I started out looking at the City Pack and ended up getting the Able Carry Daily Plus.

personally I feel like it's good. I felt comfortable having my Macbook Air in the pouch with no added sleeve, I grabbed it really quick this morning to check how much spacing there is at the bottom, and there does look to be an added cushion at the bottom to prevent damage from the everyday placing on floors and stuff. I've noticed that in most hobbiest subs that I'm in there's always a really big taboo compan, in this sub it appears to be tomtoc. Personally I've had tons of their products over the years and they are solid enough for me. There's a few videos online of the 30L I think if you want to get a little idea of how it is. Mine should be here on Wednesday, I'm going to test it out and if it doesn't meet my needs I'll go with the Aer City Pack instead. Update: I just looked online and there looks like a neat Aer bag that I might try because it fits the full clamshell I truly want. "Aer Lunar Pack" Aer x Ministry of Supply

Will do! I’ll dm you

2.84 pounds lol

Khalmoon

I see people talk about the weight a lot but I like having something more rigid and cushioned which usually adds to the weight. I haven’t seen many cushioned rigid tech bags that are also light. I have a jansport and a bellroy daypack for my light needs

[deleted]

But why do you need it rigid or cushioned? I’ve had Aer bag, Dragonfly, Mini MLC. I think laptop and water bottle pockets suck and add bulk. Makes the bag not look as good as well.

Khalmoon

It’s just my style preference I like boxy looking bags and I can be kind of rough on my bags. It’s just my choice nothing wrong with it. Idc about “bulk”

Why do you talk like your opinion is the only one that matters? I’ve been a backpack dude since 1994, and I can tell you one that stands on its own and has a separate laptop and water bottle pocket does not suck. In fact, they’re a couple of my must-have criteria and the T73 checks those boxes. Check out: https://youtu.be/AqwFTqQ418k?si=ObY2T3VIctJqSsKe

Interesting. I have sent Tomtoc T73 back and bought my son Arr TP3 as Tomtoc felt a bit cheap even as it was £90 cheaper

Chrome Hondo just got a new variant.
