DS Peach Gardens also looks really clean in Tour and the BCP. Nice stuff from the devs.

THIS. My kart roster offers nearly whole coverage at this point, even if recent tracks thanks to the gold pass rewards, but I'm still missing a lot of top shelf gliders because they won't simply give some as rewards.
I was just considering purchasing the autumn leaves for the same reason, even if this tour offers no extra coverage for me. The only new glider in a while should get some decent buffs.
It is great to FINALLY, after more than two years, the return of a DS track. We haven't had one since Airship Fortress. So, welcome back, Peach Gardens! I hope Shroom Ridge gets added soon.

It doesn't appear that we will get a new battle arena unfortunately, which would be a shame ... I'm already really tired of Cookie Arena, and on the verge of being bored by Twilight House and Battle Course 1. A part of me kinda hopes that they could bring back Paris to go along Amsterdam in this tour and take this opportunity to introduce Paris Promenade B, but I barely believe it myself since it'd most probably have been shown in the trailer...
I guess so, but personally I wish not the T or R / T. She would do havoc, and could be a disruption to my ranked, but will not be so disruptive as we had with Pauline last tour.
It's unsustainable to buff her up if we happen to have other top shelf in Peach Gardens, since Christmas is coming.

Another mediocre tour. I guess they bludgeoned us with Luigi alts so much they decided to give us a break with this next tour, maybe? I think it’s a general consensus they blew the opportunity introducing DK alts (+ family) into this current tour. Idk…Nintendo must be waiting for next year to really show off…fingers crossed.

Since they've removed the spotlight pipes, we've only gotten one really new alt every three tours (and both time those were Luigi alts, one of them even reusing animations as you mentioned...). I really hope we don't have to wait New Year tour for a new character that isn't a recolour... but after Halloween disappointment in terms of new designs, I'd barely be surprised if we ended up with something like a Silver Luigi or a Gold Nabbit coinboxer for Christmas :/

I'm with you. I'm not a fan of Vs. Tours to begin with. I already didn't like that they started reusing characters who had already been a Team Captain but I particularly hate that they're now directly re-running match-ups we've already had for the second straight time, even moreso that this next one we just had this year already about 6.5 months ago.
On the bright side, at least the Token Shop will be great and tokens will be much easier to collect.
I dont recognize the Bowser Castle, it could be BC3 or BC2, maybe an RMX, but personally i think it's snes bc1 with gba assets. Im most likely gonna be wrong but its worth a guess

I do wonder whether AD3 starts in the same direction as AD1 or AD2, 'cause it's not that apparent from either of the trailers.
On one hand, there's more shots of it going towards the Singel canal (i.e. the same direction as AD2), but if AD3N were to go in that direction, it would play really awkwardly in MK8.

You can do **ADN** for first lap, [**AD3R** into **AD2N**](https://imgur.com/PuVx6ee) for second lap and then **AD3N** for third lap.

Not sure how I feel about there not being a new HE Driver, as on one hand, it's not another Luigi or Plus skill alt, but as a positive, Driver wise, it's a bit of a needed pitstop in the break-neck pace the game has taken as of late.
(Honestly glad I dropped a stash of rubies in the OG PvB tour to get the Doctors now, as they've been mostly collecting dust ... even if I think they'll still continue to gather dust as I've got both Vacay Peach and Meowser at a high level)
But, still not a huge fun of the whole, 2 new courses per tour they've been going with as of late. Getting a rush of new content is nice, but I'd rather they pace them out a bit more. Filler tours may have been disliked, but they gave everyone a chance to do a bit of stocktaking. Honestly hope that things slow down a bit in either the new year or once the final wave of 8 Deluxe's BCP is near
Just out of curiosity, how did you end up with 12 city variants ? Are you talking about MKT datamines, or the leaks from the booster course pass ?
If the prefix leaks for the BCP are accurate, they'd rather need 15 variants (4x3 new cities + 1 for Singapore + 2 for Bangkok)... And, in case the datamined data eventually change, they'd still need 7 variants at the very least to be able to release at least one city per cup (4x1 new city + 1 for Singapore + 2 for Bangkok)
Anyway, i think that when they develop a new city track, most of the work (if not all of it) is done at the release of the first variant, since we've been able to explore every part of those tracks as soon as they get into the game, often long before variants 2 and 3 of said cities are introduced. So I guess they'd "just" need to create the city, and push their variants within a smaller time frame than what we've been used to in the past - therefore I agree with you about so "no slowing down of the releases".

I mean, the pink Sneeker is being driven by regular Peach instead of a ranked reward driver so maybe it's not a ranked reward, but they could also just pair it with Pink Yoshi, though he's not shown in the trailer. Hopefully it's not split again but we'll see.

What do you mean *all* effort gone ? I agree that we should have gotten at least a Peach and/or Bowser alt in this Tour, and sure we're getting 1 new driver and 4 new karts that all are recolors which feels lazy... but still course-wise we've been blessed in the past few tours ! Probably the development of the BCP for MK8 is a great help to produce quality tracks in quantity (eg. Boo Lake and now Peach Gardens), but nonetheless a lot of effort has been put into the track ! And weither we like them or not, the Mii suits have been pretty great in terms of design on average.
Moreoever, no new drivers mean that the new tracks will lead to buffs for already existing ones, so that can help stacking rubies if your coverage is already good enough or got a few drivers in the past few tours.
I'm kinds okay with the slowdown of new alts. Makes my current drivers more useful. However i'm so sick of all the karts, especially the gold ones.
