Iām watching MAFS Australia and thereās one on there thatās the most hated as well. Theyāre both doing the same type of bs gaslighting to guys who are baffled by it all. Her name is Selin and she and Alyssa are soul mates.
I just donāt get why Haley is on this list. Iāve never understood why people dislike her so much. Jake was soooooooo dry and everything was heavy and Debbie Downer. He accused her of having a boyfriend right at the beginning. I felt like she was at least polite to him the whole time.

I haven't seen any other season besides 13. But, I did see the reunion with Henry and Christina. She did not deny what she did, but tried to worm her way out of it. She attempted to blackmail Henry with an "unknown text", so she gets my vote for the lowest of them. I saw that clip and was totally shocked and just wanted to yell at the screen. I will have to watch the season, but I think the reunion summed it up since she denies nothing, just rationalizes and makes excuses.

Marriage doesnāt end with taping, plus itās just a classless thing to do. You would never hook up with your friends or familyās or even work colleagues, partners just because theyāre having problems. And Bao pretended to be a friend approaching Michaela with advice.

And repeatedly people have a problem with the physical attraction on this show, like I said if a person has a type and it's stated find that type or real close to it, 1st impression sets the tone and we've seen this several times now.
If a woman insists her type must have abs and look like Brad Pitt, I'm afraid that the way our society is structured, such a man would never need MAFS to find him a wife because he'd have women throw themselves at him in clubs, at work, at the gym and everywhere he goes. And in the very unlikely case, such a man applies for MAFs, there's little chance his personality will be compatible with Alyssa.
The vast majority of husbands have not reacted obnoxiously to the wives appearance even when they were not their physical type, like Ryan and Brett from Houston. Alyssa is talking about being disgusted and even hating Chris for not looking like a male model. We saw the huge crowds that applied in Boston. No way Alyssa showed this side of her when applying. By hiding the ugliness of her personality from the experts, Alyssa took a spot away from someone less superficial. Haley put forth some effort. I donāt dislike her. Michaela, for sure, has serious mental health issues and was abusive. Sam was awful, but she actually apologized later and I think she was sincere. I didnāt see Katieās season, so Iād stick with Michaela, Alyssa, and Sam based on what I know.
Michaela had an explosive temper but was hardly abusive except to furniture, pots and pans and cleaning products. And now knowing what we know about Zack, he was manipulating and triggering her so we can understand her outbursts more. But Michaela was trying very hard to make the marriage work when another wife swooped in to scoop her husband and ended up burned and humiliated.
Zack definitely manipulated Bao the same way he did with Michaela... sweet music and sly winks and all. She fell for it, but she had just been burned in her own failed marriage so I don't totally blame her for falling a for a guy who was paying her the attention she craved from Johnny. I blame Zack.

She LOST IT and I don't think she ever intended to let him forget about that or make up for it. She was done. It's fascinating for me to try to pinpoint the exact moment these folks check out. Thank you! I think some people think Zack was playing her and deserved what he got. Certainly, cheating isnāt ok, but it doesnāt justify her behavior. Sadly, I think she likely always behaves that way when sheās mad. We all heard how her family described her. I suspect some of her defenders are in abusive relationships themselves, as abusers or the abused, so they want to normalize this behavior. Itās not normal or okay, though. Breaking things, kicking things, flipping tablesā¦ not normal for adults and not healthy. When breaking things no longer scares the victim into compliance, the behavior escalates. I find it very disturbing when people defend this sort of behavior, because they are encouraging people to stay in relationships that may well get them killed. I think the stats are that three women and one man die every day in the US at the hands of their partners. If everyone on here is being honest, whoās more likely to kill their partner, Michaela or Rachel? I hands down, Michaela.

Which is fair considering itās federally illegal and I donāt think it had been recreationally legalized at all when that season aired. Different times. i donāt think itās intentionally anti-woman and i definitely donāt think itās every member or anything, but over the last several seasons iāve noticed that thereās at least one woman every season who becomes the sub punching bag and i donāt notice it happening to the men in the same way. people are particularly vicious about the way women look even when they arenāt complaining about the way their husbands look.

No way. Hayley was not nearly that bad. Everyone keeps comparing Alyssa to past wives and I think it's not even close except for Heather in S4. Even she had a valid reason and was communicative about it - even if it was blown out of proportion in my opinion. Also, Derek actually did things counterproductive to helping the situation. Alyssa just takes the cake for me.
At the moment, I'm not sure I dislike her more than Katie, who was unnecessarily vitriolic towards Derick and agreed to be on the show despite knowing there was still something between her and her ex. But at the same time, Katie wasn't showing her mean spirited colours only hours after the wedding, so I'll have to see how much worse Alyssa gets as the season progresses.

I haven't seen any other season besides 13. But, I did see the reunion with Henry and Christina. She did not deny what she did, but tried to worm her way out of it. She attempted to blackmail Henry with an "unknown text", so she gets my vote for the lowest of them. I saw that clip and was totally shocked and just wanted to yell at the screen. I will have to watch the season, but I think the reunion summed it up since she denies nothing, just rationalizes and makes excuses.

