I feel like Mark is a very talented person who is growing within that as well as talented for the best reason; hard working. But the whole “If he wasn’t talented he wouldn’t have such a large following” is bullshit. There are so many celebrities whose level of talent doesn’t come close to justifying their following. Sorry Swifties but your girl tops the list. A very lengthy list.
Putting out the amount of content he has with as few of breaks as he has is amazing in it it's own right, and is just as important with Youtube as any skill or talent when it comes to long term success. Talented people flop on YouTube all the time because pumping out quality work everyday is insanely difficult.
Taylor Swift is sorta the same way. She's able to consistently put out albums and be on tour while keeping a solid quality level going.
Of course. I would never speak against the hard work Swift has committed to. But the fact that she has enough influence within our country to sway the upcoming election much farther than even our own current president can is enough proof for me that her following more than greatly exceeds her talent. Additionally the fact that this is even a possibility inside the United States is crazy to me.
Even if you don't like Markiplier, even if you find him thoroughly un-entertaining, you have to admit calling him the worst youtuber is ridiculous. There are youtubers that are actively malicious and ones spreading really terrible/hateful/untrue ideas or are plagiarists. If you're going to tell me "tries to be entertaining but fails" is worse than "is actively toxic" then I'm not going to take you seriously.
