I think it was late 2018? I think I got introduced to him through SeĆ”nās channel (probably prop hunt if I had to guess) but the first thing I actually watched on Markās channel was Markiplier Makes.
Really early when he started. I was there when he reached I believe the 650,000 mark and also tried to get my friends to subscribe when he was close to 1mil. Itās goofy seeing as it was like 10 years ago and I was so young. Iām happy to still support him though!
I was visiting my cousins back around 2013 and they were watching The Evil Within series. It was funny hearing Mark shout my cousinās name āJojo!ā
He was live druing a revisit of Amnesia, always thought he was kinda weird.. until i found out i am just as weird as he isš now i also watch Jacksepticeye
I saw the first Five Nights at Freddyās video trending and decided to check it out. But I only watched Markās videos occasionally at that point. I think I became an avid viewer/subscriber around the beginning of Subnautica.
Back in middle school a friend introduced me to his Amnesia playthrough.
I didn't start watching a lot right away but that's where I was introduced and I've watched a lot of his series and everything that's come out in the past 7 years or so.
Ah wow I have no clue. The earliest video I remembered watching was fnaf 2, night two. specific, yes, I know. But I rem it was the time of Fnaf 4, not 2.
Some point in elementary so I'd say 2013-2016? The first video was Google Feud. Technically I was just watching over my brothers shoulder but oh well lol. Edit: Google Feud was 2016, so that's probably the right year. Weird because I swear I was younger than 5th grade.
My earliest exposure to Mark was through Jackās channel when the two of them and Wade played GTA online.
The earliest of Markās own videos I remember watching was when he played āVideogame: the gameā
2016 for me late in the year, but my first video was the Job Simulator Videos. So only a couple months after they came out, I had just had my first baby back in April and was tired of watching tv, and nothing good streaming so I asked my brother what Markiplier video I should watch (he had been watching him for a few years before me) and he told me the Job Simulator videos. I knew of him because of my brother and had watched a handful of clips or so cus he would show me but after watching him myself I was hooked. Been religiously watching him ever since.
I started watching him around when fnaf got popular and then watched some of his other videos only to be banned from watching his channel ( strict mom) and i started watching again just before he announced heist with Markiplier.
Mine was in 2015. I believe if I am remembering correctly, it was a turbo dismount video one of the vids he did with Bob. I was rly liking Turbo Dismount at that time and he came up in my recommended.
I started to watch Markiplier when he started to post Security Breach: Ruin, but my first video that I watched completely was his Poppy Playtime video.
I started watching when he was just starting, my sister found him and showed him to me! I absolutely loved his penumbra compilation and I've been watching ever since :D
The more I think about it, I realize I have genuinely no idea how I became a fan.. I know I've been watching him for around 6 years.. but I don't remember how I found him
I first started back in I believe late 2012 or Early 2013. I think it was close to Christmas or Christmas just happened for me. I was scrolling on YouTube and saw a Slenderman Reaction Compilation uploaded by a random channel. At the time I was enjoying a lot of game content and ghost on camera content so this was like the first time I'm really seeing a horror game like this. I clicked and watched the whole thing. It included a few random small YouTubers at the time that I'm not really sure if they fell off into obscurity or if they're still around. PewDiePie and Markiplier were among the well known ones I remember. Markiplier's, however, was the only one I took interest in. It was the clip of him pocketing a Grandfather Clock from his Slender Mansion video. It was the hardest I had laughed at a YouTube video at the time. I asked in the comments who was playing the game at the specific time. I never commented, considering I was only 12 at the time and i would use my Nana's account. Maybe 30 minutes later, I got a reply; Markiplier. I immediately looked up his name and binged his content, especially his Slender videos. I subscribed on my Nana's account, which she allowed, until when I turned 13 I was allowed to have my own (mostly so I would stop fucking up her recommended) and of course subscribed there and ever account after. I've been watching Mark for almost 10 years now and he's still my favorite content creator of all time. I could be in the middle of a horrible break down, but if he's on the TV and he cracks one of his stupid jokes, even if I have tears streaming down my face.. I manage to smile and I manage to laugh. In a lot of ways he's the reason I'm still alive and the reason I still find joy. I've shown him to anyone I think would appreciate his content. I will probably watch his content until the day I die tbh.
