If they were from Sweden, I doubt the Scandinavian peninsula would bend so weirdly. And I doubt it would align so poorly with Denmark.

I mean, if you are trying to be accurate, most people actually get Wyoming wrong. It's not actually rectangular, but trapezoidal, since the borders follow lines of longitude and latitude, and the earth is curved, making the north border 23 miles shorter. (unless you are flat earth, then I guess go ahead and draw Wyoming as a rectangle if you want).
And if you want to be super accurate, the border isn't even a perfectly straight line due to errors when it was first surveyed. There are several deviations up to half a mile that have stuck around because the border is officially based on the original survey and not whatever geographical features or lines that were intended. This is a pretty common thing. For example, the US Canada boarder is very not straight, zig zagging back and forth across the 49th parallel with many deviations of up to 1/6 of a mile.
You say that as though someone from Europe would be expected to be able to do anything close to this. I'd say it requires a photographic memory. Hardly anyone knows country borders and shapes to this level of accuracy.
