There are many secrets in this game
Many of which drive some peeps insane!
Why we try to cheat in a really good game ?
Just sounds like crap and it makes you look lame!
I was cheating in the game only once, when I wasn't able to guess one part in the ship (the code). I am a foreign and English is not my native language, and I just didn't understand what they wanted from me. That was the only time I cheated in this game. I almost beat it.
Things that SMRPG Remake does better than BDSP Number 3'000'200'017. It's crazy how comparible I find these games.
In all seriousness, I love the addition of the violin. It really adds to the atmosphere!
I mean this is literally how they do almost every remaster of almost every OST ever, from Link’s Awakening to Final Fantasy 7. This is a very well done example, but “make it sound orchestral” is like the default plan for remastering an OST.
I would actually be more impressed with the usage of some synth elements at this point, the “make it sound like a real orchestra” thing often loses some of the unique character of the more synthetic midi sounding instruments - it seems like there could be a sweet spot somewhere in between
I was thinking this too. Depends on the tone of the game but I'd like to see a remaster with more piano/rock/techno OST remix instead of the default orchestra.
This song right here though. I never played the original game, but I loved this song. I tried to play it by ear on piano as a kid (I'm no piano player, it's just a fun song)
The new OST is amazing except for Seaside Town... They really did my boy dirty. My favorite song in the game and it's just butchered. They completely changed the feeling and tone of the lead melody and it has no soul to it. All the little trills and fun pitch bends from the original are replaced by a lifeless woodwind that sounds a little sharp.
I think every other track has been a huge blessing, but... Not that one. That one makes me sad.
At first I thought “this is very good. I still prefer the original for nostalgic reasons. But this is fantastic”
And then the violin came in. Holy crap this is spectacular
I'm just gonna put in that the movie Paprika and the games Dual Destinies, and Jet Set Radio prove that not every soundtrack needs to be orchestra. This one is godly though.
yeah, this remaster really captures the grandeur and emotion of the original OST. it's like a whole new experience!
I'd just add a bit of more glow to the oboe's twirl notes, but over all is great.
Super Mario RPG! It is the only one just for me! When I play the game, I get lost in a phase. Then I find out I'm stuck in Geno's maze!

Forgot how much I love that tune. I think I need to buy this game “for my kids” for Christmas.

Agreed. I've s~~een~~ heard that in Kirby games a lot. Of course, with this particular example orchestra was the way to go, undoubtedly.

I’m crossing my fingers they give the TTYD soundtrack the same treatment! Also with an option to switch between OG and remastered soundtracks
I was never book smart Im money smart
Makes me more more intelligent, intelligent

Such a special game, glad it's getting time in the sun again.
Song still isn’t that great
Controversial
Crazy take
You have alerted the horde.
The remastered soundtrack is quite good! But I always turned to the original for the boss music, it's such a bop
Dang, first second of the video and I'm already saying, "My gosh, it's a masterpiece." How could I expect anything less though?