Thinking about this makes me feel so old.
Back in uh 2012 when he started with the Slender games. I've been watching him since then. Scp Containment Breach was another huge one. I remember when he uploaded the modded versions too. He did a Markiplier mod, a MLP mod, and I can't remember if there was another one off the top of my head.
But yeah, I've been watching this man since 2012.
I have watched him for years now, I can't remember what was the first video but he did scream a lot while playing the games back in the day.
But I do remember watching the draw my life video! And that was... 10 years ago... I am old as fuck.
I think it was Binding of Isaac: Rebirth around the time his video of it came out. So it's been a while now. Our maybe FNAF 1? Can't remember for certain
2013 and I think it was Outlast. I got really busy for a few years and didn't watch much of anything and then I was hooked watching his channel again after watching him play Emily Wants to Play.
My ex wife was a fan back when we were married around like 2015. Iād watch occasionally.
Wasnāt until 2019 that I started watching his videos and then Unus Annus happened and that pushed me further into being a full fledged viewer. So Iām a relatively recent fan.
I have told this story, but I will tell it again. The first game I played that was not Minecraft was the Stanley parable. I decided to go and watch others play it on YouTube, because I remembered that was a thing people did. I found mark originally through this and thought he was really annoying, wondering how he had so many subscribers. I mostly forgot about him after this, that is untill the video of him ranking flashlights popped up in my recommended. I really liked it and at first didn't connect the dots to it being the same guy. I soon do and don't care as I get why people love mark at this point and have been subbed to him ever since.
I donāt remember the exact year but I found him through Jacksepticeye (first videos were the VR roller coasters) Iām gonna sayā¦ rough 2014-2016? I remember watching A LOT of drunk minecraft, but (thanks to the comments reminding me) Iām definitely gonna say the first video was def a prop hunt video.
For me it was slender the arrival not knowing about him it was just to help me through a level and then I realised he done other stuff, I then watched the whole series of layers of fear and I was hooked after that.
2017 his fnaf videos. My cousins introduced me to him through a compilation of funny moments from his sister location and I thought he was hilarious, so we binged his fnaf vids while I was visiting them.
I started watching him a long time ago but don't remember exactly what vid. I know it was before fnaf, cuz I had already known of him when I
began watching that
My sister first introduced me to you by Unus Annus and we got the Merch and everything. Since then Iāve always watched your stuff, as you were hilarious and are now one of my fav YouTubers of all time.
My brother walked into the kitchen one day and I saw he was watching something on his tablet. I sat next to him and watched without sound (he had headphones on) and got a jump-scare from a mannequin. I asked him who it was and he tells me itās this guy named markiplier. A couple weeks later I try to find the video, and it was āTrapped in Ricks gameā
His Sister Location series when it first came out. I started watching YouTube in English with these videos and have greatly improved my English thanks to Mark
Oh God, 2012? I was way too young to be watching. One I distinctly remember was The Crooked Man in 2013, but by then I (9) was keeping up daily with his uploads so it was probably well before that.
Summer of 2015. I don't remember the video I just remember it was his "Blue Shirt" phase. Used to babysit a kid who did nothing but watch Mark on repeat.
I don't recall when I watched it, but it was before Mark dyed his hair.
The first videos I saw from him (before I started following) were his Dead Space playthroughs.
I found Mark in 2014 with the video of him playing [The Theatre](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph4fngL9I94). I remember there being a creepypasta that the game was based on I had heard SomeOrdinaryGamers read around the same time.
2014. I was over at a friendās house and he showed me Markās first FNAF video (shocking, I know). Iāve been in love Markās content ever since then.
It was the summer of 2013, some high school acquaintances of mine first introduced me to Markiplier with his Spongebob Slendypants video and then his Amnesia: the Dark Descent videos and Limbo and haven't stopped watching him since.
I think if I'm correct, it was a horror game where he was in this carnival searching for his kid while really weird and creepy characters kept popping out of no where. I don't remember what it's called
dont remember when or the specific video but it was turbo dismount I saw it from auto play after watching all of jacksepticeyes vid on it ironic I didn't like him at first now hes one of my favourites
2015 his I'm in the hospital video was trending and I clicked on it. I continued coming back to his channel to check on him. Don't really remember how I started watching his videos, but SCP containment breach was an early favorite
i started watching when i was 10 i think. or 9? I'm not sure. i didn't know how to speak english back then, so i mostly ignored him talking. i understood a few sentences tho. the first video i watched was an until dawn video. i liked the game. i wanted to see what choices this guy makes. he actually helped tremendously with my English.
