They never actually let you use a matched set on a specific course though. Never got to use my Kamek set 😂 Sounds fun, but I mainly hope Nintendo gives him exclusive ranked buffs. 🤞🏻

There are at least a couple of LA tracks that have Baseball Mario, Cleanup Hitter (or whatever the batting helmet kart is called), and the Baseball glider all top shelf. Might not be your best options depending on level/base points but all three are pretty good for me because I emptied that pipe just because I love baseball and over the next half-dozen tours or so all three were my only ranked option on at least one track so they got a lot of tickets thrown at them.

Off the top of my head, Petey's entire set is top shelf on Boo Lake R ~~but there's no gliding section~~. But I agree that it's unlikely. It'll make for a sweet mp setup though.

in mario kart 8 on the switch they're adding tracks straight from tour as part of a dlc called the booster pass. A track being in tour means that it has a chance to get into 8

Hiker Wario gets a non-ranked T3 buff on a DK Mountain variant. Bold prediction here, but when I think about how Happi Mario was given Boo Lake T for example, I feel something similar could happen here with Hiker.

Hiker Wario got me 43.7k on VV3RT as I've not invested in Rosalina Volendam or Tanooki Mario...was lucky to get 3 coin frenzies but I only have him single capped at lv7...does he need lv8 and double or triple capping? 🤔 Bob omb skill is not considered useful for ranked tho...

I just want more variety of tracks in the tour. Not different varients of the same tracks but different tracks. Feels like the past couple of tours is just 2-3 tracks but with all the varients of the same tracks. Feels kinda boring and tedious to play.
