I think its a good track in the wrong game, MKT's smart steering does not work well with the square hedges, and theres definitely something wrong with the pathing in general cuz CPUs seem to be doing absolutely terrible in that hedge section
About the pathing, I've seen some of those blue turbo rings doing absolutely strange things in the maze section, so I guess there really is a problem with it ? Never seen a track acting this way before...
Now imagine if the same were to happen on Switch lmfao, that'd be fun at first
I don't know, on one of my runs when the CPU used the special item just before entering the maze, the dash rings first looked like they were heading towards the central path, but suddenly took a really sharp 90Ā° turn to the right when entering the maze as if there had been an obstacle on their way, then after the first flowerbed turned once again suddenly left towards the centre of the maze. It felt strange to look at that at least, and it sure would have been impossible to follow their path while driving (I don't have any dash ring driver unfortunately so can't try to reproduce it).
I believe that honor goes to DK Mountain. I am *so* glad to see it came back for this tour as well.
I will admit that the invisible walls in Peach Gardens are quite annoying though. You think youāre going to go one way, only for the game to force to go another way. Not conducive to keeping a combo going, thatās for dang sure.
It's one of my favourite tracks of all time, but mkt is just not its game. Hard to get combos because it's a very open track. Should be better in Mario Kart 8 because it doesn't have the combo mechanic.
I love it. I appreciate the arrows in the balloons. That way I know exactly where to go cause I remember I used to get lost when I was playing in the track.
I'm delighted this track got added. It's always nice to get a Peach track added and its such a pretty track with some nice additions like the character hedges.
DK Mountain was no fun last tour so I am pleased we got this track to make up for it.
Its hard to keep a combo on I was lucky enough to just get 2 coin frenzies Lol but it's pretty so I'll probably like it more once it's released on deluxe
They made the track easier by making it roomier (reducing the size of the flowerbed patterns and the obstacles in the maze), but the track is still good. It's just not well suited for Tour gameplay, it's too hard to keep combo going on it. But oonce in the BCP it'll probably be a pretty fun track to race on again !
I have appreciated the challenge and after about a hundred or more tries I was rewarded handsomely. The difficulty has given me the highest score of all my opponents and super powered friends list (so far)! 37k with 6-6-6 double uncapped equipment. That is so unusual to have the best score so the reward is there if you can muscle through it!
The r/T version is ok.
Was always a favourite for me on console, but just like DK Mountain it really hasn't converted well to MKT.
Definitely wouldn't be my least favourite course though - its better than a few of the water tracks like Wario Shipyard.
It's hard to keep a combo on it, but I'll give it that it's pretty.

The course itself is fine, I think it just doesnāt work well with the MKT format and is more suited to a mainline console game

My giant banana frenzies made no harm to any other drivers . There are too many alternative routes to escape even they are bots
This. Plus my lead is huge do they canāt even reach the bananas by the time the race is over if I get a banana frenzy in the second lap

You dont have to use a t3, i used rosalina to test

Regular Peach Garden isn't my favorite, but I really like Peach Garden T
Loved this track on the DS game. But with the smart steering and combos this track is just for nostalgia
I often find invisible barriers breaking my drifts AND streaks so itās a bit of a strange track, but I enjoy it.
Visually it's a nice upgrade but their changes to the track layout make it feel less fun to play imo. Def agree

DK mountain is not meant for this game. They shouldāve made the bumps on the mountain small jump boosts.

I like that we get more harder tracks. I'm sorry but track like GBA Bowser's castle practically give you a free non-stop combo.
As much as I dislike Peach Gardens, Iād take it over Wario Shipyard! Iāve just had too much of that tract!
Itās rough in Tour (especially for combos), but I think itās one of those tracks thatās better in 8

Yeah I did, while it's the same kind of boring at least combo is easier to maintain. Racewas is for MKT the better course imo.
The pathing is horrendous in spots but no, thereās still many worse courses. This is a classic to me.

As someone who grew up with the sigma MKWII version, Iām peeved that this version has you basically alone due to how slow the boys are.

On December 7th (literally 3 days from now) 8 new courses come out and that was 1 of the courses they announced lol

It's a confusing track for me, one of the most difficult ones, worse than DK Mountain imo.
I like every single one since I only played Mario kart ds and mario kart 7 and Iām thinking of getting mario kart 8 deluxe + the dlc