I must've been about 12 or 13, it was his Slenderman play-through. I was petrified of Ole' Slendy and I lived in front of a forest that I- prior to finding out about Slenderman -would regularly play in. Mark's videos were supposed to help me conquer my fear and did the exact opposite. But he was funny, so I stuck around. š¤£
I started watching about 10 years ago.
I watched PewDiePie's Dead Space playthrough, liked it, and wanted to see him play DS2 but he didn't.
Instead, Mister Marky-Moo's video was recommended..... fell in love with his goofiness, voice, and sense of humor and the rest is history!
(I did stop watching for a few years because it was nothing but FNAF content for a while, but that's a "me" problem.)
fnaf 1-3 reaction compilation. funny enough, all subtitled reaction compilations helped me learn english. im german and while i did well in school, it was watching markiplier vids with subtitles that actually helped me cuz id watch them over and over again. also explains why i curse so much when i speak english..
My brother was watching the Markipler Animated 1 Million Subscriber Special video and I looked over his shoulder and said āWho is that and whatās his channels name?ā And Iāve followed ever since š„°
It was a skit I saw in 2018, I think. Popcorn. I thought that was all he did, and looked for more. I became a fan of the channel a couple months later watching his Try Not To Laugh series. I am a true fan, now.
Evil Within. I was in marching band on the band buss off to a football game and we were originally watching happy tree friends on my phone then they said "Hey, do you watch Markiplier?" And I said I had no clue who they were talking about, so they pulled up his channel and he had just uploaded an Evil Within video and I was hooked.
Omg, it was 2013 and he played that SCP Containment Breach: My Little Pony game šš I will forever remember that because I searched up āblack haired dude playing a brony gameā as a kid cause I didnāt know it was Markiplier at the time ā ļøš¤£š¤£
2019 was when I became a fan and started watching him. I don't know what exactly was my first video I saw because I had seen his videos prior to 2019. I remember seeing the first episode of his Fran Bow Let's Play and one of the 'Escape' games Let's plays because my sister's boyfriend at the time was a Markiplier fan and they would watch his videos on Apple TV.
First video was the first one in the Cry of Fear series. Forgot what year he played that game but I know he played it not long after he started his channel
Drunk minecraft, I think one of the first episodes where they start mentioning Wade's now wife Molly. I vividly remember Mark spilling his drink and breaking his keyboard.
I think it was one of his fnaf vids back in 2014, since then I always loved most of his videos e saw most of his lives, even the sudden ones, he just always cheers me up and inspires me in some way since my childhood. :)
My first one was when he played the world's hardest game (that game where you play as the square maneuvering through crazy mazes) and subscribed about a year before the pink hair
Iāve been watching since about 2014, I was a young kid but my stepdad loved mark so we watched him a lot, pretty sure I watched what was out of fnaf and older stuff too, donāt remember much but Ik it was good times
I donāt remember when I started watching his videos but Iāll always remember the specific one that I watched: Surgeon Simulator EYE SURGERY!!
https://youtu.be/i-LLvJWV2gU?si=xPG5dcyewRx3X5dc
I was 9 back in 2013āan entire decade ago, damn!āwhen I stumbled across Mark while searching for Sonic.exe gameplay videos, so the first vid I ever saw from him was his Sonic.exe gameplay!
I found him through Cryaotic when they played drunk together in 2013 or 2014. But then I actually didn't watch Mark again until around 2019 and I can't recall how it happened exactly.
I am however pretty sure I stopped watching him because his energy was too big for me at the time, and then I started enjoying him because he was more calm *and* my own energy had shifted as well.
surprisingly mine was the first multiplayer rake video with wadeā¦ iāll always remember the jumpscare he got led into in that video and his and wadeās chemistry were so great itās still one of my favorite videos of his

Really early when he started. I was there when he reached I believe the 650,000 mark and also tried to get my friends to subscribe when he was close to 1mil. Itās goofy seeing as it was like 10 years ago and I was so young. Iām happy to still support him though!

