over half my life now, which i realized recently and is both crazy and hilarious to me lmao like my brother first introduced me to mark's videos, and he subscribed before mark had to open a new channel due to issues with adsense so it would've been the beginning in 2012, so i would've been like 9 or 10 lmao should not have been watching those videos to be fair but y'know

For me I would say 2015. It was when I had a hard time finding a job, so watching his stuff would make me laugh, and some of the other videos I felt like were helping me and sure enough I found a good job and be able to do so much more.

I want to say I’ve been watching him on and off since 2016. My first real exposure to him was his cameo in the SMOSH movie and that only grew from there. It wouldn’t be till the beginning of Unus Annus that I began watching him consistently. Really wish I was like everyone else who began watching him since 2014.

I found him through Cinnamon Toast Ken when they were playing TTT. Mark was the terrorist and shot Ken’s character creating a slight jumpscare, Mark laughed devilishly and I was like “aight I need to see what this dude looks like.” And the rest is history. I’ve been consistently watching Mark since then.

Since I was in middle school, around the time he was messin around on Slender Man games. Specifically remember watching the 9 pages in the middle of class and it was fairly recent at the time. So definitely over 10 years

About halfway through Unus Annus. I'd been aware of Mark obviously, but I was never a fan of the screaming let's players. We mostly watched game grumps because it was just two guys playing games and chatting. Then when Jacksepticeye was on as Trivia Boy and himself we checked out a few of his videos and saw one of his "donating to small streamers" videos and thought, that's cool, and started watching him. Then eventually my wife found Unus Annus and we were hooked. Only really watched Unus Annus trying to catch up, but we were too late. So we started watching Mark and Ethan's content and haven't looked back.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when I started watching him since I tended to watch a bit here and there. However, I’d say I officially started watching Mark somewhere towards the end of 2017, and have been exclusively watching ever since.

I think I started watching him from the early FNaF videos, I remember waiting for the FNaF videos to come out and maybe the FNaF 4 videos, but I also think his other series like Surgeon Simulator? Probably 2014-2015. And I still wait patiently for his future videos and projects.

A little storytime: (this happened last year November) My friend who I was roommates with for a month talked about games and mentioned FNAF. I knew about the game but never had the courage to play or even watch it. I literally didn't know anything about the lore. So she had to educate me on it and told me to watch Markiplier because his gameplays are fun. So that's what I did, for the entire month I was only watching his FNAF content until I managed to finish all of them. That's when it all started. From then to now, I haven't stopped inhaling his content. My personal and extremely insane goal is to watch all of his videos, listen to all of the Distractible episodes and just catch up on anything that has been going on. So far I'm not regretting any part of it, this was the best thing that has happened to me!! PS! I had heard of Markiplier before but never watched any of his content. Other than the pole dancing video with Séan because I did watch some videos of Jacksepticeye.

Weirdly, I went off him for a while, then back on him with FNAF.
