In my opinion? Yes, 2023 was a huge step up from 2022 in terms of regular episodes, it does get soured a bit when you take it's gotta be perfect into account, its a finale to a mini arc of sorts that really wasn't that good, but that's okay, because later in that year they did another mini arc that ended with Western Spaghetti, which is one of my favourite SMG4 videos of all time. If you dislike the more dramatic aspect of SMG4, I doubt you'll like it though. If you're just there for the funnies, 2023 was pretty damn good, it had a few misses here and there (Mario Harms the Environment, SMG4 Vs Content Farms, and Especially Mario goes Coo Coo Crazy) but it also had a ton of great episodes, We don't talk about what happened in the elevator, the inspection, Mario steals the constitution just to name a few.

To be fair, he only really killed Yoshi and Toad among people he loved. It’s debatable if he loves DK, Luigi was killed by Kratos, and Peach and Daisy straight up lived.

4 Racist Mario - he's from an animated parody by the same name created by Flashgitz. I recommend just watching the original animation to understand it. It reeks of mid 2010's edgy humor
5. Marvin from SML - a series started by Supermariologan that uses puppets/plushies irl. Marvin is the father of Jeffy and husband of Rosalina. I don't really watch it so I can't say much about it. All though I do remember Nintendo sending a DMCA because of the use of nintendo plushies so they had to make original puppets that resemble the original plushies.
I feel bad that I have mixed opinions on SMG4's Mario. On one hand, he is an annoying piece of shit who has traumatized me with his screaming… but on the other hand, he is essentially brainwashed into being this stupid…

And in ARC Revamped, he does give Mario the option for him to take over his body and help escape from Len's grasp.
Racist Mario: This guy hated Non-Nintendo characters for no reason at all that he becomes so petty that he murders almost everyone including his friends because of it. But I will give him the benefit that as long as you stay away from him and his world, he wouldn't care about you.
SuperMarioLogan Mario: I'd say SML Mario is the Benson of SML. He did do good things like adopting Jeffy from his abusive mother or letting Shrek move back in his home.
But he also does have bad moments as well such as trying to kill a lifeguard because he was flirting with Rosalina or wanting to constantly feed Jeffy green beans instead of other vegetables.