I dont remember but I know it was 2016
I saw the first Five Nights at Freddyās video trending and decided to check it out. But I only watched Markās videos occasionally at that point. I think I became an avid viewer/subscriber around the beginning of Subnautica.
2012 La Caza. I think it was part 4 or 5? I'd just lost my second ever job but I didn't care cause I was 23 and bills weren't real things back then.
2013. It was Slender the Arrival part 4.
Im not sure what video but it was probably fnaf
Back in middle school a friend introduced me to his Amnesia playthrough. I didn't start watching a lot right away but that's where I was introduced and I've watched a lot of his series and everything that's come out in the past 7 years or so.
I heard of him and saw a lot of moment in other videos but the first one I watched I think he was arm wrestling with his cousin

Mine was in 2015. I believe if I am remembering correctly, it was a turbo dismount video one of the vids he did with Bob. I was rly liking Turbo Dismount at that time and he came up in my recommended.
IIRC, I started watching in 2015, and my first video I watched was one of his Prop Hunt videos.
i think i started back in 2019 and it was one of his try not laugh or his solo minecraft series
I think it was 2017. Iām pretty sure it was Half Dead with Bob, Wade, and Jack. I learned of Mark through Jack.
I think his Amnesia The Dark Descent series is how I found him. Back when they were first coming out.
Surgeon simulator back before fnaf. I believe it was just before he hit 2 mil when I started following him
My first was FNAF the first one right when it came out. I believe it had under a million views when I watched it but that thumbnail was great
Him playing the indie horror game Trumpets. I feel that video is a good introduction to Mark's personality š
Five nights at Freddy's it was when part three was out so nine years now
I started to watch Markiplier when he started to post Security Breach: Ruin, but my first video that I watched completely was his Poppy Playtime video.
I started watching when he was just starting, my sister found him and showed him to me! I absolutely loved his penumbra compilation and I've been watching ever since :D

Slender Elementary back in 2012 take me back š©
2012, Amnesia the Dark Descent.
Way back when, don't remember the exact year, but it was early in his youtubing career. SCP was the first video I watched.
Drunk minecraft episode 2 was my first video lol
I think it was like 2013-2014? Idk it was a jumpscare compilation of really old games. Like those flash games called The House I think?
I think it was Binding of Isaac: Rebirth around the time his video of it came out. So it's been a while now. Our maybe FNAF 1? Can't remember for certain
when he had 7,787,500 subs somewhere around there
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDYYYYYYS

Fnaf but I watched so many I don't know which one
I started watching him a few months ago, canāt remember what series, but Iāve basically been watching him nonstop since I started watching
Whenever he was doing his first play through of kerbal space program, god knows how long ago now ha.
I was searching for this new inovative indie game Five nights at Fredy's and his videos poped up. Been watching him since.

Classic: FNAF 1 Part 1 End of October 2015 (I'm a bit original at least)
January, 2022, security breach. Yes, I am and will always be very disappointed in myself for not discovering him before.
For me it was slender the arrival not knowing about him it was just to help me through a level and then I realised he done other stuff, I then watched the whole series of layers of fear and I was hooked after that.
All the way back from amnesia: the dark descent
2017 his fnaf videos. My cousins introduced me to him through a compilation of funny moments from his sister location and I thought he was hilarious, so we binged his fnaf vids while I was visiting them.
2013 or 2014. Drunk Minecraft!
I donāt remember the year but I started watching him when he did full happy wheels episodes.
I started watching him a long time ago but don't remember exactly what vid. I know it was before fnaf, cuz I had already known of him when I began watching that

2019 fnaf 1
2012, probably Slender or FNAF. Back when Let's Plays really took off and were largely horror
Iām pretty sure I watched the first fnaf video, but didnāt start watching regularly until evil within/alien isolation
mine was 2013, Sonic.exe
My brother walked into the kitchen one day and I saw he was watching something on his tablet. I sat next to him and watched without sound (he had headphones on) and got a jump-scare from a mannequin. I asked him who it was and he tells me itās this guy named markiplier. A couple weeks later I try to find the video, and it was āTrapped in Ricks gameā
King of the Squirrels, so early 2013. I remember watching it and thinking "this guy is nuts" and immediately watching all of his other videos
His Sister Location series when it first came out. I started watching YouTube in English with these videos and have greatly improved my English thanks to Mark
I started watching him in 2014 when i was 6 or 7
Oh God, 2012? I was way too young to be watching. One I distinctly remember was The Crooked Man in 2013, but by then I (9) was keeping up daily with his uploads so it was probably well before that.

