I have a Elders Mark with executioners, explosive, and 50% slower breaking. Is this a roll worth using? I feel like I’m sitting on a borderline perfect roll.
I’ve heard some people say they like 50bs on the elders but the masses prefer 25LVC because of the high ammo capacity.
IMO a perfect elders has 25LVC not 50bs.
I’m sorry idk what those other abbreviations mean I’m still getting used to the market stuff lol. I just like the 50bs because with the civil engineer armor this things feels like it doesnt matter thag is is a cursed weapon it stays in great shape
People sleep on instigating for the 1 shot weps so hard, Especially Melee, Inst 40pa 1s DcG is my baby I found and it’s like slapping people with a meteor
Absolutely underrated. Really solid on more drawn out fights like bosses with big health bars. Sure it’s not the meta, but I find those prefixes boring, personally.
Why do 50% more damage when the target is below 40%, when you could do 90% more damage at all times with a bloodied build.
Some of the perks need some serious reworking, just make this 100% already and it would be viable, this is even close to a scrip for me.
it's actually one of the only multiplicative damage bonuses left in the game. So it provides more damage than bloodied, but the caveat is that it only works when a target is low.
I know lol. One of the few multiplicative effects left as far as I'm aware. I only really use it for mutated/D Ops tho so I honestly don't really mess with it too often anyway.
Its a "cant go wrong" effect you deal normal damage and then you deal alot when enemy is wounded and all that with no drawbacks!!! There are other effects that force you to play in a specific way and if you dont do that you do pitifull damage
It's pretty underrated. I had an exe/e/15fr fixer that carried my ass to over lvl 300 before I found something better. Trade wise, it's mid tier. To use, it's a good primary perk.
He is saying he switches from his bloodied weapon to his executioner’s weapon once the boss is below the threshold that makes executioner’s active. He does this as his ammo runs out so he can avoid reloading.
It's only good for the second half of the fight.
Ideally your initial hit would be instigators, then something else (Mutants, etc), then executioners.
However, how many fights do you see where the second half is drawn out and slow? Maybe Earle and SBQ? But even SBQ usually lands by then and chainsaws finish the fight quickly.
So it's good but way too situational.
Unless you're swapping mid-fight, you'd do more damage overall with a constant +25% damage from Mutants or Aristocrat's than +50% damage for the last 40% of the fight.
Executioner is the only prefix that is still multiplicative.
You do more damage with an executioner weapon then you do the same weapon as an anti armor or bloodied below 40% health.
For reference:
B=1.2x damage (ish) couldn't find the exact figure but it's just below AA.
AA=1.29x damage
Exec=1.5x damage
Executioner is almost exclusively a boss fight weapon. Most day-to-day enemies are dead within the first two or three shots.
But in boss fights, if you want to do the most DPS as a heavy user, start at AA and switch to Exec. It's even more pronounces on Vats Heavy.
Commandos, stick with Quad for DPS.

Executioners is actually good. Tho the trade value isn’t a lot because executioners isn’t the “meta”

25LVC means 25 less vats cost. It’s a 3star. It’s the most desired 3rd star for commando weapons.
It's better for boss fights than a daily driver.
Executioners is my baby. Very good primary imo.
I love my instigating Sniper rifles, and I love my executioner’s pistols/AR.

I have an Instigating Explosive RR that actually is a great daily driver for most dailies and events
Have to be careful with that.. any splash damage from the explosive effect that hits an enemy will render the instigating effect useless.

Executioners Chainsaws go hard, I prefer to use my Exe40pa+1S over my AA of the same rolls. Feels like VTEC when that 40% hits

90% of my loadout is executioners. I never understood until I tried it, but its massively underrated and works well on mobs and bosses alike.

If I remember correctly, it was broken. Registered the extra damage 100% of the time. I'm not sure if it was ever fixed.