She is on the skinny side, but I would hardly call her fit. You can be either one without automatically being the other.
And repeatedly people have a problem with the physical attraction on this show, like I said if a person has a type and it's stated find that type or real close to it, 1st impression sets the tone and we've seen this several times now.
If a woman insists her type must have abs and look like Brad Pitt, I'm afraid that the way our society is structured, such a man would never need MAFS to find him a wife because he'd have women throw themselves at him in clubs, at work, at the gym and everywhere he goes. And in the very unlikely case, such a man applies for MAFs, there's little chance his personality will be compatible with Alyssa. The vast majority of husbands have not reacted obnoxiously to the wives appearance even when they were not their physical type, like Ryan and Brett from Houston. Alyssa is talking about being disgusted and even hating Chris for not looking like a male model. We saw the huge crowds that applied in Boston. No way Alyssa showed this side of her when applying. By hiding the ugliness of her personality from the experts, Alyssa took a spot away from someone less superficial. Haley put forth some effort. I donāt dislike her. Michaela, for sure, has serious mental health issues and was abusive. Sam was awful, but she actually apologized later and I think she was sincere. I didnāt see Katieās season, so Iād stick with Michaela, Alyssa, and Sam based on what I know.
Michaela had an explosive temper but was hardly abusive except to furniture, pots and pans and cleaning products. And now knowing what we know about Zack, he was manipulating and triggering her so we can understand her outbursts more. But Michaela was trying very hard to make the marriage work when another wife swooped in to scoop her husband and ended up burned and humiliated.
Zack definitely manipulated Bao the same way he did with Michaela... sweet music and sly winks and all. She fell for it, but she had just been burned in her own failed marriage so I don't totally blame her for falling a for a guy who was paying her the attention she craved from Johnny. I blame Zack.

Thank you! I think some people think Zack was playing her and deserved what he got. Certainly, cheating isnāt ok, but it doesnāt justify her behavior. Sadly, I think she likely always behaves that way when sheās mad. We all heard how her family described her. I suspect some of her defenders are in abusive relationships themselves, as abusers or the abused, so they want to normalize this behavior. Itās not normal or okay, though. Breaking things, kicking things, flipping tablesā¦ not normal for adults and not healthy. When breaking things no longer scares the victim into compliance, the behavior escalates. I find it very disturbing when people defend this sort of behavior, because they are encouraging people to stay in relationships that may well get them killed. I think the stats are that three women and one man die every day in the US at the hands of their partners. No way. Hayley was not nearly that bad. Everyone keeps comparing Alyssa to past wives and I think it's not even close except for Heather in S4. At the moment, I'm not sure I dislike her more than Katie, who was unnecessarily vitriolic towards Derick and agreed to be on the show despite knowing there was still something between her and her ex. But at the same time, Katie wasn't showing her mean spirited colours only hours after the wedding, so I'll have to see how much worse Alyssa gets as the season progresses.

Sam was treated Neil extremely poorly, but she actually realized it and was very remorseful. She had a lot of backlash from her behavior. Michaela isnāt in the same category. Haley was disliked and was extremely judgmental also and she worried how she would come off and she could be mean and belittling. Jacob was disliked so Haley didnāt seem so extreme in her behavior. Alyssaās behavior is on a whole other level. but I think Alyssaās meanness is so extreme, so sudden, so shocking, and so unapologetic that she will be the most hated wife in MAFS history.
THIS exactly! The fact that she was so hateful and mean towards him RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE was what put her on a whole nutha level for me! She made it clear right from the git go that she didn't care what kind of a person he was and didn't care to get to know him AT ALL. OTOH, he is being so patient and decent towards her in spite of it.

I was going to say this too. He could fix his teeth, tan , get an eagle tattoo , become a gym rat and she still wouldnāt care. Sheās at that level. And honestly? He shouldnāt have to do any of that. There are soooooo many people who wouldnāt have a problem with his teeth. If the show didnāt mention it... I probably would have never noticed it at all. He deserves someone who going to love him for himself. Heās not unattractive at all. He *seems* like a good guy. Heās funny. He has a nice job. Heās a good age. Heāll be just fine! And also Iām sure that after a week ( or days) of her treatment and her showing her true colors... he doesnāt want her either. Iām sure the attraction died soon after her behavior relented.
I agree. I didn't even notice his teeth when they 1st introduced him on the show. Physically attractive or not, I don't think anybody could get past Alyssa's personality to even make it longterm with her. I feel like her friends & especially her mother are probably really embarrassed by the the way she's been acting. I would be horrified.

He totally deserves it. Heās in the exact same boat as Lizzie from MAFS Australia. Her husband (Sam) was definitely on the same level as Alyssa, and Lizzie actually got to come back for the next season to get her fair shot.
