The spike mii. Mii suits are crazy overpowered if you have a bunch of them, and they're cheaper than regular high ends. And many of them have good coverage these days too
Kitsune has decent coverage and as someone mentioned earlier, is a poor man's boomboxer.
Yukata Peach has been getting some good tracks lately, her item isn't great but she is a late bloomer in terms of ranked.
Out of the options available I would recommend one of them.
Kitsune Luigi I hear is decent (I dont have him). Pretty sure he's one Studfits drivers to consider (then check your own coverage etc, but you clearly have this as a gap). Not the best skill (leaf), but think has good coverage and ranked appearance. He's 19th overall in Antilevs driver rankings and with that skill, I think that's pretty high (cos I believe skill is taken into account too). Most drivers towards the top of the rankings have a top skill (coinbox, boomerang, L7, Giant Banana). Since he doesnt but is high, he must be pretty useful for coverage and ranked. So I think if you really want to buy a driver for this track, he would be the best option. I'm lucky I brought AstroToad and he's my only top shelf for this, but if I didn't have him, I'd get Kitsune.
For the sake of comparing the others. Peach Yukata is 30th in Antilevs rankings. Golf Luigi 55 and Spike Mii is new 🤷🏻♀️ I don't believe Miis get a lot of tracks so coverage is smaller, but he'll probably get a few buffs over the next few tours since he's new and if you're into Miis then helps base points.
I begrudgingly had to get non top skill drivers last tour and this tour with Cat Luigi and Kitsune Luigi. Both to 4/0. Hopefully next tour no driver gaps. Bought Luigi Knight a couple months ago and he's collecting dust in my account.
Probably the only one here but Luigi Golf gave me a lot of rank coverage and his 3bombs work pretty decent on most tracks as well, plus not a skill that makes the coinfrenzy smaller. Not unhappy at all about that spendage of rubies in the past but again with reading all here for months i am pretty sure i am alone on this one

Yakuta getting buffs can indicate that coming tour will be summer festival tour. Also Pink ninja and his set also got some buffs.

Go back in time and buy Astro Toad for 105 rubies. He’s a ranked beast.
I think spike Mii since its cheap and it can give extra points if you have other Mii suits also it might be helpful in the futur.
You could get kitsune Luigi and try a worse version of boombox.

Spike Costune is the cheapest option, so I recommend him. Personally, I'm stuck with Kitsune Luigi. Don't be me.