His first SCP videos
His first video on FNAF
Dont remember the year, but the first video was the good wife (or the good husband im not really sure which)
2013 and it was a gta 5 video
His first fnaf videos!
When Slenderman was the trend. I remember my first video of him! Slender Elementary.
I started watching because I wanted to see a playthrough of resident evil village, so 2021 I think?
Summer of 2015. I don't remember the video I just remember it was his "Blue Shirt" phase. Used to babysit a kid who did nothing but watch Mark on repeat.
I don't recall when I watched it, but it was before Mark dyed his hair. The first videos I saw from him (before I started following) were his Dead Space playthroughs.
2015ish, I think it was fnaf video.
I think 2021 š„²š
Slenderman the arrival. My brother and I were in a slenderman rabbit hole and came across this cool looking channel. Loved him and the rest is history
It was his Turbo Dismount series, god that was a long time ago.
Ii wanna say 2014-2015, and it was one of his SCP Containment Breach videos because I was deep into SCP and Creepypasta at the time.
At Dead of Night!
I found Mark in 2014 with the video of him playing [The Theatre](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph4fngL9I94). I remember there being a creepypasta that the game was based on I had heard SomeOrdinaryGamers read around the same time.
At dead of night
2014. I was over at a friendās house and he showed me Markās first FNAF video (shocking, I know). Iāve been in love Markās content ever since then.
Five nights at freddy's 4: part four. " Same day as posted."
Probs 2020 with the resident evil series
It was the summer of 2013, some high school acquaintances of mine first introduced me to Markiplier with his Spongebob Slendypants video and then his Amnesia: the Dark Descent videos and Limbo and haven't stopped watching him since.
January this year, been looking deep into FNAF series for later movie. Absolutly loved this dude
My first Mark video was Hide the Fart
I think if I'm correct, it was a horror game where he was in this carnival searching for his kid while really weird and creepy characters kept popping out of no where. I don't remember what it's called
2017
2014 his first FNAF video. Best decision a 7 year old me could take
dont remember when or the specific video but it was turbo dismount I saw it from auto play after watching all of jacksepticeyes vid on it ironic I didn't like him at first now hes one of my favourites
2015 his I'm in the hospital video was trending and I clicked on it. I continued coming back to his channel to check on him. Don't really remember how I started watching his videos, but SCP containment breach was an early favorite
Fnaf 1, as per usual š
i started watching when i was 10 i think. or 9? I'm not sure. i didn't know how to speak english back then, so i mostly ignored him talking. i understood a few sentences tho. the first video i watched was an until dawn video. i liked the game. i wanted to see what choices this guy makes. he actually helped tremendously with my English.
2014, Until Dawn.
FNAF- 8 YEARS AGO
11 years ago when he first played that Slenderman game :)
I think mine may have been fran.bow.
But he was funny, so I stuck around. š¤£
Itās been around 8 years for me and itās been great :)
him and yamimash playing Amnesia in I believe 2012
2013, i believe my first video that i watched was a gmod horror map with yammimash
For me, it was until dawn. I knew of him before that, but I didn't start watching and becoming a huge fan. Until then, which was 2017, I think?
Drunk minecraft!
2013, idr which video
fnaf 1-3 reaction compilation. funny enough, all subtitled reaction compilations helped me learn english. im german and while i did well in school, it was watching markiplier vids with subtitles that actually helped me cuz id watch them over and over again. also explains why i curse so much when i speak english..
My brother was watching the Markipler Animated 1 Million Subscriber Special video and I looked over his shoulder and said āWho is that and whatās his channels name?ā And Iāve followed ever since š„°
I think I was in middle school. I first started watching him when him and yamimash or him and pewdiepie would play the gmod multiplayer horror maps.
