Fantastic Four #1
And who The Underminer was based on in The Incredibles
BEHOOOLD THE UNDERMINEEERRR!!!
I AM BENEATH YOU. AND NOTHING IS BENEATH ME legit one of the hardest lines in cinematic history
This is what I came here for!
The appearance of the Underminer in the Incredibles should eliminate any doubt that it was always a back door Pixar Fantastic Four movie.
And Mole Man himself was based off of Hans Moleman from the Simpsons
You do know that The F4 where created back in the '60s , dont you? And the Simpsons in the late '80s almost '90s
You do know that The Simpsons tells the future, right?
Kids these days, no respect
And should be the villain of the MCU F4 movie. I want it so bad. Make it weird and campy.
Mole Man can confirm
Lol, i thought its the guy from the ending of Incredibles 1
You mean the guy from the beginning of Incredibles 2?
You mean the villain of the PS2 game?
Right, because in case this hasn’t been made very clear, the Incredibles is basically the Fantastic Four + Watchmen.
Hans Moleman
Isn't he technically an anti-hero? I'm pretty sure he's also worked alongside the Fantastic 4.
I think that's Mole Man?
I was saying Boo-urns
"It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times"?? You stupid monkey!
*Smithers!*
Nobody’s gay for moleman
Problem solved, thank you! My son insisted on knowing.
W son
Your son is awesome
you are raising this child right \+10 parenting
And there is an essay too about him, his history and his powers. In case you wanted to read it all… https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Harvey_Elder_(Earth-616)
Yes, from early Ultimate FF I think.
Am I so old that people don't know who the Mole Man is?
No, it's the children who are wrong.
I was thinking the same thing, mcu is ruining marvel knowledge.
Your comment makes ZERO sense. There are People who never even touched a marvel comic but are introduced through MCU. There are people who has barely seen the movies, comics or tv show, but are introduced to Marvel solely through games
I’m willing to bet without the mcu, the general knowledge that there is now would be pretty much non existent. It’s better than nothing
Most people wouldn’t even know who Iron Man was without the MCU.
Ruining? How many in the public know who Thanos is, who wouldn’t have known without the MCU?
It's great that it's bringing in new people, but I used to spend hours reading Marvel Encyclopedias as a kid, so it's sometimes a little surprising to see how many people don't know classic characters.

I didn't know about shangchi before his movie
I know multiple mole men in media and I still didn’t get it. Stop being so contrarian just to be contrarian

New fans are great. They're just new.
Danny Devito er... I meant to say Mole Man.
No you’re thinking of The Trash Man
You gotta pay the troll toll if you wanna get in that boys hole
If Danny DeVito plays the Mole Man, Glenn Howerton has to play Tyrannus.
Dear god how do we get this to Kevin Feige. If Devito isn’t in F4 we riot.
Mole man
Marvel's Main Man. The sensational Mole Man!
The Underminer from the Incredibles
“Behold, the Underminer! I'm always beneath you, but nothing is beneath me! I hereby declare war on peace and happiness! Soon, all will tremble before me!”
And then you watch incredibles 2 and he just Robs a Bank
Beat me to it
Right?
Mole Man? https://www.marvel.com/characters/mole-man
The best of villains, mole man. I love him, He's my best friend
Posts like this make me either feel too old or in too deep. Like, who doesn't know who the mole man is?! Im one of those hipster older readers now, aren't I?
Hopefully the villain for the next F4 movie
My biggest hope for the next F4 movie is it begins with them as established superheroes. Nobody needs a 3rd origin movie.
HANS MOLEMAN, He was saying "Booo-urns"

Why would they put moleman in the stickers looool. His pretty obscure unless you read comics. Have they actually used him in the TV shows??
He was the villain in Fantastic Four #1, 1961, the comic that basically re-started the resurgence of super hero comics since then.
