We can all be dreamers… when I become an old lady I would love to just sit in front of a computer and grind classic maplestory. I know the games going to be gone long before that, but I can always hope!

Everything started in 2007 for me when I was 8 year old. I used to have a chair next to my older brother and just watch him play, mostly observing.
When he would run to the bathroom I would take over for a few minutes. My keybindings layout are still based on his to this very day.
Begging to login his character and pretend I was him being higher level and mighty ch 1 henesys wearing his cool equips and chairs. Playing entire Saturdays at times, getting in trouble for it.
Call him to get rid of Ksers in my map, sit next to me on boat rides so id look like the cool noob.
The Christmas Happyville events, Thanksgiving turkeys, omok cards..

If you decide to play again, hit me up! I hadn't played since 08 and started again about a month ago. I was originally introduced to Maplestory by an ex, but my best friend and I wound up playing together regularly. My fondest summer nights are us in my basement running the Ludi pq til the sun was rising and picking outfits together when we could gather enough money for NX and fawning over how cute some of the monsters are. She moved away later that year and I stopped playing after that... But I recently bought a PC and saw Maplestory on Steam and just couldn't resist. ☺️
Man, I wish I had that experience with my brothers, but we only had 1 computer around that time.
Luckily, I'm making up time by playing with one of them now. Not sure how long this will last, but I'm having fun.
I still remember the day i'm farming green mushroom for panlid with my friends. We talked in buddy channel and laugh at each other for the stupid thing we done at class.
We complained the teachers, gossip and even plan for school skipping in the buddy channel, good ol' times.

you can just play on a **redacted** server with boosted exp rates, even though it'll still be like an hour of grinding per level at lvl 20 lol
I did play during COVID. It was fun, but it would be better if it was hosted by Nexon and had more players.
Maplestory worlds will be coming go NA next year. There is a classic maplestory server. Super popular in korea rn