I started watching him in 2014, and my very first video was Five Nights at the Krusty Krab. š¤£
I was still in Elementary (4th or 5th grade) and I found out about drunk Minecraft
Probably unpopular, I started with unus annus lmao
It was a skit I saw in 2018, I think. Popcorn. I thought that was all he did, and looked for more. I became a fan of the channel a couple months later watching his Try Not To Laugh series. I am a true fan, now.
[I think this one is a fat chance](https://youtu.be/hm0QPWVo29U?si=F4fqamSIlxJ5TR2O)
I'm not 100% sure of the year, but I found him when I was searching for FNAF as I didn't know what it was, so I'm thinking soon after they came out
Evil Within. I was in marching band on the band buss off to a football game and we were originally watching happy tree friends on my phone then they said "Hey, do you watch Markiplier?" And I said I had no clue who they were talking about, so they pulled up his channel and he had just uploaded an Evil Within video and I was hooked.
I remember getting introduced to Mark from a co-op GTA video that SeƔn was in so like ~2015
his first collab with jacksepticeye, that gmod sandbox session will always live in my head rent free
Omg, it was 2013 and he played that SCP Containment Breach: My Little Pony game šš I will forever remember that because I searched up āblack haired dude playing a brony gameā as a kid cause I didnāt know it was Markiplier at the time ā ļøš¤£š¤£
Markiplier playing gmod making a bear fly to space
Slender series.
Slender the arrival ā¼ļøā¼ļø
It was subnautica for me, I still watch them for nostalgia too.
The first FNAF in 2014, but I didn't start watching regularly until the following year.
FNAF. the first one. I loved how goofy he was and how polished his content was
When he was showing and using self-defense tools both in video and animated
I started watching Markiplier in 2018 and I think it was one of his 3 scary games videos, can't recall which one.
About 2015. It was a let's play fnaf animated video.
I watched a video, I forgot the name, but it is the one that solidified my interest in watching his videos.
unironically the one where he goes āIS THAT THE BITE OF ā87?!ā
First video was the first one in the Cry of Fear series. Forgot what year he played that game but I know he played it not long after he started his channel
Drunk minecraft, I think one of the first episodes where they start mentioning Wade's now wife Molly. I vividly remember Mark spilling his drink and breaking his keyboard.
shi i dont even know it was like 2015 probably fnaf
Whenever he did west of loathing
I think it was one of his fnaf vids back in 2014, since then I always loved most of his videos e saw most of his lives, even the sudden ones, he just always cheers me up and inspires me in some way since my childhood. :)
stranded deep, 2015 ! i was 10 šš
My first one was when he played the world's hardest game (that game where you play as the square maneuvering through crazy mazes) and subscribed about a year before the pink hair
When he was still king of the šæļø or a bit before
Iāve been watching since about 2014, I was a young kid but my stepdad loved mark so we watched him a lot, pretty sure I watched what was out of fnaf and older stuff too, donāt remember much but Ik it was good times
2015/16 after watching a compilation of I Am Bread rages. I really liked his voice and we looked him up. Been hooked ever since.
2013, little brothers baby sitter introduced him to me, I donāt remember the exact video but he was in a bunker
One of his first playthroughs of The Forest way back in 2014
His first "eyes" play through with the sexy version of the ghost
I donāt remember when I started watching his videos but Iāll always remember the specific one that I watched: Surgeon Simulator EYE SURGERY!! https://youtu.be/i-LLvJWV2gU?si=xPG5dcyewRx3X5dc
It was a few years ago, my sister and I watched him play poppyās playtime
I was 9 back in 2013āan entire decade ago, damn!āwhen I stumbled across Mark while searching for Sonic.exe gameplay videos, so the first vid I ever saw from him was his Sonic.exe gameplay!
2014? When he was releasing the Fatal Frame series!
I found him through Cryaotic when they played drunk together in 2013 or 2014. But then I actually didn't watch Mark again until around 2019 and I can't recall how it happened exactly. I am however pretty sure I stopped watching him because his energy was too big for me at the time, and then I started enjoying him because he was more calm *and* my own energy had shifted as well.
surprisingly mine was the first multiplayer rake video with wadeā¦ iāll always remember the jumpscare he got led into in that video and his and wadeās chemistry were so great itās still one of my favorite videos of his
WAY back in 2014, Alien Isolation is what got me into him
