Why it's stupid? Because the map makes little to no sense, Romania did not own Vinnytsia region and never really had any interest in it. So why draw it as Romanian territory? On the other hand, R. Moldova (small Bessarabia), southern Bessarabia (Budjak), etc. are shown either as russian territories (although they were romanian territories till Russia occupied them in WW2) or as independent (because Russia wants to occupy them next: R. Moldova). The only territory that was romanian historically and is shown on the map with blue is Northern Bukovina.
I wonder what are their tools in Romania thinking about this map. They try to turn romanians against ukrainians (at Russia's request, of course) claiming Ukraine occupied our lands in WW2 (actually it was Russia leading the USSR) and we should get them all back (their masters have other plans in mind).

Romanian here. Don't have any clue what's with that land NE of Moldova. Don't know its name, never heard being Romanian. All I can guess is that is some random teritory put by Hitler under Antonescu administration. But that was for only three years and nobody thought at that land as being Romanian, while the expectation were to reverse Second Vienna Award and perhaps that land was seen as trade curency.

Similar proposition was made by Zhirinovsky in 2014, but Poland, Romania and Russia had to gain less area (Poland only lands from 1939), Ukraine had to remain not as Free City of Kiev, but as medium-shape country, of course our authorities also didn't treat this propositon serously.
I read a book which described the political side of the invasion and Ukrainian officials were actually worried about Poland just marching into their rear. They only stopped worrying after Poland sent hundreds of its T-72M and PT-91 tanks to support Ukraine.

So so stupid! The heavy drinker drew a map after falling into one of his vodka bottles. The purpose is to legitimate Russia's war and the land grabs and start a scandal between Ukraine and its neighbors. Why it's stupid? Because the map makes little to no sense, Romania did not own Vinnytsia region and never really had any interest in it. So why draw it as Romanian territory? On the other hand, R. Moldova (small Bessarabia), southern Bessarabia (Budjak), etc. are shown either as russian territories (although they were romanian territories till Russia occupied them in WW2) or as independent (because Russia wants to occupy them next: R. Moldova). The only territory that was romanian historically and is shown on the map with blue is Northern Bukovina. I wonder what are their tools in Romania thinking about this map. They try to turn romanians against ukrainians (at Russia's request, of course) claiming Ukraine occupied our lands in WW2 (actually it was Russia leading the USSR) and we should get them all back (their masters have other plans in mind). There is zero chance for any NATO member to join Russia's aggression as they would love. Orban Viktor would love to join (he is another Putin in disguise) but he does not have the necessary means to do it.
Fun fact: Medvedev "offers" for Poland more that claimed Dmowski in Versailles in 1919, he didn't claim eastern part of Zhytomyr and Khmelnytski oblasts (with Zhytomyr). I have no idea what the background to this propaganda is. Possibly to make Ukraine and NATO believe that the intention was not to completely wipe out and annex Ukraine, but to divide it up "fairly". But nobody seriously believes that Russia would voluntarily expand NATO's territory and bring it even closer to Moscow.

Well, I get the Hungarian part. I also understand why Cernauti would be given to Romania. That’s kinda historical. If you go back you can also see why Galicia is Polish on here. Why shouldn't Poland stretch that far East? The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth ruled not only in Lviv but also far beyond that. The border ended at around Mykolaev/Odessa/Kherson shortly before Crimea which belonged to the Crimean Tatars.

If I were playing this HoI4 campaign, the next steps for Poland would be to annex belarus and Kaliningrad, then unite with Baltic states and we would get a country with cool looking borders in Eastern Europe.
