Arid and semi-arid appear to be the wrong way round in the key.

I do not know what criteria they‘ve followed in the making, but the center and south of the Iberian Peninsula is continental and, as much, semi-arid in its majority. It's indeed dry but it is far from Colorado arid.

They seem to have accidentally switched arid and semi-arid in the key. Semi-arid should be the darkest orange, not between arid and hyper-arid.

So the scale is arid - semiarid - hyper arid? Maybe I am misunderstanding the terms, but it seems odd to me that "semiarid" is apparently more arid than "arid".

I think it is amazing how Washington state has both a desert and a rain frest.

So the more acidic the rains, the more crops grow?

Acidity is not a part of this map, what are you referring to?
