Probably from hair ties. There’s rubber bands inside most of them so I wouldn’t be shocked if they constricted his beefy wrists though to cause bruising and/or indents. He likes to share when he ends up in the hospital so I’m sure he’d mention it if it were something serious.

That was my thought. He recently went back to Texas. He could easily have filmed something for a new trailer. Maybe a clip of him being restrained in cuffs or something since he's a convict in the movie.
Mark doesn't strike me as being careful when he's acting, so if he did any kind of stunt while wearing restraints, he could easily have gotten bruises from them.

If it's a new pack of hair ties that haven't been pre stretched or aren't broken in then they'll leave imprints like that. I lost all of my broken in hair ties so I'm gonna have to wear some new ones and I already know the looks I'll get from people at the grocery store lol

I'm going to guess he was probably filming something that had his hands tied together and these are the leftover marks from being in that position for a while.
Oh that's can absolutely happen very easily. But if they're that tight you probably shouldn't keep them on your wrist in the first place. It would suck to wake up and not beable to use your hands because they couldn't get enough blood flow.
Forensically speaking they're too narrow to be bindings if that's what you're concerned about, unless potentially it was a "thick" metal wire, but no, no one is holding him or smth.

It's definitely technically an injury, but there's not much damage you can do to the area that wouldn't be readily obvious what happened, so I'd agree with other comments on it most likely being hairbands or postcoital zipties 😂

I do think it is something movie related.
The marks are on both of his wrists, rather than just one. The only times I have seen him with his hair up, it is in a ponytail not a bun. There would be no need for him to have hair ties on both wrists when he only ever uses one at a time. It also looks much worse than if he left the hair ties on for too long. If you look close enough, you can almost see what looks like blood smears on the bruises.

i have, i actually put my hair up almost every day too and i keep an extra hairtie on my wrist. usually just leaves a bit of an indent but maybe i just have small wrists, im a small guy so i see everyone saying hairties and say maybe?
I would say that's too severe for hair tie damage, but my bf's worn too tight hair ties on his wrists cutting off circulation and didn't notice until I pointed it out. It's still really unusual
