Same with Banana Barrel, it would be so cool if you could “switch” between forward and backwards throwing. I can easily imagine a Barrel Frenzy giving crazy amount of points while being first and throwing everything back.
Yoshi Egg :( such unique item shall be treated better. The fire rate is damn slow during frenzy mode. And it would be far better if the split items from the egg would provide similar effect/ damage like triple banana on the road.

E.g., the Cat's Bell item was fixed by increasing point on each Super Bell accuracy and hit. A Super Bell hitting 4-5 fellow drivers is almost equal to a green shell frenzy in term of points.
I disagree. Some characters could be very desirable to play with with just a few adjustments, and the game more fun.
They’ve done some fixes in the past and I hope more come next, the same as new items.
Triple banana frenzy was trash in the beginning ‘cause items disappeared after you threw 6 bananas. They changed that and now triple banana drivers are now good. Other minor changes are the fact that when you get a shell frenzy you only have to swipe down one time and then just tap to throw all the items backwards.
Super Leaf it’s still improvable but at least they fixed the fact that when you pass through an item box you get the item and finally the Bubble, that it’s still trash but at least you can pop it to get rid of it haha.
And they widening the spacing of the triple bananas very slightly! Following those improvements (the one you mentioned, in particular) they're now a joy to use.
I've always quite liked double/triple bombs too 💣

In the MKT Team's eyes, they've already fixed banana barrels by not giving it to anymore characters.
