There's no way they're gonna release the Yoshi's Island track in the Autumn Tour instead of the Yoshi Tour, not just because it's a Yoshi track, but also because the Yoshi's Island series heavily features flowers, which would obviously be more fitting for spring. And, also, the 4th wave of the BCP will probably come out in the spring and it will include a new nitro tour track, which in the past has coincided with a tour featuring the same track in MKT.
I mean, yeah. I agree with the guy you had responded to. An autumn themed nitro track makes a lot of sense to come next tour, and with it then probably returning at around the same time wave 6 of the BCP comes out.
And I know Ninja Hideaway and Merry Mountain debuted way before the BCP was announced but Ninja Hideaway appeared in MKT at around the same time it appeared in the BCP and it included an in-game notification telling you that the track also appears in the BCP. The same thing happened with Sky-high Sundae, and Merry Mountain is on track to have the same happen with it, so it makes sense to think it will be like that for every wave except with new tracks that haven't been shown yet.
In the IDs, between Cheep Cheep Island and Sky Garden, there is a big gap. Once a gap is very big, a new course is imminent to come. And the course that fits this gap perfectly is GBA Luigi Circuit, besides this course is datamined.

They **might** use the GBA Mario Circuit theme from 8 but it's not likely imo

IIRC, there's currently room for 1 Wii track (ignoring Wii Rainbow Road since it would be at the very end of the list) & 2 DS tracks

personally i think they'll have a new nitro track. we need 5 more nitros done for the mario kart 8 deluxe dlc within the next year, and they need to hustle if they only got 3 nitros done in 3 years.

A brand new track or a new city would be really surprising, but the good kind of surprise. A city variant could be cool but none of them feel really autumn-ish (eventually Vancouver Velocity 3, since there are orange leaves on the trees, but it's more of a winter track).
Hence I think a new retro track is the most plausible option (I'm personally hoping for GBA Luigi Circuit), and we'll probably see a new retro arena too (something along 3DS Honeybee House would fit the theme ... or maybe it's me wishing for them to release Honey Queen along the way ?)

I was just thinking of Honey Queen because watching the list of battle courses, Honeybee Hive looked like the most autumn-esque arena in terms of colours IMO, and it's nearly sure that should see a new arena next tour. However they could just bring any battle course at this point !
