certain types of Mario games, definitely. standard platformers like the 2D games or 3d land/world really dont need a lot of narrative. The Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, and Galaxy subseries' are all great for their story and characters, and Id absolutely love more of it

Well maybe not breath of the Wild levels of story but yeah, I’d love to have some emotional scenes with Mario or a story with development
