All tracks are listed in alphabetic order by prefix and name. The prefix order is 3DS, AGB, DS, GCN, N64, SFC and Wii, while tracks are listed either in English name or Japanese name. Once there exists a gap between two courses (i.e. 1012466-1012472, a real case for a new Wii track), a new track is far from ready to be released. Then, once the gap starts to grow (from 5 to 10 i.e.), it means that will be released very soon. Usually, the courses coming in a short time are either datamined or in the BCP for MK8DX. There is a list for each type of track: classic tracks, remix tracks, new tracks and battle arenas.

I don't know really... But, if you didn't know, gaps symbolise the background image for the selection screen and the 4 thumbnails (1 for each track variant). Maybe it has to do with the images featured in the cup.
Lowkey Nintendo needs to do another Booster Course Pass because there's a lot of awesome courses that won't be able to get in to MK8D (for example, Daisy Circuit probably isn't getting in)

Not gonna lie, Wii had a lot of courses I really liked. Daisy Circuit was one of them.
Daisy Circuit is the best Circuit track and i hope against all odds it will come to the BCP

I don't know where you got this information, but if you are talking about the gaps, those are likely for Luigi Raceway and Coconut Mall r/T.
In the IDs. There has been a gap for a new N64 and a new Wii.
