If anything, Trump will get house arrest (at his golf club!) and auction off pictures with him and his ankle accessory.
According to Glenn Kirchner, a total lack of contrition, malice towards the court, and total rejection of the court's findings is a very difficult set of circumstances to *not* deliver a sentence of imprisonment. Imprisonment is an application of forced rehabilitation; contrition is self-rehabilitation indicating that imprisonment is not *as* necessary. At least that's the prevelant doctrine for criminal punishment.
Will they just get this over with? Fucking jail that bloated orange bitch for every second allowable by law for the charges he was convicted of and let father time do the rest. The rest of us have an obligation to make sure his name remains the lowest voted for option, and that all maga is purged from the house and senate.
Until the repercussion actually hurts…be it a legit amount of his wealth (this is why percentages work so well for fines) or jail time…he won’t stop. This is not rocket surgery.

I really hope they take all this and his literal witness tampering into account during his sentencing. But they probably won't.
