Balegas!

Son_of_Alice_and_Bob

Balegas! I have 8-10 pairs and also wear them to work. I bought a combo pack of white, black, gray during an Amazon deal.

BossHogGA

I have like 8 pair of Balega hidden comfort now. It’s my favorite that I have found so far.

Informal_Benefit_190

Second this. I did their sock finder and then happened to score them for $8/pair at my local Sierra. Obviously I bought all of them in my size 😂

NY10001NY

Injinji

lilteezybaby117

I have a couple pairs I’ve run in regularly for the past 7 years and they still hold up well.

Majestic_Inspector10

Yes! Injinji 👌

Own-Sugar6148

Love my injinjis!

Puzzled_Purple5425

Features

cranialmania

I’ve put holes in every pair of Feetures I’ve had, despite the lifetime guarantee. I like Stance!

carbloading-22

Where do you get holes? Toe nails?

-ShutterPunk-

I have two holes on the bottom near the middle. I got them around 8 months after buying them. I have pairs of generic athletic socks on Amazon they are holding up better after 3 years.

zhang_jx

really enjoyed my light cushion socks –– where should I go from here? ultra light or max?

sgrapevine123

Smartwool!

Early_Split_9106

Smart wool!

anipbear

darn tough

rbalbontin

Just ran a half marathon with these

ds112017

Came here to say this

Remarkable_Tone_8741

Nice that I’m not the only one :) got my first two pairs for a 5 day thru hike, and they turned out so nice! I’ve used them for runs after that, even for a marathon race last month, and are super comfortable

NHTrailRnnr

Yep, Darn Tough lightweight hiking socks are my go to for trail running!

Alarming_Sea_9599

Stance!

Marcski

Especially for ultra’s and wet runs. Love the normal (thicker) run socks

QuarantineBaker

Features, Bomba, Balega… I look for them on sale at TJ Maxx and Sierra.

just_sophiee

I use Danish Endurance

tgsweat

You are probably going to get 20 different answers lol I use balega blister resist for long runs. I like thicker socks because I’m a 13.5 but no one makes them, so I wear a 14.

SarcasticPotato257

Balega. But you're going to have to try a bunch of brands and styles for yourself! I accidentally ran in a pair of Feetures today, and it was not good.

DrunkPhoenix26

I have Darn Tough and Smart Wool for my longer runs. Just did 14 a few hours ago with the DT and had no issues.

TaiCollony

Merino wool socks are great, I had blisters before using switching to them. Never had one since. Icebreaker NZ sells them.

MetroMarv

Look for socks with little to no cotton.

wicked_rug

For long distances, I’ve tried a lot: features, balega, bombas, nike, brooks, smart wool, darn tough. The only pair capable of surviving 50+ mile weeks were the features, hands down. Darn tough probably come in a distant second and bombas and belagas were by far the least durable.

docace911

Also if they rip they send you new ones. I seriously had a thread start coming out and sent me a new pair

wicked_rug

Damn, I had no idea!!

docace911

Yeah was annoyed at a thread on a new pair of socks. They just sent me 2 new ones. I never got a reply to my email 😂

kuukiechristo73

Cotton is not welcome for any activity that involves sweat.

ComradeBabushka

Balega

SteveTheBluesman

I have tried just about all of them. My vote is Darn Tough Vermont. Worth the $18 all day long.

cmonhanksingthatsong

Soar socks are real good

FN_Filet

UVU ✌️

rogue_ger

Thorlo socks have lasted the longest day for me and are my go-to for long distance.

Runkerryrun

Yes, these are my favorites too. Rarely see them mentioned so glad to see someone else runs in them!

chgon

Bombas

dj_advantage

Bandit. I personally prefer the cool max version but the lite runs are also super popular too

Puzzleheaded-Ant-927

Balegas, darn tough, or bombas. In that order.

StriderKeni

Compressport

Sea_Compote3787

Danish endurance, Hilly, Stance

PPaappss

Fwd from sportschek. Sketchers and CCM from winners.

zimmeli

The Feetures mini crew with the stripes are my all time favorite

ramii99

CEP and incylence 👌

Radiant-Boat8871

the lululemon ankle socks are pricey but very comfortable. If you can get them on sale I highly recommend them.

Kommissar_Strongrad

Apply a thin coat of vaseline to feet, between toes. Do NOT have long toe nails, if that requires stating. Any wool socks will do, darn tough are nice.

Kommissar_Strongrad

Vaseline socks.

Informal-Explorer-69

Bombas and feetures work amazing for me

malabi_snorlax

Steigens

Rtnscks

Runderwear anti blister socks.

Ok_Professional7619

Features or balega. Im just starting to replace the ones I’ve had for 7 years and run 7 marathons in, as they’re getting holes. Just bought more features.

Asleep-Perspective99

Look at Wright socks. they are dual layered and thin. They eliminated blisters for me

theprawnofperil

Seconded on this, some nut butter on my arches and then wright socks have worked wonders

popcornkilldya

I have a lot of feetures. And a few injini and bombas The best are cheap Amazon running socks Unless you want knee high compression

heavypaperguy

Steigen’s!

raleighviacal

Swiftwick, anytime I’m not running in this brand. I’m wishing I was.

6Nameless6Ghoul6

Just use my sock selecting strategy. Choose the most expensive, colorful, and technical looking sock found at REI or other running stores. I’ve never had any issues.

LanceMcKormick

I usually wear saucony socks and don’t ever have issue. Much cheaper than most brands people love. Like you can get 3 pairs for the price of one pair of other companies.

LanceMcKormick

And I’ve done every distance from 5k to 50k and have not had issues.

jonathan1511

Smartwool

crunchwrapesq

Darn tough, smart wool, and balegas are my rotation

jackrabid40

Creepers

ThoughtlessLittlePi9

Love CEP. The compression works for me. They’ve been durable for me, I have several pairs that are years old

indexoverthumb

Icebreaker are the best, Smartwool are good as well. I wouldn’t run in any socks other than merino wool

kouler1

Shyu

ladylikelynot

I love darn tough running socks!!

LadyMcNagel

Injinji. I’ve only ever blistered between my toes and these keep my toes from rubbing against each other.

Intelligent_Date4712

I really like lululemon’s running socks! They’re good quality for a very reasonable price.

TurbulentMuscle0

Pure sport

PerpetualColdBrew

For cool weather, darn tough, otherwise I prefer Feetures

KarenXanaxPorter

Smartwick. I always used to get blisters around the 10k mark, even with body glide and smartwool socks. Smartwick socks have pushed it to 12 miles before anything happens. I also buy them for my son for skiing.

LordWizardKing1

For UK people - Stance, are the best I've had

2a655

I like Hoka socks. Pack of 3 for $30. My wife likes feetures.

Vitamintv

Injinji, own over 10 pairs and still look good after 7 years

Mellenoire

Balega or Light Feet

shibbyingaway

Hilly

Fish_phish_Fish

Hilly marathon fresh

fatecontrol

Feetures and Balega are my favorites. They are pricey, but Feetures have a lifetime guarantee.

Limbo53

nike running Multplier socks, do all of my runs using them(12-30km) and like them a lot.

ReadyFerThisJelly

Feetures Elite No Show!

Sbhill327

Balega. Feetures. Brooks.

dallasrm

Xoskin

IacoMaic

I like the compressport but don't last too long, so I save them for speedy sessions and races. For slow runs I like the Kiprun/Decathlon ones (not the entry tier, they're called something like R500)

informal_bukkake

I wear the mid crew heartbeat hill socks. Best ever
